Please drop the price so I can afford it. I am a senior on a fixed income. I love the guitar. Would you give me one for a nice RU-vid video? I have hand disabilities. I lost the tip of my middle finger in a work accident and cannot make proper chords. I am now retired. I will do a nice video.
@@Lyx21well let me tell you, as a beginner-intermediate classical guitarist, there is lot of things missing like tuning, string bending, sliding, hammer-ons and etc(if you know some guitar techniques), another thing is that this guitar is way expensive than normal guitar and also you have to charge it P. S, It is also not a good guitar for beginner
No bending, no sliding, no harmonics, no different amounts of pick attack, no bounce back from the pick hitting the string, and it doesn't build up callouses for when you want to pick up and actual guitar. And it sounds like shit. Sorry, nah. Edit: OMG NAH, NOT EVEN TAPPING.
@@user-zg2od6mh1njust because it looks cool and futuristic doesn't mean it's good, you can design a fidget spinner as much as you want but people will still call it old school and lame
@@cassette3842 nope it was exactly like this guitar, the fret board could come off also It had 12 strings but it was a 6 string, 6 strings on the body and 6 more on the fret board, idk how else to explain it
its actually harder to play, not because it's a more advanced instrument. but because its shit and doesn't work properly. i.e muting strings with the fretting hand is impossible with this so you can't strum properly without it playing the other strings and sounding like ass..
i would argue its not good for producers either. you're much better off with an actual guitar if you're intersted in those kinds of tones, or if you want a midi controller, a midi keyboard is a much better choice
Producers already have all these instruments as VST presets don't say it's good for producers, many producers record actual guitar through mic because digital instruments doesn't sound human and real. At the end of the day even the artists adds the plugins and effects through the actual irl mixer. Please stop trying to make these "short slogans/ phrases"
omnisphere 2 literally makes this thing non existent and more of a hassle than anything for producers. not to mention trilian for bass, and shreddage for guitar (famously used in megalovania[but there’s a lot more than just these two]). all of these come with huge sound samples and tons of articulations so you can make them sound as real as possible. and that’s not even scratching the surface. nintendo uses omnisphere 2 in tons of games as well. really omnisphere 2 covers guitar and bass a ton but trilian and shreddage feature tons of actual direct sampled instruments like the p bass or ibanez, even obscure ones like chapman pick so you can get the exact instrument you want to be quite honest, this product does not have a market except unknowing people who don’t realize it’s mostly just a novelty that’s not capable of real instrumentation. heck, i could get a more real sound out of the most basic guitar presets on any synth. even a sample honestly.
no pain no gain edit : thx for 1k, appreciate that comments be wildin' debate's over guys, chill out we proved different points for different aspects ok
@@Cow774 like why wouldn't I want calluses all over my fingertip instead of making it easier and removing the sole purpose of guitar by making it "string less on the fret board" and removing the technique of natural harmonic, bending, etc
@@lingus1382 it turns out there is midi in a new version of the guitar but it recognizes notes that you were muting and has a few other weird features /bugs they made, so it's basically worthless too.
To everyone shitting on this guitar, think about it this way. There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people with disabilities that may want to pick up the guitar, they may have weakend fingers and hands, thus not being capable of playing an actual guitar. This solves the problem by being a more comfortable, beginner alternative for certain people with certain types of disabilities. I hope this helps.
Ok except this does the EXACT same thing a synthesizer would except it's much more difficult to play. I'm sure someone could find a use case for this but this isn't for people who ''gave up guitar because it was too hard'' as this doesn't make playing guitar any easier Also a guitar is a string instument if you take away the strings it's not a guitar anymore
@@RobotronSage I get what you're saying, but if you don't like it and think it's stupid, that's what you think. And that's a totally fair and valid point. All in saying is that this may be convenient and more friendly towards people within a certain criteria. Not everything is made for everyone. And it does what a synth does but those are 2 different things. I see it as if you find a use, use it. If you don't, understand that there's someone out there who could use this
Bassist here. Standard tuning for a six string bass is BEADGc, not EADGbe. If you cant even get that right what are you even on about. Calling what that thing has a "Bass Setting" is making James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorious, and Chris Squire vibrate in their graves at precisely 55 htz.
Holy fuck I might need to tune my A string you just gave me an idea (I lowered my E string to D on electric and i can't hear the third string in chords)
I've actually tried one of these out. It actually was pretty decent. I could see where it'd be cool to mess around with and see what you can do with it. However it is not a replacement for a guitar. Still an interesting piece of kit though
Hey, I have a guitar just like that! It’s red, though. And it has strings that go from the bridge all the way up the neck along the fretboard. The strings are also connected to the tuning keys, making it possible to tune the instrument however you see fit! It’s also got a jack you can plug an amplifier to with a cable, but unfortunately it doesn’t have a whammy bar…
Wow....that sounds crazy man. Where did you find such and animal? 😂😂😂 Next thing your going to tell me is that it can get really loud too. Or that you can plug it into little boxes that you step on(funny in itself) that can make it sound different and in some ways weird. You need to stop lying to people before the Internet police come and get you. 😂😂😂😂 Have a great day.
This is so bad, please never buy this. And what is shown in the video is hard to play and you definitely won't be able to play it instantly, even with a soulless stringless guitar
@@JamieBaxter-rq2yy the neck carve, if you can call a flat plank thin enough to be the fretboard a 'neck', is flatter than an ibanez. it's probably less ergonomic than an actual guitar because with most other guitars there's actually something to grab onto
@@zaneroote5798this guy has been spamming that same comment about disabled people on every comment with a criticism. He’s either a moron or he works for their marketing department 😂
For something to travel with or if it was made 100 percent water proof so i could play in the rain without messing up my guitars The added benefit of not having to replace strings Pretty cool possibilities
The product in this video is for disabled people who can't press down on the strings of a guitar hard enough due to mobility issues. (And anyone else that wants one)
@@GranocherealOld mate with the silk fingers has only posted that same comment about half a dozen times elsewhere under this video. I reckon all of that reposting oughta toughen those hands up a bit!
@@JamieBaxter-rq2yyNo it isn’t, stop parroting this crap on every comment. They didn’t make this with any disabled people in mind, that’s just a excuse to cover their shitty product
everyone hates this but i'm severely hypermobile and developing arthritis and this would help SO much. i had to almost completely stop playing guitar because it caused such bad flare ups that i wouldn't be able to move my hands, and i think i would still be able to play this.
Yeah that's why I was so excited about the jammy guitar but they were around for a while but with the war and stuff had manufacturing issues Steinberger Spirit GT-PRO is small. I just wouldn't get the Airoguitar because watching reviews on it. You can't play chords or do Palm mutes
Being hyper mobile has nothing to do with this and if you have arthritis this is even worse than a normal guitar cuz the picking hand position is terrible and the fretting hand has the same position on a normal guitar
I don't have any plans of getting better at instruments at all, so at first this looked like an awesome product for people like me who just want stuff to sound pretty, but maybe I'm missing something
@@pancakeoverlord1 how does it know where your fingers are? if it can't tap or hammer-on they dropped an easy ball cause it obviously has the sensors unless the video is fake 😂
@YagamiKou it (probably, i can't say for sure) has sensors on the frets when you place your finger on them. but there aren't anything like strings on it
@@devinthierault nah man, I'm talking about Jojo's S1 meme when you hear the tune the episode is going to end and something pop out and say"to be continued" The song actually called Roundabout.
Are you a musician? If you aren't, it's not that your opinion doesn't matter or isn't valid, it's just that without the proper mindset you're unable to see the faults within this product.
@Nega-Tim are you for real? Get the joke man. I said it LOOKS cool. You know, the one thing that doesn't matter in music. But what do I know? My opinion inst good enough for mister king of rock and roll.
It’s the way they market it, they say it’s an alternative to people to a better guitar than a normal one even tho it’s way more poorly made and sounds terrible and unlike a midi keyboard, it’s not as useful
I haven’t played this but this could still be a great tool for muscle memory and technique practice, even if it slightly resembles a real guitar if can help build speed and Dexterity that can translate to a real guitar while being portable
@@AeroBand.official There are better less expensive midi controllers with real strings, and if you've got arthritis this ain't helping. Either cut the price to 25 dollars or watch everyone clown you for the rest of time
this is kinda crap. It doesn’t actually have the sound of a guitar, it doesn’t feel like one. I would never buy this because it’s literally just a kiddie guitar or the guitar ver of those flat kid pianos.
this could only be used as a tool to introduce guitar to an absolute noob. even then you cant teach them fretting, bending, proper chord shapes or finger placement. just timing. good idea, bad product.
@@gunsinposes107 with how flat and thin that neck is, i have a hard time believing anyone would find it more comfortable than a normal guitar this makes ibanez necks look like a baseball bat
@@JamieBaxter-rq2yybeing for disabiled people dpesnt mean it should sound bad. You just copy and paste the same comment over and over without understanding jack of why people talk crap about this. It cant even get the basic 6 string bass correct.
Don't fix what isn't broken. Maybe the strings can feel hard on your fingers for a while when starting to play, but you'll get used to it. There just isn't nearly as much nuance without actual strings.
This sounds like absolute dog shit. In this day an age where we have incredibly convincing synthesizers, this one sounds like it's early 2000s hardware
@@JamieBaxter-rq2yy Please point me to the part in the video where they mention that this product is geared towards people who lack the dexterity to play a guitar because of their disabilities.
Terrible for practice though, it doesn’t have strings so the entire feel and movements will be off and you won’t be learning anything except terrible habits/style
Well i just got it and yeah despite the downside, this actually nice way to change a pace, I mean im not so good at it but, well at least i do appriciated the idea of it 🙂
