For all it's issues, this is the one BB toy I've seen that gets the heels right and accurate to the film. BB in the films had some weird platform feet with double heels yet most toys just give him basic flat feet.
Personal favorite since kid me wanted it so bad when it came out lol There’s also a ROTF variant of it (“Battle Charged”) but it’s not as common and I’d only buy it if I found it in-person somewhere

Didn't realize this variation of Bumblebee was that much larger than the DOTM release which already felt like a pretty big toy. No experience with either as the Human Alliance one would be as big as I'd ever need my my movie Bee, but my nephew a while back found the DOTM one in a thrift store minus one foot. What a deal for $3 Canadian.
I flinched every time I heard a "creak" or a "snap" during the transformation cuz a few months ago my golden version of this practically crumbled apart last time I went to transform it after years of playing with it as a kid
When I was a kid I remember getting a massive bumblebee toy for my birthday, and I always wondered what happened to it. I lost it years ago and tried looking for a figure like it for the last 5 or so years thinking maybe I imagined it all and the toy doesn't exist. Then I found this video, boy am I glad I found this. The memories that flooded me when I finally found the toy. This toy was definitely beyond my time. I was too young to understand this thing, but I remember it being the coolest thing I had.
This fig is fucking with me.Sometimes I look at mpm figures and like "Oh yeah it is accurate as it can be" BUT,then it hink of,for example bees rocket launchers on shoulders,that are not on mpm,or dmn optimus prime bars on the truck.The ones on front bumper,it just pisses me off for some reason
Me and my 6 year old son have made a pact to only have two Bumblebees each. We both have the Netflix Bug and The Spaceship. We went through so many crappy ones we vowed never again lol (we have both cheated on our agreement). The creatures and worlds collide sets were pretty cool. ✌
Ahhh, Battle Ops Bumblebee...aka MPM2...yesss. That's right, the first two releases of the Masterpiece Movie line were repaints of HftD Leader class Starscream in 2007 colors (which to me looks better, but the Studio Series does the 2007 look better) as MPM1, and this thing is MPM2. (Making it hilarious that MPM3 Bumblebee and MPM10 Starscream are completely new molds)
Honestly I love bigger versions of the toys. Ironhide, Bumblebee and the high quality upscales from Wei Jiang(they made an awesome TF4 Last Knight Hound).
I remember getting this for Christmas way back then. I loved the fact that it came with a gold cyberverse bumblebee and cyberverse mudflap for some reason. I also remember seeing it at a local Ross about a week before Christmas so I’m assuming my parents bought it without me noticing that day.
Rip the missing parts, i had one that was missing its entire arm. I honestly liked it, but in my opinion the human alliance is better. Its smaller and has a interior, but has the exact same vehicle mode details. The missile launchers on the shoulders were cool, though.
You joke about it being like the MPM, but I'm pretty sure that one is actually MPM-2. The retail battle-ops Bumblebee was painted entirely gold to my knowledge, or at least the one I had was. Came with a GPS legends scale bumblebee whose arm broke off after a month. Edit: I stand corrected. There was a non-gold release.

i had a dotm bumblebee in the black colors i broke it mid transforming from car to robot mode because the thing on it's hip wouldn't budge and broke now it's in two halves like in the first movie. But i did not know that there was a bigger one
I have one of these, as a kid I broke off the whole top of the vehicle mode and the cannon hand never worked but I always loved this figure even tho it objectively isn't the best
Seems like this toy is supposed to replace the previous gimmicky, ultra-large Ultimate Bumblebee released as part of 2007 movie and ROTF in 2009. Ultimate Bumblebee sure is big but lack the detail for the size
mine is missing the same part on the side of the car. My brother found it when someone was throwing it out a few months ago and he gave it to me. Definitely worth what the free I spent!+
Man I used to have a bunch of transformer toys from 2010-2015 and as soon as I turned 14 my grandma gave them all away to my youngest cousins who don’t even play with them and sold the for $10. I had literally $1000 worth of figures and some rare ones too😢😢
Oh man I remember this toy. It's probably in my old toy box somewhere but my little child brain couldn't comprehend what I was doing so it was always stuck in camero mode
I got Battle Ops bumblebee from my brother's friend used, it's missing the hip skirt on the opposite side of yours And the right knee ratchet straight up exploded on me when i bent the knee for the third time, like one of the sprockets shot out of the gap in the knee and actually cut my cheek. And then the windshield cracked and eventually broke, the forward rotation ratchet on the left arm was broke when i got it, but it's still tight enough that i can pose it. I gutted the electronics permanently, snipped the wires and everything. And the peg that holds the head in place was broken when i got it.... I still love the crap out of it though

I was lucky and found one complete just missing his Autobot head crest for $20 at a indoor flea market and works perfect. Does have "custom faded black strips" as you mentioned. I love mine despite the flaws
I’ve always wanted battle ops bumblebee ever since I was a kid it was the top of my wishlist for Christmas unfortunately I never got it but I might have to track it down eventually
I have this figure, and it's an excellent display piece in robot mode. Unfortunately you can really only get like 1 or 2 good poses out of this guy due to how stupid the arms are jointed.
If I had a dollar for every figure that you’ve reviewed that I also had as a kid I’d have quite a few I remember this figure because I could transform it lol but I also remember seeing a review of a gold one for whatever reason lol spot on review though
