@@EditorSecimi goal is to destroy the mid game, if you fail to do so then gg, big damage aatrox builds are a gamble and sometimes rely on you having a tanky support and jg that can take over peeling and initiation duties.

@@trinixjin8039 I tried it when he was giga broken with pre nerf duskblade, it was not worth. Adc's have enough damage to kill you mid game, you dont have any resistance.

I go hydra into duskblade

Aatrox can still 1v2 consistently if he's not up against a counter pick 😅

You buy items based on the situation, black cleavers passive wouldn't really make much work and neither would shojin, but cleavers base stats are higher. It is an easy choice once you get all the 'knowledge'. Or you just enjoy the game without thinking that much in game and if you want it that badly plan your strategy before you start, that makes the experience better. Even if you wanna get situational, I advise you to do it BEFORE you start the game, and in detail enough that it will satisfy you. So yeah, your questions answer would be "Because it doesn't make sense.". He said shojin is bad because aatrox can't get it's full utility from it, thing is the item is so broken that the stats make up for it.

I mean, it's not really an aatrox problem, it's that bruisers items are fucking broken

Im not into microstats and stat check that much cause im not playin league full time i play casually and i dont have time to figure out the difference between 2 items that is literally 10 dmg more or less or whatever.

@@andreimoga2776well, if you’re against someone with a lot of armor shojin won’t help you as much as cleaver will, it just depends on the matchup, you can always build both but one would take precedence. Cleaver gives more haste early game while shojin gets more haste later in the game

It depends on the matchup, for me if they’re squishier I like to do duskblade into seryldas, (maw, steraks, dd, ), if they’re tankier or we need a tank it’s goredrinker into (cleaver, shojin, seryldas) spirit visage , steraks, dd

If you believe you are good with aatrox go drakthar -> serylda it is the highest carry potential build.
