I was just pouring my heart out God in prayer earlier today about pushing people away because I’m scared of being hurt again. I just came out of a very toxic and abusive relationship. God has put new people in my life and brought me Christian friends who try to show me love. I had a trigger moment last weekend and started pulling away this past week. Then not too long after I prayed, this video popped up on my RU-vid feed and I know it’s God’s response to my prayer. As I watch this all I can do is cry. I’m thankful that God allowed me to watch this. I’m continuing my healing journey and surrendering to God during this process. God bless you 🙏🏾

Trace your fear, Chase your fear, and chastened your fear

I needed to hear this! The part that stood out the most was the question "What defense mechanism do we employ?" 1. You find fault early 2. You give low or limited effort 3. You keep a detailed record of wrongdoing I’m definitely guilty of #3 😥 I’ve been reading 1 Corinthians 13 where it says “Love…it keeps no record of wrongs” and I’ve been feeling convicted already but this really made me see this as an area where I need to grow in. #correctthenarrative

Fear is not your master. God is LOVE and He created us to LOVE ❤.

Brother, this message….WHEW! I recently met someone who, unbeknownst to me, was fearful avoidant. I was very angry at him but this message really helped me understand what happened. Fearful avoidants need INTENSE THERAPY, especially if you’re older, 50, 60, 70, years old, to uproot the painful childhood trauma. This is a PROCESS! Yes, God can deliver someone instantly but that would be a miracle and we know miracles don’t often happen. That’s why it’s called a miracle! This message made me very sad for him and caused me to intercede for him. (STILL stay over there!) 😆This is an extremely sad way to live! Thanks for your transparency!

🤯🤯🤯 wow boy was that spot on. I didn't realize this was a thing until just the other night I received counseling over this very thing. I was always disqualifying men I had dated due to this exact concept! I disqualified basically every man. and have missed out on so much life due to being scared of love and someone not being able to love me right. i mean how could someone love me if we didn't have everything exactly the same, why would they love me? So I had to find someone on the exact same page as me. Well let me tell you, that's an impossible goal. And then even then, honestly, real, raw, and intense love is overwhelming and scary. I want it so desperately but once I'm faced with it, it is so overwhelming. this lesson blew my mind, so spot on! how have i gone 34 years not knowing this. I am so ready to trace my fears, chase my fear, and chasten my fear! Thank you for taking the time to do these videos, it brings healing and chain breaking freedom! wow

Y’all, I started watching this message last Friday morning when I was working in the kitchen. Right from the jump, it hit a nerve so hard that I had to put it down. Finally, I came back to it today on Monday. God kept telling me to listen to it, but I was scared. Now I know why I was afraid. I’m still afraid. “Love“ has hurt me so much… thank you Lord, for this word and for your messenger Isaac who is willing to be vulnerable for us. I’m going to need your help , Lord. But I know you are able. And I am willing.🙏🏻

Thank you for this I really needed it. I’ve been praying for friendships but haven’t got any and started telling myself maybe I don’t have any friends cause God doesn’t want me to right now cause I would only hurt them in the process anyways. I’m going to try to trace, chase (this one seems the hardest for me), and chastise this fear though thank you again for delivering this message so clearly.

@iamissaccurry Pastor Issac this has got to be the most POWEERFUL therapy session yet. First thing I thought of was when I "pushed" God away and He came after Me and got Me. I felt Him ask "why are You so afraid of Me?" and all I could say in reply was because everyone else rejected Me so why not Him. TOTALLY explains why every relationship in My Life failed. BUT God reminded Me that He had NEVER not Loved Me or ever stopped Loving Me so I just asked a simple question: "Lord, what IS Love, according to what YOU say?" and that's when it hit Me HARD. Life's NEVER been the same since and THIS session explained it ALL. SHARED AND WILL SHARED MANY TIMES OVER - so many need to hear this. That vulnerability thing - heard something this morning "...the times have changed so much that We now celebrate People who are fake and get mad at People who are real." There's a lot of Truth to that because to be REAL, You HAVE to be vulnerable and that's hard - but worth it.

Really only relationship I care about the most is God I dnt care about goin bac ta my past , it ment ta happen n ta stay n the past boxed up n neva re-opening AGAIN

Thank you for releasing this word. I’ve been hiding for so long, even as a Christian, and messing up the most important relationships in my life. My past has caused me not to be vulnerable and I did not understand why till now. It’s kept me from experiencing love from my spouse. And I’m hurting him. Lord help me go correct the narrative.
