This is exactly my problem ! I can hit my irons reasonably ok and shape shots , fades and draws, but as soon as i get the driver out, slice ville. Its like i have an issue with letting my arms swing further away from my body when using driver and pull my arms in, creating a slice. Im ok off tee with hybrid, 7 wood and even a 9 wood , but soon as 3 wood or driver comes out the bag..ooer.
Thank you for clarifying - I’ve heard instructors say not to change your swing between driver and irons, I guess in an attempt to keep things simple, but clearly it’s not true!
What are your offers for a yes ? 😂 I am open for free lessons, fittings, free clubs etc. 😉! By the way ....Would be a great videoseries .... show your Viewers what you can do with lessons......😏 on a lazy (only on practise) average talented weekend golfer.... which meanwhile didnt Play for 6 month LOL
Could it also be a variation of maybe not having a wide enough stance to keep you right side for dipping down creating a reach over and swinging left..or maybe swinging to the right but still having the right hand thumb over center in grip and or left foot set back and not just in an even stance but open towards the green? I been trying to figure this out and when I hit it straight I forget to observe all aspects of the swing i just did or just over look something because the very next one I thought I had figured out slices again.
This is my exact problem. So the low point in my swing is where the club starts back left around my body. The video is a little vague on the mechanics or swing thought I should have to ensure I'm hitting both up and my path is still to the right. Any suggestions?
