Criminals always return to scene of the crime . After time passes, narcissist realizes how good things were when they had you and they do the compare game . They look at their life and if they don’t have a supply, or tired of what they have , and you cut them off....they’ll want you back or test you to see what they can get away with . Narcissist are incapable of change so it’s best to just grey rock them and walk away
Does these people ever feel unworthy - going from source to source - laying naked in 10-50 different beds. I Would die in silede if i lived that life. This is so disgusting. Narcissists reidolize because once they see that you’ve healed, they sense the fresh potential supply they can suck further from you. And it pains them because they realize that they no longer have access to that because now you’ve grown and became wiser and you’ve saved your love for someone who is truly worthy of it. Someone who can receive and return that love out of selflessness.
They often try to say “we can still be friends”. They try to collect exes as friends if they can so they don’t feel like the bad guy/girl. Also to see if they can try to get back in with you at a later date. If you don’t want to remain friends then they say you’re “bitter”. Smh
Because that greener grass was not so green after all and the miss the supply you gave them... remember the grass will always be greener everywhere else because the narc has not drained it all of its nutrients. If you ever go back it will be cool for a minute then the narc will say oh look green grass over there ugh

Narcs will do and say the most irrational and irresponsible things. And when they know they have screwed up, they will try to compensate by doing and saying EVEN MORE irrational and irresponsible things!
The narc will diminish your character and value to their new supply…until…everything goes south with them at which point they completely change their tune about you and let the defunct supply know how beautiful and awesome you really were. Masters of playing both sides!
It is scary, I truly didn’t know. Ignored all the red flags and I didn’t understand why my health was failing. My body was literally screaming get out but I was stuck in the fantasy painted by the narcissist. I’m grateful for being discarded I would have never been able to leave on my own. Now to detox my mind and overcome the “addiction”.
...because they were unable to completely destroy you the first time. BUT... if you did the work in-between then and when they try to come back... learning about narcissism and those things in YOU that made you attracted/attractive to the narc and got help to fix THOSE things? This is so true. My ex narc left me and our then 5month old for a hideous creature that lives in the projects with somebody. I was so confused because we differ in looks completely. I also have my own house, car and am financially set. I was so confused but then it hit me, its a control thing and he definitely doesn't have a type. I should have known because all his exes were the same in every aspect. First and last narc for me, I have never seen anything like it!

Plus it depends on the Narc age....they're unable to please 2 supplies at the same time unless they (supplies) agree to wait in line for attention time resources etc
The former narcissist friend of mine has come full circle. I confronted him about his behavior and he turned on me in a second and said I was crazy, I was stalking him, I was obsessed, he was afraid of me (because I confronted him with screenshotted proof of his lies and deceptions). So I said fine, I'm done with your B.S. anyway, never contact me again. 3 years after going total no contact and he started randomly messaging me on apps and with new email addresses trying to initiate a conversation, with messages titled "I hope you've been well" and "I've been concerned about you". Why? I thought I was this horrible unstable obsessed stalker that he was afraid of? One would think he'd be happy to be rid of me? Why do anything to attract the attention of such a person? Why even care how they've been? Obviously he's looking for an in, he wants something from me now. I would have thought my never responding to him would let him know I'm not interested in any further contact. But every few months, I get another message and I delete it without reading it.
They reidolize you to come back and completely obliterate you. They see you're still standing so they want to pull the rug out from under you all over again.
It's definitely not about looks with the new supply, it is simply that this person is tolerant, naive almost, they're not asking as many questions...someone they can control.

Devaluation took place through actions instead of words in my situationship with my Cluster B narcissist. 10 years wasted. The primary source is the one who exposed the fact there is a new source...It’s been a few months and and I am regaining my peace of mind, but I know he will return...but the situation is completely toxic and I deserve much better
My annual narc check up.clean n free 3 years. But real talk this sh... is funny as hell..because if someone still stuck with these jokers. Side note they never ever change. I kept it moving from day 1. No more Hoover’s. Thank goodness.
First time I listened to you in a long time Quinn have been nark free now for 2 years and took me about 4 or 5 months to heal and you was amazing on my recovery. Am so good at picking them up now I can spot them with in 5 mins and even in there texts. My one even tries to get back to me by emailing me still after 2 years. Never replied to any. Mine use to always use the phrase...: REAL EYES, REALIZE; REAL LIES; he’s an old pro...I use to wonder Y he also has a tattoo; that says “Who’s Next”....wow, right...imagine that; he is dedicated to it; like a sport of sorts 😞😔😔& I sadly got into that relationship after not being in one for over 8years; only truly still standing bcuz of God’s Grace (which he even tried to well did mock & abused me even in that)...
Omg he went on break so many times!!! And I spent my time running around in circles wondering what I could do to get him back, as if I were the one that was flawed. I feel so sad for that woman I was and feel so relieved I'm not in that same place today. It's like God shined His light on me when I started to learn about NPD. I was set free!
At 13:45 of the video, I'm listening to what you are saying. You triggered me to go back to my IG and look at all of my accomplishments before and even after the narc. The biggest smile came across my face. They leave us with so much insecurity, self-doubt, and confusion that we forget who we really are. Quite the contrast as you say indeed Quinn! Left me for a little girl (23 to his 47) he found online (FB/IG) who was the polar opposite of what he says he loves in a woman. Everything he harped on & hated...she is. I know confidently it will end badly between them both eventually & I’m sure to be idolized again at some point. Yo this definitely my ex narcissist ♉. He keeps creeping around while he thinks i am not aware he is up to the same shit. Almost a year of no contact you reach out still married and attached to multiple females past/present. I just keep laughing 😆 because he definitely lives in a false sense of reality where his behavior is not a big deal 😂
When I discarded him he accused me over and over of seeing me with another man. He even stalked me and attacked me saying I want this other dude. HE NEVER SAW ME WITH ANOTHER DUDE. His delusional, magical thinking forced him to believe that I left him for another man. That's the only way he could deduce why I left him. Not for any of his actions. That's scary...
I NEVER thought I'd be thanking my bipolar ex-wife for anything, but here I am. Went monk-mode for 20 years, met someone I THOUGHT was worth a shot only to discover the wonders of covert narcissism. The damage my ex-wife caused me made me evolve into a "grey empath". I know most use the term "super empath" but I prefer grey, kind of like the grey Jedi in Star Wars. They've learned about the Dark side, can utilize those powers but CHOOSE not to. Yes, the devalue/discard from this narc hurt, BAD, but it didn't destroy me and I was able to "suck it up and drive on" as we said in the Army. She downgraded MASSIVELY with a guy who is my opposite in every way (magical thinking that the opposite thing will work) and in a few short months has jumped off the alcohol cliff and now lives in squalor and empty whiskey bottles. I just heard from a co-worker that she has already devalued and is in the discard phase with the new supply. Surprise surprise, she has been popping up around me, acting all bubbly and chatty, "coincidentally" coming around me at work and fishing for attention like she used to in the beginning. She broke her mom's heart, her mom and I had joked about calling each other "in-law" and she so badly wanted me to become a part of her world/family. I was the best "grade A supply" her daughter had ever had, I understand that woman better than even her mother (her words, not mine) so I KNOW she's coming back around. Do I still love her? Yes, I do. But like a grey Jedi, I UNDERSTAND her, and can turn to the Dark side enough to use her own evil against her. There is only one way I'd ever entertain anything other than casual indifference towards her, and it's the one thing she'll almost certainly never do: CHANGE!

She thought the grass was greener on the other side but found out it was artificial turf! Now she's hoovering me, assumed my mannerisms, dress (for real)in an attempt to lure me back. I’ve lived it, heard it, watch the whole new supply shit pan out. I’ve had therapy ...now onto life coaching (go me 💪) and he can see I’m not doom & gloom easily controlled ...I’m zoom & boom 💥 what a difference Please post more about what happens to the old source on re idealisation. My ex from 20 years ago popped up at my aunt's house as an attempt to find me. He left his number. I called him. He apologized to me. He was very abusive to me. Mostly physically, but there was some verbal, emotional, and mental abuse as well. Anyway I can tell that he is a big flirt. And I'm sure that he is in a relationship with someone else. Based off of the things that I have seen. Anyway he keep going on and on about him apologizing to me, and how I should forgive him. Lol. Smh. He keep bringing up how good I was to him in the past. So I know he is only consumed by all the things I did for him, and what I tolerated in the past. He idolizes that part of me. The broken person that I was when I was with him.
