Daredevil OW was nowhere near as talked about as Fortnite. I rarely heard anyone say anything about it but now days i hear so much about Fortnite that i feel like i should barge into the arguments and talking bc i can't stand listening to that cancer everyday
Daredevil i used to play tf2 as well but i never heard once it being called a "TF2 Killer" Most of the time is about how cool the game was gonna be and that's about it
Caydog Gaming No, Minecraft was actually a good game with tons of content and tons of things to do, and the playerbase could create their own content. It was basically digital Lego. While the media spread of it was just as big if not bigger, I feel like it was sort of justified. Weather you like the game or not, it was a great game. In my opinion Minecraft was on a similar level to what WoW used to be. Annoyingly popular, but great. Leugue of Legends is another example. Fortnite is not a bad game either, but objectively it is not that great of a game. It's unbalanced, unfair and extremely luck based. Yet it is extremely popular. I don't think there has ever been a game as overrated as Fortnite.
Henrik Nilsson I agree, I would rather play Minecraft than Fortnite any day. Fortnite isn't terrible but the internet has definitely overhyped it for what it offers
Also, for the few times I've played it, there was never a balanced match. You either have players much better or much worse than you. I prefer overwatch because of that equal, or at least similar, playing field.
I tried out Fortnite once; determined that same day that it just wasn't for me. I honestly don't know how they expect new players to get into the game, considering they throw newbies into matches with pro snipers and people who can build massive towers in half a second whereas a newbie like me is still fumbling to build a single wall.
Reasons why I "don't like" fortnite: *Not that great graphics *A game that doesn't require a lot of "skill" *My siblings and cousins stopped playing overwatch (basically the only thing that we did together) *Is not a team based game *Everyone as to be the same character with the same game method, ... I don't hate fortnite, I can actually enjoy playing it for like 1/2 games in a row, but more than that it just gets boring which defeats the purpose of playing videogames.
Fijy Fortnight does not take a lot of skill ! Even “pro “ fortnight players says that there so many random thing that can happen ! Nobody actually cares about k/d unless your a kid Duo and squads are just fun modes Not the real way to play the game ! Just like arcade in ow Fortnight is a fun game but far from a competitive game Games are all about gameplay not graphics if you got good gameplay don’t need good graphics!
nufc Khadaroo all of what you just said are the reasons I quit overwatch. *everybody constantly whines about gold dmg and elims *dont pretend that there’s a meta when you’re below diamond, which 80% of the playbase are *overwatch is a fun game by far from a competitive game *games are all about gameplay not graphics if you got good gameplay you don’t need hentai graphics Honestly if you haven’t played csgo or tf2 before you need to give those games a go. I loved ow before playing csgo and now I cannot stand it, especially not when it’s competitive even though the game design is casual
I have another reason why i don't like Fortnite: because Epic Games completely forgot about Unreal Tournament 4. After Fortnite's popularity will go away, i hope to see Epic Games (and maybe Cliff Bleszinski) work again on UT4
Mhm, it's both of these things. I tried Fortnite and i didn't liked it ( i find it quite overrated IMO), and i find UT4 has potential, but it hasn't been updated recently
I hate fortnite because a lot of people stop playing overwatch for fortnite, when they're two completely different games. If more people played both instead of sticking to one exclusively I honestly wouldn't mind it at all
It's sad to see all the Overwatch youtubers go. I once made a fortnight video and I lost a lot of subscribers because of it. I hope that Overwatch still has many years left before it's dead.
I don't like Fortnite cause I was really looking forward to the co-op zombie builder shooter and then they suddenly make it into pubg. I definitely feel betrayed... I'm just glad I didn't cave into my base desires and buy the pve version!
Joseph Giordano same. Just wanted to build some awesome forts without it being useless in 2 min when the storm comes or when I get killed building it by players. I wanna build a monster fort and fend off swarms of zombies with my friends.
I know exactly how you feel. I've been waiting patiently for months now and when save the world finally does come out for free I feel like it's going to be horrible because the devs only care about raking in as much cash as they can from the br mode
If anyone should feel upset about fortnite it's the people who put money into the pve mode which was the main game Epic basically just took their money and ran and never delivered the final product. Which under most legal systems is fraud.
Yes fornight is Killing overwatch all my Overwatch friends are on fornight overwatch ruined its game balance with the constant nerfs of tanks and supports.
Brigitte is a necessary hero becouse of dive i can see their point but nerfing dva, zen , tracer and genji was unnecessary espically becouse you made brigitee
More like blizzard killed the game with the inaccurate representation of comp play with the overwatch league and then having players deal with bs comp matches. All the while blizzard is making comments about how players can basically do what they want in comp and they wont take action on one tricks. Fact is people who did overwatch are going to fortnite yes for the views but also for the experience. Why play a game you love but doesn't make money and is also frustrating to play when you can play a game you love and makes you money oh and is fun. This is exactly why ive started playing overwatch casually now instead of caring about comp. Blizzard has shown no interest in a competative atmosphere outside of the overwatch league so why should i?
Feel the main problem was blizzard not wanting to choose whether Overwatch is casual or comp. It just can't be both or blizzard is unable to please both
Fortnite is a trend game just like League of Legends and Minecraft used to be. Unlike those games though, it lacks depth. You can literally win an entire game just by avoiding people and kill 1 player in the end. We can only hope it's popularity will decrease soon so we don't have to see it be mentioned everywhere.
I think the big difference you haven’t mentioned is that Fortnite is much more of a traditional fps. Although overwatch plays in an fps format, the game is more like LoL,Warcraft, and/or a fighting game. The people I know who moved on to fortnite used to play rainbow six and CoD. I have never been a huge fan of fps games, the character specific skill sets and team based gameplay are what drew me into overwatch and are why Fortnite really doesn’t appeal to me.
Ok guys, what mechanic in the game actually requires the third person view? There is no way to latch to cover. Is there any real platform gaming going on? The game is in third person purely out of aesthetics decisions, it plays exactly like any fps.
I really like fortnite as a chill game to play and relax. I exclusively play competitive. Quick play and arcade are frustrating. Both games lack a progression system, (in the traditional sense), and I really like that. Everyone has the same tools available to them at the beginning of each round no matter the amount of time or money you put in. Everything extra is cosmetic. I enjoy this because it isn't like a lot of games where if one person plays more than the other, it creates a huge gap in available resources. I fully understand liking either one more than the other and hope they both continue to be popular games.
Hey. You dont get a lot of comments and hope you will see this. Keep up the good work with overwatch videos. I’ve been playing since the beginning of ow, before season 1 started, been in all ranks just to see how people play and communicate (european server). I have 3 accounts all gm, hit top500 s9 with one only playing on the weekends. Just wanted to say you are THE ONLY overwatch youtuber worth watching. I wish all the viewers from ow central, your overwatch would watch your videos instead. Your advices on how and why things in ow ranked work the way they do are awesome. I really really wish you good luck and really hope people especially younger ones watch your videos. I havent watched all of your vids yet but if you havent talked about the importance of not giving up and giving 100% even if you think someone is throwing in your team, then maybe you could say something about that to people who try ranking up and fail cause in lower ranks at least in europe it is very commom for ppl to just give up if they see someone pick sym attack. Thank you for your vids and keep up the good job dude
Muselk makes Overwatch content on his 2nd channel MoreMuselk but you are right it's not like before because Overwatch doesn't have big Overwatch RU-vidrs anymore. Hype kills good games :/ And I'm 13 btw. and I love Overwatch it's a very good game but not any of my friends plays Overwatch because 1.They aren't players that pay Money for games they only play like Paladins Fortnite and H1Z1...2.They are the Hype gamer. Thanks if you still read this after the "I'm 13 because normally the guys say: Oh ok he is 13?He an idiot and isn't a gamer
Cupter yeah omg totally im a symmetra/DVA main and I need a mercy (or anyone really) to pocket me/duo queue. I just dropped like 100 sr because I was the only person playing tank or support 😰
Overwatch needs to fix their game to where 7 characters don’t dictate strength of field/pick rate. Until then, the exodus will continue. And I’ve never played fortnight and play 99% OW. But 7 characters dominating every game on both sides in GM/Top 500 is a mistake.
SLOW the problem with that is that there are a lot of nerfs, buffs patches , that are made because the pros and the top 500 find it op Some things are op at top 500 level but are fine like in gold silver even plat And the majority or the player base are either gold silver and plat So most of the patches are dedicated to the pros and literally don’t give a shit about anyone below that the don’t get the feedback
2 things I hate about Overwatch is, toxicity and matchmaking. Which I hope will change with role queue. But I do like the teamwork, ranking, and using my skill and strategy to win. 2 things I hate about Fortnite is, the luck aspect & no ranked. You have numerous matches with noobs & competitive players. In the 10 kills you get in a match, half of them maybe kill steals or noobs. That doesn't seem fair or fun. I do like that the games are always fresh, and it does take some skill in 1v1s. It's just not a good feeling to get shot in the back from someone else, while you're in a 1v1 build battle.
I mean when Muselk shifted to Overwatch from TF2 many people were angry but, I think, eventually got over it and I feel like Muselk feels the same may happen with overwatch after a few more months....I think.
The reason I personally don't like fortnite just comes down to the overall lower skill floor and ceiling? Here's the thing, i'm not the most competitive overwatch player by any stretch, however I am decently competitive enough, as I like games that have a definite skill floor and really good skill ceiling (I play a lot of fighting games as well fyi). With fortnite I really don't get much of that? As battle royale as a gamemode is flawed, in a sense that definite luck can triumph over skill in a good amount of cases. (Is there no skill in battle royale, no, there's still skill involved. My point however is that RNG can give you a wide enough advantage to win when you shouldn't have) That and the fanbase imo is kind of Aids
At least imo toxicity can be overcame by growing a pair, or just muting the person I dunno (At least when it comes in game, out of games different) Fortnite cringe is a little less avoidable in my experience :P (Neither are good however)
Toxicity is part of any competitive environment , online as well as real life. It is because people care so much , that people get tilted and become toxic. You won't get toxic in Fortnite simply because you aren't that invested in it. It's a casual game, you get killed? oh well only 1 person wins anyways, time for next game. Pew pew.
I watch a RU-vidr that got tired of the low skill high reward heroes so they switched to Fortnite. I see his point because Hanzo is so rediculous right now. I get fed up with that and the crappy team comps.
The problem with overwatch and even pubg as well is that they are not competitive enough to feel rewarding when you win, but they are also not casual enough to be extremely fun with friends. Fortnite itself wouldn’t have killed ow for me. But the combination of csgo and fortnite killed it. Csgo is the most competitive fps game out there period. Meanwhile fortnite is a master piece of a game to chill out on with friends and have some great fun.
Overwatch has a lot more depth than skill except the devs seem to be removing depth and skill with each new hero addition and game balancing update. Characters that have the high mechanical requirement should always have the highest impact because they cant just use aoe effects to spray and pray. Moira, Brigg, and Junk all knocked out their more mechanically demanding alternatives.
My issue with muselk isn't his switch but how he handled it. Like personally I think fortnite is boring to play, and even worse to watch, but I watched muselks fortnite content because of his personality. Unfortunately, he slowly phased out OW from his main channel and he's put out like 3 overwatch videos in the past few months. My issue though is how he handles it. even the other day tyrodin put out a video and muselk said "I stop playing overwatch for a few weeks". It's been more than weeks, even if not his new overwatch videos are few and far between and worse quality on a secondary channel. He never really communicated the full change of games on his main channel to his fans, and left the overwatch fans to feel like the money and views just matteredway more than the community he created, and when fortnite stops being popular I'm curious to see how many stick around. Muselk got me into the game and he left it for what's trendy. Respect the hustle but lost my views and my main channel sub
I literally stopped playing overwatch bc people don't know how to play overwatch(most of the time). That's the main reason why people are toxic, BC PEOPLE switch from PLAYING MARCY(just an example) for 6 damn seasons then finally decide, "hey let's try widow for once". If you're a console player you'd understand this bs.
Landon Vang Everyone can be toxic even Fortnite players especially because there’re 10 people left including them and then they die like how can you not be raging over that
I got bored of overwatch last year and when fortnite came out and I started playing it made me want to play overwatch again and now i just ignore fortnite
NUMBER ONE VICTORY ROAYLE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO What does victory royale even mean though. Why not just say victor. hmmmmm
JoeKing it's because I don't enjoy 3rd person shooters. I like FPS and if someone did FPS vs someone that had 3rd person the person that is playing FPS is highly at a disadvantage because they are unable to stand still and just see everything around a corner. Reason I like FPS more is because I like to feel like I am the character while playing them.
JoeKing Why did you nano boost twice a rienheart while he was stuck in a gravinon it makes no sense ! Ok if you did it once But you did it twice in the same game
Fortnite sucks because its so luck based. Basically everthing is luck. This is also the reason why fortnite esports will flop. You cant have a tournament with a 100 million dollar prize pool where the luckiest person wins. Also the developers are trash and are adding uneccessary items etc. I could go on for days about this. My point is, fortnite isnt an objectively good game. It just appeals to the casuals who have never played any other games in their life.
oddly enough, I barely think about Fortnite, outside of wanting to try out the original game about zombies and base building, whenever it gets to be a free game (which I don't even think will ever happen now). But I might pick the game up to play when it comes to Switch, since I think it'd be a fun distraction from Splatoon 2 from time to time.
fortnite is boring. it was the reason I unsubbed from Loserfruit. she switched to fortnite and all this dance stuff. I did say in a comment on one of her videos that she should make the videos that makes her happy, we would still be there to support her. But there is just so much of fortnite one can watch before you get really bored. so I unsubbed. And since I quit Overwatch, I also unsubbed from all the Overwatch channels I was subbed to. the game has very little interest for me anymore. I might return to it at some point, but not at the moment. my channel is transitioning into the MMO genre, gonna play more WoW and such, currently I'm playing through the Star Wars The Old Republic class stories while I wait for the BFA pre-patch to come out for World of Warcraft.
On Fortnite: Take a leap of faith and land in an area. You'll have a pretty intense minute or two while the first area clears out. If you are able to stand the victor of your initial landing spot, you move on and go for the win. If you die, you leave the game and you are in another game in less than a minute. Live and learn. On Overwatch: You take a leap of faith and hit the queue button. It takes less than 10 seconds on the hero selection screen to get a feel for how the game will work. DPS? Tanks? Healers? Anyways, the game starts and it's pretty intense for a minute or two. If your team is off to a good start with solid pushes, the game is generally going to be an enjoyable experience. Great. If your team doesn't do well, there is a chance that your team falls apart. Here comes the "toxic" environment. It really doesn't matter what you do at this point. At this point of the game, you have to continue losing over multiple rounds before the game is over. As defeat pops on your screen, you begin to reflect on the last 20 minutes of game play and question why you play. Then you have to take another leap of faith...
I'm not talking about the actual games per say. I'm talking about the gaming *experience* each game has to offer. I used "leap of faith" because it is something that actually happens in Fortnite at the start of a match. On the other hand, it is an expression that can be used to describe Overwatch. You know what you are getting yourself into on Fortnite because it works as it was designed. Overwatch was designed and advertised as a team based game. It offers a great experience if it is played in such manner and it is awful when it is not. Unfortunately in Overwatch, you have little control on what type of game you will get in, hence using the expression, leap of faith.
Is anyone else REALLY pissed that he uses different streamers and players for his background video, like wtf dude stop using other people content for your own gain, and use your background play

make a vid on why do TF2 players HATE OVERWATCH so MUCH!
... even though I kinda get bullied a bit because I don’t like Fortenite and I love Overwatch... but it is still my “heart game” I love it and everything is so well put together... #Overwatch4ever
I dont like it because the odds are too against you and from what I hear its easier to get blasted with shotguns and any other gun. I dont have any other complaints about the game. Before I played Overwatch, I used to be a COD player so I would shred people, just straight up rushing people all lone wolf mcquade. If fortnite could fix the gun issue which might never happen I may reconsider. But I'm mainly attracted to Overwatch for its variety of play styles, unique characters and personalities, and its aesthetics. The only game I really hold dear so far.
Ik im late but my best friend on ps we use to play all the time then he moved over to fortnite I moved there for a bit and didn't like the game so I came back but it sucks
Lol all my mates are gone to fortnite and baguette makes me wanna join em. It's pretty hard to just meet new people online btw I ain't got time to tinder for overwatch haha.
i don't like fortnite cuz it is way to easy to do good in this game. Is it just me, or is the Fortnite playerbase full of noobs that can't aim ? i played it a few times and got to Top10 every single game i played, there is no competition, just grab a gun and hide until the "End-game". I don't like games where the best strategy is to be a coward sissy.
I play both games, a lot. I resisted Fortnite until about a month ago. Now I love it. That being said, I feel that a lot of your comments and criticism of Fortnite are misinformed. Fortnite is really competitive and there are plenty of things to work towards. And it’s ok if it’s not your cup of tea. But you are misinformed.
“This game is dying,” says the Tracer main that doesn’t know how to deal with the new hero. Just because a few out of 40 million players of Overwatch stopped playing doesn’t mean the game is dying.
Dude. Have you not seen his posts about Brig being his second most played? Aren't you making assumptions here? He says something negative about his second most played hero and you call him a Tracer main as an insult?
Snork Ops ... well yeah you play alone. Overwatch is team based. And I actually enjoy working together with my team mates. And you do have the option to go with FFA if you are tired of it. And Fortenite is not competitive at all compared to Overwatch.
