I don't hate rich people. It is because they create many job opportunities and contribute in the economy of the country. They also spend money on CSR I.e, corporate social responsibility. Adani donated 60K crores on his 60th birthday. They have brain and will power and are hardworking so they earn money. Simple. And if that money is not through corruption etc. Then it is their right to spend the money how much they spend on their weeding, who are we to interfere in that?

💯 Whether its a 10,000 crore wedding or a 10 lakh wedding, or a 1 lakh wedding, labourers are paid the same rate. The bulk of that money goes in the pockets of already super rich designers, decorators, managers, etc. The effects of that are marginal or nothing for most of the economy. The more expensive the wedding, the more its needs are handled by corporate style clients (such as the flower decorations coming from factory farms, etc). This whole idea of trickle down doesn't work. If it did, there would be no poor person in USA. They brlieved in the lie of trickle down, allowed insane levels of wealth inequality. Turns out the spending of the rich only makes other rich people richer. The income of the 90%ile in the USA has gone up a staggering 300-400%, which the 20%ile income has stayed the same. Heck even 50% ile real income has barely budged in the past 40-50 years. This trickle down experiment has been tried, and has failed spectaculary in the most capitalist country in the world. No way it'll work in India.
