It's interesting that bukari was seventeen or so when his mother took him to travel in pursuit of narrations.He was born 194 A.H so this would make it approximately two hundred and twenty one or so years later to establish the "Sahih' hadith.The others such as Muslim came even later. Wouldn't God had mentioned it rather then to say he completed the religion or he has fully detailed everything.Perhaps God forgot to tell us that there would be someone in the future to come and explain what God "MEANT".God also mentions that we would see many contradictions in their narrations.Perhaps that's why there are so many mathabs each claiming being the rightly guided.

I grew up listening to Hadiths, I would be left at the mosque as a kid on weekends and all we did was memorize it in Arabic never once being taught to understand what I am memorizing. I finally read it 4 years ago and every Hadith i heard growing up is not mentioned in Quran. I discovered the truth and that scholars use and interpret Quran by using hadiths. You don’t need a scholar to guide you, there is no compulsion in religion. Our messengers first word first verse he heard was, “READ, IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD...” Allah is talking to YOU. So read Quran and discover the TRUTH.

Where do U see the word Shia Salafi or any of these sects of islam in the Quran. I don’t idolize Muhammad and I don’t follow what I hear or Hadiths that were written 300 years later after Muhammad and claim as the word of. God that is blasphemy And I don’t need a hadith to tell me how to bow down to my Creator and recite the words of Quran, people have been praying since the beginning of time. Should he die as a refugee far from home for Allah and his messenger , his reward becomes due and sure with Allah. The source of the so called sunnah you're referring to is the hadith literature which was compiled, 200+ years after the death of Prophet Muhammad, by persian scholars (not the companions of the Prophet). In all hadiths, it's the various personalities telling you that someone has probably heard Prophet Muhammad saying such and such, whereas in the Quran it's the direct word of Allah. You can't compare the two at all. If they hadn't compiled the hadith literature, what sunnah would have been left to follow? Would you have still considered the Quran to be an insufficient source of guidance?

I agree with this wholeheartidly. All of my questions were answered as they were raised in my mind, and i do believe this is a very difficult subject to talk about in a way such that people understand, but yet again you did it in an honestly awesomely manner. I can't even express it, it's just that good. One thing I have to stress of which you also said yourself, believing and following the character of the Prophet SAW is paramount to being a muslim, but followng hadiths blindly or applying them wrongly into situations by painting broad strokes or misunderstanding the moral behind the hadiths is in a sense only slightly less bad as disregarding them altogether. Also, there are writings that portray themselves as genuine hadiths, genuine accounts of the Prophet's character SAW, yet have been revealed to be very likely lies and/or conjectures. That's when we have to be critical as muslims too, and try to avert ourselves from putting into practice things which the Quran (and Islam) doesn't promote. The distinciton is this: If I know or have a strong indication that something genuinely comes from or is an account about the Prophet SAW and his character, that's when I abide by it wholeheartidly as a muslim, as Allah SWT himself described him, and he has been witnessed, as being the embodiment of the teachings of the Quran. Basically, a muslim wouldn't disagree with the Prophet SAW in his teachings and doings, given that they're from him. If I f.ex. stood in front of the Prophet SAW and he would tell me to do something, I would abide by it the same way I would abide by the things that are written in the Quran.

***** I agree with your sentiment. If a hadith doesn't make sense to me and, more importantly, if I find it to be from a bad source, I'll discard it. However I won't rule all of the hadiths out necassarily, source criticism is key and using common sense, thinking as the Quran bids us to do, is th key to have a balanced understanding with or without hadith. You're right though, I have to be wary of bad hadith that can constrict my understanding of the breadth of wonder that is Islam.

To reject sunna is rejecting the prophet pbuhm
@cihanfatihi
@cihanfatihi 5 лет назад
@@yahya2925 Salam alaikum, I found some good examples and I'm thankful for them. I also found some errors and would like to highlight them to make them right. Let me explain: 2:00 Ashab said sentences like this "Is that you saying it or is that Qur'an?" to prophet for example in Ghazwatul Badr a Sahaba (Hubbab bin Munzir) suggested to prophet to encamp to somewhere else after he asked to prophet this question. This Sahaba fought by Prophet Muhammed (saw). He wasn't a munafiq. He thought Prophet's decision of encampment was mistaken if that decision was belong to Prophet himself. So he asked to prophet "Is this your decision or a divine revelation?". Prophet said that it is his decision then this Sahaba suggested to encamp somewhere else then Prophet listened this Sahaba's decision and encamped as he suggested. 2:28 in Surah an-Nisa ayat 150 Nouman Ali Khan make a few mistakes. First he reads the ayat wrong. He says "يُفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ اللّٰهِ وَراسوليه" (Yufarriqune beyne Allahi ve Rasulihi) but ayat is not like he read instead Allah says "يُفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ اللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِه۪" (Yufarriqune beyne Allahi ve rusulihi). Nouman Ali Khan claims that Allah forbids to separate between Allah and Muhammad (saw) but in the ayat Allah forbids to accept some of his messengers and refuse some of them and separate some of prophets from Allah. Allah says (rusulihi) which is plural of prophet but Nouman Ali Khan says (Rasulihi) which means Prophet of Allah and Nouman says this is prophet Muhammad (saw) but he changed this ayat, Subhanallah! May Allah forgive him. And this ayat is not about accepting prophet Muhammed's (saw) hadiths this ayat is about accepting some of prophets and refusing some of other prophets. 3:54 Nouman Ali Khan mention Surah an-Nisa, ayat 65 and then he says "They have no faith. We haven't been told who these people are, yet." but he cut this ayat from context of a group of ayats, so if we start to read from ayat 59 we would see that some people say that they believe to Muhammad (saw) and then they obey to other authorities whom commands things opposite of Qur'an and these people come to prophet and say "We wanted good only." but bad things happened to them because they didn't obeyed to Allah but obeyed to other authorities. After all these context Allah says "They have to take you as an authority and obey you without doubt or they have no faith." In ayat 59 Allah commands muslims to obey to Allah, his Prophet and legal authorities who doesn't contradict with Allah. In the time of Muhammad (saw) the legal authority was Muhammed (saw) but now, in our time he passed away and we can not follow Muhammad (saw) as a living authority but we can follow legal authorities among us as mentioned in ayat 59. So ayat 65 was about that specific time of prophet Muhammad (saw) and that specific people who disobeyed to Allah and his prophet and legal authorities whom obeyed to illegal authorities. Ayat 65 doesn't command us to follow Hadiths. This ayat mentions about these specific people in those times not all people in all times. 9:14 He mentions Surah al-Qalem, ayat 4 and he tries to show this ayat as Prophet Muhammad's (saw) proof of his prophesying. But if you read the ayat before you will see that Allah says Muhammad (saw) will gain endless rewards because of his good character. And Allah doesn't say anything about Muhammad's (saw) character to prove his prophesying. So Allah doesn't say character of the Muhammad (saw) is the proof of the Qur'an. 11:55 He says ashab can't separate Qur'an and words of Muhammad (saw) then 4 minutes later he says 16:00 he says Muhammad's (saw) speech pattern was different than Qur'an. People would separate Qur'an and words of Muhammad (saw). He contradict with himself. 17:53 He says Qur'an and Sunnah narrated from the same people. But the difference is when enemies of Islam tried to add ayats to Qur'an they have failed because of Allah's protection but when enemies of Islam or even some Muslims tried to add sentences to Hadiths they have managed to do that. We can find a lot of contradictions between hadiths in the same book or between other hadith books. Qur'an has been memorized by a lot of companions but hadiths weren't memorized like Qur'an. You can't compare these two as equals. Qur'an was recited to everyone but some hadiths were only for some specific companions. Thank you for your time. All mistakes I've made are because of my imperfection and all correct things are from wisdom of Allah. May Allah forgive me and all of us inshallah.

Brother Nouman, The Quranic argument is actually taken out of context. If we go back to ayah 60 we read: أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوا إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوا أَن يَكْفُرُوا بِهِ Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it Here the verb يَتَحَاكَمُوا is used in this context حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ is an address not to all believers ( who obey the Allah SWT and his Prophet SAW ) but to those that were taking legislation from taghut. Note: hadith is affirmed by the Quran. Hadith can never interpret or limit the understanding of the Quran which is perfect.

For the record that verse that you so happened to pluck out, it’s actually not talking about what yall think, but you’d have to study Arabic to understand what I’m talking about. Not modern colloquial Arabic but fus-ha (Classical Arabic) as the same words mean different things dependent on the context. So first and foremost study the Quran and read it’s proper explanations (science of tafsir) and study them, not take translations off an app or google, and then actually study the science of Hadith. You’ll be amazed at how much of your religion is actually based off of ahadith as allah told us to follow the sunnah of the prophet. The Quran doesn’t go into detail in much like how do we know the prophets wives names etc. So my advice to all of you brothers n sisters is to actually study the sciences of the Quran and ahaadith and your queries will be answered

It's very simple brothers. He quotes verse 4:65 which is one of the most abused verses of the Qur'an. If you start reading from verse 60, you can easily see that it's referring to the hypocrits who were still seeking judgement from their false dieties (Taghoot). And Allah obviously is responding by saying they (munafikeen) can have no faith until they make the prophet Muhammad (as) a judge in their disputes. The arabic word used in verse 65 is 'yuhakkimooka' which comes from the root 'Ha Kaf Meem' and has the following meanings in arabic: To refrain from, exercise authority, command, judge, give judgement, be wise. It's no coincidence that in the SAME chapter, Allah says in verse 105: Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book (Alkitaab) in truth so you may judge (litahkuma) between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate. The word 'litahkuma' shares the SAME root as the word 'yuhakkimooka' in verse 65! Therefore, the prophet Muhammad (as) ONLY JUDGED by what was revealed to him from THE BOOK!! The Qur'an also says in verse 2:213: Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets (annabiyeena) as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture (alKitaab) in truth to judge (liyahkuma) between the people concerning that in which they differed. Is Muhammad (as) excluded from the above Verse?? I don't think so and the following verse seals the deal: [Say], "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge (hakaman) while it is He who has revealed to you the Book (alkitaab) [i.e., the Qur’ān] explained in detail?" And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters. {6:114} What more needs to be said brothers?? But if you want to continue following your Lawlal-Hadeeth then be my guest. I'll stick with Ahsanal-Hadeeth (Qur'an 39:23). Peace

Reliable narrators ? Those who divided Islam. Those who narrated stories. Are narrations still the same 250 years after ? Why no Arabs collected so many thousands of narrations, but a persians and btw almost all hadiths collectors were from persia. Quran 6:141 ....Eat of its fruit when it yields and give its due [zakah] on the day of its harvest. Abu Dawood (1572) narrated from ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “If you have two hundred dirhams and one full year has passed, then five dirhams are due on them. You do not have to pay anything - i.e. on gold -- unless you have twenty dinars; if you have twenty dinars and one full year has passed, then half a dinar is due on them, and if the number increases then work it out on this basis.” The Quran asks the Muslims to give zakat ON THE DAY OF THE HARVEST ( the day one receives his income ), but the followers of Mr bukhari holds the Zakaat, holds it from the poor for a whole year, then gives the poor ONLY 2.5% of the income. This is how Islam is destroyed Mr Nouman. Think of difference that this makes between following Allah and following Mr bukhari. Could be I am wrong, BUT I prefer be someone who gives Zakaat every time I earn my income than hold it for a year. What if the narrator was wrong ? what would I tell Allah on Judgement DAY ? A trusted narration that bukhari qualified as SAHIH : Volume 5, Book 58, Number 188 : Narrated by 'Amr bin Maimun During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them. Was monkeys marrying at that time ? Did the hadith of stoning existed at that time ? Were the monkeys muslims or jews ? Is it allowed for a human to stone monkeys ? Was Mr 'Amr bin Maimun imitating monkeys or following their religion ? BUKHARI HADITH: Volume 1, Book 6, Number 298: Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Itikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses). Comment: Please compare this to the Quranic surah: 002:222 "And they ask you about menstruation. Say: It is a discomfort; therefore keep aloof from the women during the menstrual discharge and do not go near them until they have become clean; then when they have cleansed themselves, go in to them as Allah has commanded you; surely Allah loves those who turn much (to Him), and He loves those who purify themselves." Volume 7, Book 62, Number 31: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Evil omen was mentioned before the Prophet: The Prophet said, "If there is evil omen in anything, it is in the house, the woman and the horse." Volume 7, Book 62, Number 32: Narrated Sahl bin Sad: Allah's Apostle said, "If at all there is bad omen, it is in the horse, the woman, and the house." Reliable narrators that will guide people to HELL. Are these words of the prophet ? 69:40 This is the speech of an honourable Messenger, not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand; Then We would have cut from him the aorta. Are these hadith complementary with the Holy Quran ? are these types of stories we need to understand the Quran ? Stop being biased by the saytan, be safe, follow the Quran. 77:50 In what discourse (Hadith ) after this (Qur'an) will they, then, believe? 43:43 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way. 46:9 Tell them: “I am not the first of the Messengers; and I do not know what shall be done with me or with you. I follow only what is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.”

Ali Ismael Nothing in those hadiths and acts of Prophet against Quran or degradation to Prophet's status!! "Stay Away from menstruating women" means "to abstain from sex" -- this is the understanding that we get when we learn Prophet's life and actions - if you take such literal meanings of the Quran yourself then take such meanings here too - 1) [The believers are] those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Gospel, commanding them to do right and forbidding them to do wrong, making good things lawful for them and bad things forbidden for them, relieving them of their heavy loads and the chains that were around them. Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the Light that has been sent down with him are successful. (Surat al-A`raf: 157) 2) Say: "If you love Allah, then follow me and Allah will love you and forgive your sins." (Surah Al `Imran: 31) . . . . Hehehehe.....those Quranites jump off the hills after reading these verses - REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO TAKE DIRECT MEANING OF QURAN , no "but" no "if" no "it actually means" and no rubbish at all!! Take one more :- 3) Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers. NOwhere did the Quran say here to follow the revelation or the Quranic verses - its a direct order to do whatever the Prophet is saying!! . . . . And you Quranites do not use other Ayats of the Quran to propagate your foolish agenda -- otherwise we will use your own methodoly of referring to different Quran ayats and then taking meaning and show you 100 contradictions in the Quran and make you accept that as Quran has contradiction its not a word of God and you will have to accept openly that u are not a muslim (while until now you are hypocrites)

The Quran is the only thing needed. Anything else is superstition and quite frankly useless. If you believe that the Quran is the word of God and God says that this book is fully detailed and complete who are you to deny that? All hadith followers argue the same thing which is that the Quran is not complete! Do you realize that you are calling God a liar when you say ignorant statements like that? If you agree with the assumption that the only book who is flawless is qu'ran, that we are the only community who can actually follow God because we have an untouched book, so why is God talking about our predecessors who followed his words without a book??? Ppl who where following words of others messengers, wich passed trough the centuries?? Before the Holly book there wasn't any protected book!! Just texts compiled as Ahadith!! There is nothing more accurate in the historical compilation than Ahadith!! Go study it before talking nonsense!!! The Bible isn't at all compiled the same way. Rejecting mutawatir???? Foolish! It is even more accurate than the story of Napoleon Waterloo Battle. This people are defending the supreme incoherence. The Book AND the path of the messenger are the revelation. They are indivisible. If you can't trust in the Ahadith, you can't trust in qu'ran. It was the same ppl who passed it. Moreover Without the Sunnah, you are in fact applying your own ijtihad on the Qu'ran. There is NO Qu'ran only. It is either your brain or the perfect exemple of Muhammad sws You prefer your understanding than the one that the prophet gives us. Even if there is a minor chance to get something wrong from reading Qu'ran and Ahadith, you multiply it by reading it just with your reason. Use your logic.

I think, if we spend our time for 30-35 years of learning Quran only, read from start to finish, just spend 15 minutes of everyday life, then we will understand the fundamental teaching of Quran like crystal clear. Although we cannot 100% understand everything in Quran, but at least we'll understand fundamental of Quranic teaching. To understand the Quran, the clue is, we familiarize with all ayah and its context (because one ayah usually related to before or after that ayah). Since Allah promise that there is no contradiction in Quran, so then, one way to understand the Quran is by using "contradiction proof", the idea is, if we found there is contradiction, then it must be our understanding is wrong. Regarding the hadith, I see this book is problematic because some of them are true and some of them are false. However, it is more problematic because some of muslims think that 'rejecting hadith means leaving Islam (murtad)', this is really nonsense... Now, in my understanding, I consider hadith book just like the bible today: you can't 100% be sure if it is true or false. The question now is: "are we rejecting bible that still exist today?" That's a tricky question, if we say reject this bible, then, it against Quran teaching (because Quran confirm the injeel), but if we accept bible, then we know there's something wrong in it. So, again.. it's problematic. I think the best response to hadith is: I believe prophet had spoke something (hadith) to his followers and he explained Quran to them, so logically, those hadith won't be contradict Quran. But if we hear some hadith that we think it contradict Quran, then we will reject it. It is similar as muslim to response bible (we can't totally reject it or fully accept it).

Salam, I actually really disagree with this interpretation. In fact, here are direct quotes from the Quran which I believe directly disavow the validity of any “hadith” coming after it. أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْتَغِي حَكَمًا وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكِتَابَ مُفَصَّلًا Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail? … These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement (hadith) after Allah and His verses will they believe? (45:6) فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ Then in what statement after it (the Qur’an) will they believe? What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? Or do you have a book / scripture in which you learn that indeed for you in it is whatever you choose? (68:36-38) اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ … Allah has sent down the best statement (ahsan hadith): a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. … And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled / completed in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Book (Quran) a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. (6:38) … وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ … And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is they who are the disbelievers (kafirun). (5:44 part) To imply that we need the hadith to understand the Quran is to imply that the Quran itself is either incomplete, imperfect, or requiring further supplementation, which is the most anti-muslim sentiment one can have. It is clear that the Quran contains everything within it for one to be a Muslim, and to obtain the blessing of Allah in this life and in the next. The simple fact that there are “weak hadith” and “strong hadith” should be evidence enough that the entire concept is weak. There are no “weak” Surah or Ayah in the Quran. The Quran is completely strong. By dogmatically adhering to the hadith and claiming it as a holy text with religious authority, we are falling into the same traps that the pre-islamic religions fell into, such as idol worship, or intentionally disregarding the true message of God. For this reason, the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was given the message of God, to give the people the uncorrupted truth. Anything after his revelations is deviating from this. If Allah, who is all wise, all knowing, and all powerful, had wanted us to do any of the things instructed in the hadith, he would have revealed them to the prophet and it would be in the Quran. The Quran is PERFECT and complete, and to suggest anything other than that by implying that hadith is necessary to understand the Quran or to be a Muslim, is actually a very anti-islamic sentiment, and goes directly against what is given to us in the Quran. This is just my humble opinion that I have reached after reading the Quran.

I agree, God claims the Quran itself is a guidance, so when Muslims follow Hadith, the prayer they do daily (4 zakat), where is it in the Quran? God says the Quran is complete and is a guidance, why is this Islamic teaching not in the Quran? The second they go out of the Quran, their actions say that the Quran is incomplete...so how can a hadith Muslim go to heaven if he is against God's own words?🔥

shovon100 for your information it seems you don't understand hadith lol. The hadith does say how to pray, make ruku, make sajdah for example. The Quran says you must obey God and the Messenger, therefore as a Muslim you have an obligation to believe in authentic hadith. Why some people just don't believe in hadith is simple, because they don't appreciate what the messenger of allah has to say and don't wanna seek knowledge about the deen, i'm sorry if it sounds offensive but you can't really provide any proof saying why hadith are not important, instead u just make subjective statements based on what you want to believe

I am not saying all sahih Hadith books are false or I am not saying all sahih hadith books are 100% accurate similar to Quran's accuracy. I think, there are many many hadith from sahih bukhari that contradicts with quran, have lack of logic, and have errors on concepts. I can quote them to me, Quran is a spectacle. if we see anything through Quran, it will be clear to us whether it is right or wrong. I prefer to see these hadith book as historical information on prophet. if it is correlated with Quran, it is acceptable and may help understanding quran and implement it. if it has contradiction with quran, or logic less/has errors, I prefer to filter it out. Calling the sayings of the prophet pbuh as 'historical' is also dangerous, there are many things that the prophet pbuh states which Quran doesn't state, for example the dajjal, Mahdi, how would we know about these two coming individuals without the prophet's pbuh authentic sayings? Your whole understanding of Islam is based of off aHadith even praying. It all exists in the Quran. The Hadith is what corrupts Islam just like the other religions before it. Islam’s weak point is ahadiths the Quran alone is enough, impenetrable and complete alhamdulila and everything is in it from praying to wuudhu ever single thing that we need to know and follow is all in the Quran. Just like Christianity and Judaism where changed and the books rewritten and manipulated, Islam has been corrupted too but not the Quran Allah has kept it safe. The Quran is untouchable but not the Hadith. Only ahadith one should listen to or follow is the ones that have a basis in the Quran. For example we must never use Hadith as a judgement of halal or haram and etc. that we must use the Quran alone for. In the end of the day I turn only to the Quran for guidance while the most of the Muslims unfortunately turn to almost all kind of other sources like “scholars” whom almost all of them have different opinions, and ahadith which almost all of have different versions and opinions on. WHILE THE QURAN ONLY HAS ONE☝🏻. Think again my friend and open your mind and leave your ego behind, and you’ll see how much you have been influenced by cultural and paganism from other religions in ahadiths and the Islam your following is almost not the real one intended for us. All you need is in the Quran read it and use your own logical judgement and see for yourself the truth

Soon after Muhammad’s death, thousands of hadiths (words attributed to Muhammad) were fabricated and two centuries later collected, and centuries later compiled and written in the so-called “authentic” hadith books: to support the teaching of a particular sect against another (such as, what nullifies ablution; which sea food is prohibited); to flatter or justify the authority and practice of a particular king against dissidents (such as, Mahdy and Dajjal); to promote the interest of a particular tribe or family (such as, favoring the Quraysh tribe or Muhammad’s family); to justify sexual abuse and misogyny (such as, Aisha’s age; barring women from leading Sala prayers); to justify violence, oppression and tyranny (such as, torturing members of Urayna and Uqayla tribes; massacring the Jewish population in Medina; assassinating a female poet for her critical poems); to exhort more rituals and righteousness (such as, nawafil prayers); to validate superstitions (such as, magic; worshiping the black stone near the Kaba); to prohibit certain things and actions (such as, prohibiting drawing animal and human figures; playing musical instruments; chess); to import Jewish and Christian beliefs and practices (such as, death by stoning; circumcision; head scarf; hermitism; rosary); to resurrect pre-Islamic beliefs and practices common among Meccans (such as, intercession; slavery; tribalism; misogyny); to please crowds with stories (such as the story of Miraj (ascension to heaven) and bargaining for prayers); to idolize Muhammad and claim his superiority to other messengers (such as, numerous miracles, including splitting the moon); to defend hadith fabrications against monotheists (such as, condemning those who find the Quran alone sufficient); and even to advertise products of a particular farm (such as, the benefits of dates grown in a town called Ajwa). In addition to the above mentioned reasons, many hadith were fabricated to explain the meaning of the “difficult” Quranic words or phrases, or to distort the meaning of verses that contradicted the fabricated hadith, or to provide trivial information not mentioned in the Quran (such as, Saqar, 2:187; 8:35…). When people did not find those frivolous or unnecessary details in the Quran, the propagandists of Sunni or Shiite religions would present them with hadith and sectarian jurisprudence as an explanation, complement, or supplement to the Quran. Thus, God’s protected word was deemed to be in need of the unprotected lies and false claims fabricated by ignorant people. God’s system was turned into a religion of limited partners. We cannot disregard God’s frequent assertion that the Quran is sufficiently detailed, complete, clear, and easy to understand. What do you think about the verse 12:111? “In their stories is a lesson for the people of intelligence. It is not a hadith that was invented, but an authentication of what is already present, a detailing of all things, and a guidance and mercy to a people who acknowledge.” Or, what about 17:46? “When you preach your Lord, in the Quran ALONE, they run away with aversion.”

Only God guides Call only people to God and leave the rest in God's hands!! [Quran 17:89] We have cited for the people in this Quran all kinds of examples, but most people insist upon disbelieving. [Quran 18:54] We have cited in this Quran every kind of example, but the human being is the most argumentative creature. [Quran 30:58] Thus, we have cited for the people in this Quran all kinds of examples. Yet, no matter what kind of proof you present to the disbelievers, they say, 'You are falsifiers.' [Quran 39:27] We have cited for the people every kind of example in this Quran, that they may take heed. [Quran 39:29] God cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same? Praise be to God; most of them do not know. [Quran 17:45-46] When you read Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter an invisble barrier. And we place shields on their hearts to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears; and when you preach your Lord Alone in the Quran Alone they run away in aversion. 40:11. They will say, “Our Lord, you made us die twice, and twice you gave us life. Now we acknowledge our sins. Is there any way out?” 40:12. That is because when God alone was called upon, you disbelieved; but when others were associated with Him, you believed. Judgment rests with God the Sublime, the Majestic. 40:83. When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they rejoiced in the knowledge they had, and the very things they used to ridicule besieged them. 40:84. Then, when they witnessed Our might, they said, “We believe in God alone, and we reject what we used to associate with Him.” 40:85. But their faith could not help them once they witnessed Our might. This has been God’s way of dealing with His servants. And there and then the disbelievers lost. The sole duty of all messengers of God ...Nothing more nothing less !! We never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that: “There is no god but I, so worship Me.” And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken to himself a son.” Be He glorified; they are but honored servants. They never speak before He has spoken, and they only act on His command. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them; and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves; and they tremble in awe of Him. And whoever of them says, “I am a god besides Him,” We will reward him with Hell. Thus We reward the wrongdoers.21:25.26.27.28.29 16:35. The idolaters say, “Had God willed, we would not have worshiped anything besides Him, neither us, nor our ancestors, nor would we have prohibited anything besides His prohibitions.” Those before them did likewise. Are the messengers responsible for anything but clear communication? 16:82. But if they turn away, your only duty is clear communication. 24:54. Say, “Obey God and obey the Messenger.” But if they turn away, then he is responsible for his obligations, and you are responsible for your obligations. And if you obey him, you will be guided. It is only incumbent on the Messenger to deliver the Clarifying Message. 29:8. If you disbelieve, communities before you have also disbelieved. The Messenger is only responsible for clear transmission. 36:17. And our only duty is clear communication. 64:12. So obey God, and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away it is only incumbent on Our Messenger to deliver the clear message. 42:48.48. But if they turn away We did not send you as a guardian over them. Your only duty is communication. 13:40. Whether We show you some of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die your duty is to inform, and Ours is the reckoning. 13:42. Those before them planned, but the entire plan is up to God. He knows what every soul earns. Those who disbelieve will know to whom the Ultimate Home is. 13:43. Those who disbelieve say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, “God is a sufficient witness between me and you, and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.” Praise be to God .

God called on the believers to follow only His Hadith, the Quran, and so did Prophet Muhammad, as he was prohibited from saying any other statement other than what God revealed to him in the Quran. Therefore, with respect to you Mr Nouman, I apologize that I couldn't agree with you when you said that "you cannot separate these two entities", that the Prophet's personal words and God's revelation are intertwined together. This encourages the propagation that Hadith books written by humans are valid. To me, they are from two different sources. Quran is from God and the Hadith books are fabricated by His creations. As you said it yourself, you can tell when someone is speaking for himself or copying others; just like when you read the Quran and when you read the Hadith books. If you analyze it carefully, you will definitely notice the distinct difference in content, since the substantive information is in contrast to its actual manner of presentation. God willing. I seek refuge in God from Satan the damned. In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Most of them follow nothing but assumptions; and assumptions avail nothing against the truth. God is fully aware of what they do. (Quran 10:36) Say, "I am not different from the other messengers; and I do not know what will be done with me, or with you. I only follow what is inspired in me, and I am only a clear warner." (Quran 46:9) And when Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, "Bring a Quran other than this, or change it." Say, "It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the torment of a terrible Day." (Quran 10:15) Some verses examples: God has sent down the BEST of narrations: a Scripture consistent and paired. The skins of those who reverence their Lord shiver from it, then their skins and their hearts soften up to the remembrance of God. Such is God's guidance; He guides with it whomever He wills. But whomever God leaves astray, for him there is no guide. (Quran 39:23) Have they not observed the government of the heavens and the earth, and all the things that God created, and that their time may have drawn near? Which message, besides this, will they believe in? (Quran 7:185) Among the people is he who trades in distracting tales; intending, without knowledge, to lead away from God's way, and to make a mockery of it. These will have a humiliating punishment. (Quran 31:6) Most of them follow nothing but assumptions; and assumptions avail nothing against the truth. God is fully aware of what they do. (Quran 10:36) These are God's Verses which We recite to you in truth. In which message, after God and His revelations, will they believe? (Quran 45:6) So let them produce a discourse like it, if they are truthful. (Quran 52:34) So leave Me to those who reject this discourse; We will proceed against them gradually, from where they do not know. (Quran 68:44) And when Our Verses are recited to him, he turns away in pride, as though he did not hear them, as though there is deafness in his ears. So inform him of a painful punishment. (Quran 31:7) Or do you have a scripture in which you study. (Quran 68:37) In what message, beyond this, will they believe? (Quran 77:50) God cites the example of a man shared by partners at odds, and a man belonging exclusively to one man. Are they equal in status? Praise be to God, but most of them do not know. (Quran 39:29) Those who prohibit what God never did in the Quran, will be surprised on Resurrection Day when the messenger of God WILL complain to Him about them: And the Messenger will say, "My Lord, my people have abandoned this Quran." (Quran 25:30) And God has reminded those who are unsure on how to deal with polytheists and hypocrites who follow other laws not authorized by God: What is the matter with you, divided into two factions regarding the hypocrites, when God Himself has condemned them on account of what they did? Do you want to guide those whom God has led astray? Whomever God leads astray-you will never find for him a way. (Quran 4:88) It was not easy for Muslims to decide how to deal with such people who called themselves "Muslims" but they were actually mushriks and hypocrites. Some were of the opinion that since they professed Islam, performed prayers, fasted and recited the Quran, they could not be treated as unbelievers. Here God pronounces His judgement on this issue. I'm sorry that I need to let you know my take on this. I admire your wonderful efforts in promoting Islam, you're a kind intellectual who have such a beautiful personality and you're still on my top list of lecturers. ☝☕🍰 May the Almighty pardon us, bless us, and guide us all. What happens when we stop believing the fairy tales named "hadiths" ? The so called "scholars" lose their academic advantage. A Muslim only has to read the Quran. He does not need to read the thousand of insanities contained in the hadiths books.

***** Assalammualaikum. Thank you for your time responding to my comments. I appreciate it, but in accordance to verified facts, I have to disagree with you. First of all, how could you say that I'm rejecting the Quran when the Quran is my ONLY source of guidance? It doesn't make sense at all and it's a little too much to compare me to "an extremist beyond that of ISIS" don't you think? To me, that is totally uncalled for. Perhaps you have not thoroughly read the Quran to comprehensively get what is really in it. You mentioned that "Sunnah denialists would cut off the hands of children for stealing candy, beat their wives mercilessly and divide Islam into thousands if not millions of sects because no two people would agree to the same rituals in terms of performance, amount of Zakat and call of prayer... "? May I ask, where did you get those lies from? Please quote me the relevant verses in the Quran for your false claims. I'm confident that you will not find any. In fact the Quran forbids abuse, oppression, and divisions in Islam, and have specified clearly the meaning of zakat and how to perform the prayer WITHOUT the need of Hadith books. It's highly likely that you've read all those despicable instructions from the Hadith books, and NOT from the Quran. I could elaborate on all of these false claims that you've made but unfortunately it will take too much of my time. Anyway, may I ask you another question; If you claimed that there is such thing as "Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad", where are the Sunnahs for the rest of God's Prophets? God says that "We make NO DISTINCTION between any of them." Say, "We believe in God, and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit." (Quran 3:84) Anyway, please understand this verse below since Prophet Muhammad had been warned not to include his own sayings, practice (Sunnah) in any of his teachings; "It (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the universe. Had he (Muhammad) uttered any other teachings, We would have grabbed him by the right, and We would have severed his Wateen (Major artery of the heart), none of you could have helped him." (Quran 69:43-47) Those who insist that the prophet left us a second source of religious law (Hadith) are either accusing Prophet Muhammad of disobeying God's commands as in 69:43-47, or do not really understand the Quran. Everyone knows that all of God's Prophets were Muslims, so if there is such thing as "Sunnah", they should have their own Sunnahs as well don't you think? To make the issue indisputable, God asserts in the Quran that the only "Sunnah" is the Sunnah of God. Nowhere in the Quran is there any mention of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad. "You will find that the Sunnah of God is the only Sunnah". (Quran 33:62....35:43.....48:23) As in the case of DIVISION in Islam. God says; Do not be of the idolaters. Of those who divided their religion, and became sects; each faction pleased with what they have. (Quran 30:31-32) They broke up into sects only after knowledge came to them, out of resentment among themselves. Were it not for a predetermined decision from your Lord, judgment would have been pronounced between them. (Quran 42:14) As for those who divided their religion and became sects-you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with God; then He will inform them of what they used to do. (Quran 6:159) And hold fast to the rope of God, altogether, and do not become divided. And remember God's blessings upon you; how you were enemies, and He reconciled your hearts, and by His grace you became brethren. And you were on the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it. God thus clarifies His revelations for you, so that you may be guided. (Quran 3:103) As you can see, Quran condemns all sects. All sects in Islam, whether Sunni, Shias, Ahmaddis, Ismailli......etc have disagreements about Hadith and Sunnah attributed to Prophet Muhammad. However, these same sects have no disagreements about the Quran. It is the sources of religious laws, stories, conjectures, etc. outside the Quran which have created these sects. The different versions/conjectures of these Hadith books are the ones that gave rise to sects. Because the majority of the Muslims follow conjecture (Hadith and Sunnah) instead of Quran Alone (Quran 17:46) as our Creator has commanded, the "Muslims" are divided into sects. These sects are there because of differences and disagreements on Hadith rather than disagreements over the Quran. Wassalam

Assalammualikum dear brother. You said that "Sunnah is but a term, it means the way/method of someone in doing something. But do enlighten me as to what the following terms refer to: ALLAH says; "And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Knowing of all things." [2:231] ALLAH mentioned two things being revealed here: 1) The book. 2) The wisdom. There are many verses that mention these two entities: The book and wisdom. So my question is, what does He mean by "Wisdom"? Any idea?" Here I'm going to answer that question for you, perhaps God willing, there'll be a little more understanding in regards to the meaning of the word "Wisdom" in (Quran verse 2:231) which you've inquired. As anyone would know, ALL Messengers of God are Blessed with WISDOM. All prophets have a high calling indeed as God’s Messengers, but with that comes an even higher responsibility. There is more to it than just speaking the word God has revealed to them. Here are some examples of wisdom given to them: (Prophet Muhammad) Our Lord, and raise up among them a messenger, of themselves, who will recite to them Your revelations, and teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. You are the Almighty, the Wise." (Quran 2:129) Just as We sent to you a messenger from among you, who recites Our revelations to you, and purifies you, and teaches you the Book and wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know. (Quran 2:151) And remember God's favor to you, and that He revealed to you the Scripture and wisdom to teach you. And fear God, and know that God is aware of everything. (Quran 2:231) (Prophet Jesus) When Jesus came with the clarifications, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify for you some of what you differ about. So fear God, and obey me. God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him-this is a straight path." (Quran 43:63-64) (Prophet Joseph) When he reached his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. We thus reward the righteous. (Quran 12:22) (Prophet Lot) And Lot-We gave him judgment and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations. They were wicked and perverted people. (Quran 21:74) (Prophet Moses) And when he reached his maturity, and became established, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. Thus do We reward the virtuous. (Quran 28:14) (Prophet David) And We strengthened his kingdom, and gave him wisdom and decisive speech. (Quran 38:20) God sent many prophets and messengers to different people and at different times. There are only a few whose names are mentioned in the Quran but they were all blessed with Wisdom. And a verse for all of us; God says, "He gives wisdom to whomever He wills. Whoever is given wisdom has been given much good. But none pays heed except those with insight." (Quran 2:269) Indeed, not only messengers and prophets of God are blessed with Wisdom, we are also given the chance to grab this wisdom if we seek for it sincerely, correctly and wholeheartedly. We can see this very principle by reading the facts clearly written in the Holy Al-Quran. Therefore Quran equates knowledge and wisdom with righteousness. A truly knowledgeable person cannot fail to be a believer and a True believer is led to be a wise person. A fundamental duty of all Muslims is that they strive for knowledge and they be examples of the faith they practice. A truly knowledgeable person is bound to be righteous and a righteous becomes knowledgeable by virtue of his/her purity. Knowledge and wisdom comes from God Alone. A human is given inherent knowledge that can be retrieved if the 'nature' remains purer. If it gets corrupted, it fails in its capacity to sense and receive God’s Guidance. Acquired information is not knowledge: how information is sorted and viewed depends on one’s wisdom that in turn comes from God. The purer this 'nature' remains, the more forceful the connection with God to receive His Guidance to acquire knowledge and wisdom. The Quran unequivocally asserts that there is nothing fundamentally new that is revealed to Prophet Muhammad that was not revealed to all other prophets before. Therefore there shouldn't be any "Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad" if there's no Sunnah for the rest of God's Prophets. God says; Nothing is said to you but was said to the Messengers before you: your Lord is Possessor of Forgiveness, and Possessor of Painful Repayment. (Quran 41:43) This is an extremely important proclamation. It essentially conveys that the fundamental ideas and teachings have remained the same throughout human history. Different religions, different dogmas, different sects, different schools of thoughts, etc. have all emerged because human beings have failed to stay with the main Message of God. The differences appeared because man has changed God’s words. The Book says all the prophets and their people (mankind) belong to one brotherhood. This nation of yours is one nation, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. But they tore themselves into sects; each party happy with what they have. (Quran 23:52-53) Therefore, Quran condemns human tendency to break up unity, create dissension and establish different sects out of the same religion sent to mankind through different prophets. For that reason, the Quran warns that the worst transgressors are those who change God’s words and give lies to His Message. Also serious warning that there are dreadful penalties for those who create divisions and cause dissension in humanity. And do not be like those who separated and disputed after the clear proofs came to them; for them is a great punishment. (Quran 3:105) God has given us the ability to reason, but too much mental reasoning blocks spiritual discernment and breeds plenty of confusion, don't you think? With that in mind, is it possible that we are reasoning ourselves out of prophetic wisdom that could be blocking our spiritual growth, our blessings, and even the full manifestation of our destiny? I’ll admit that I am analytical. I tend to reason through every possibility before making a decision. But I also pray after my thoughtful analysis and ultimately submit my plans to the written Words of God and I surrender to God's Guidance which always agree. Of course, I’m not perfect, there is still much to learn. When someone like you challenged me in regards to my own beliefs, it forced me to ponder, but am not saying that it's bad, it's actually great for the mind to question and seek answers. And I thank you for that, but my purpose is to lean not on my own understanding, even when my own understanding seems plentiful in my own eyes. Because the human heart is deceitful above all things. There is an ever-present danger of flowing in pride in all of us, instead of flowing in the wisdom that God has blessed us with. This is especially true when we consider ourselves well-versed, experts even, in any area. Knowledge will burst out like a balloon, after all pride comes before the fall. If we rely solely on our own reasoning, our own understanding, we could find ourselves shipwrecked. But if we rely on God’s Wisdom on His Reasoning, we may find ourselves with a haul of blessings so big we can’t contain them. Anyway, it's alright for you to agree to disagree. :) May God Almighty guide us all. Wassalam.

+Rey Shin Saburo Assalamualaikum again dear brother. As for the verse that you've inquired; With the clarifications and the scriptures. And We revealed to you the Reminder, that you may clarify to the people what was revealed to them, and that they may reflect. (Quran 16:44) This verse has been used to claim that since Prophet Muhammad is commissioned to explain and teach the Quran, thus we need the Hadith which explains the Quran. May I ask, do you think these verses authorize the Hadith as an additional source besides the Quran? Can the Messenger really guide people to the true meaning and message of the Quran? Do you really think that these verses authorize the Hadith as an additional source besides the Quran? Just to kindly remind you that Prophet Muhammad only had the Quran during that time when he was alive. And furthermore the words in 16:44 clearly state that the Messenger can only make things clear to the people by means of what is revealed to him (Quran). The common meaning is that the messenger delivered the Quran to the people and that he spent all his remaining days preaching the Quran and commanding people to follow it and showing them what the Quran requires them to do. However, the messenger cannot guide anyone or guarantee that all people will understand the true message of the Quran. It is God, and God Alone, who can guide the people and truly explain the message of the book to the ones who deserve the guidance. There are numerous verses in the Quran that confirm this; You cannot guide whom you love, but God guides whom He wills, and He knows best those who are guided. (Quran 28:56) Say, "It is not in my power to harm you, nor to bring you to right conduct." (Quran 72:21) Obey God and obey the Messenger, and be cautious. If you turn away-know that the duty of Our Messenger is clear communication. (Quran 5:92) This duty does not only apply to God's messengers, it applies to any Imam, ustaz or teacher or preacher. There are thousands of such teachers all over the world today giving lectures, lessons and sermons. They all try to explain the Quran, but do all their listeners understand the message of the book? Unfortunately, the answer is NO. God reminded us with a stern warning; These are God's Verses which We recite to you in truth. In which message (Hadith), after God and His revelations, will they believe? (Quran 45:6) God says, "Shall I seek a judge other than God, when He is the One who revealed to you the Book, explained in detail?" Those to whom We gave the Book know that it is the truth revealed from your Lord. So do not be of those who doubt. (Quran 6:114) This verse above is confirmed by God Himself that the only source of law is "the Book", meaning the Quran, and so for us not to be doubtful about that fact. In addition, the messenger is prohibited from adding his own teachings to the message he received from God. If he does, he would be committing a great error that would incur a severe punishment from God. See (Quran 69:44-46) from my earlier comment. What this means is that Prophet Muhammad is authorized only in delivering the message of the Quran and nothing else. All what he preaches and which is from the Quran must be obeyed, but not any other personal teachings that do not have reference or authorization in the Quran. To obey the messenger blindly in every word he ever uttered is the work of those who are intent on making an idol out of the Prophet, don't you think? God says, "We neglected nothing in the Scripture." (Quran 6:38) The Quran informs us that some enemies of the Prophet, described as"human and jinn devils," will fabricate lies and attribute them to the Prophet as in (Quran 6:12, 25:31). This is precisely what happened after Prophet Muhammad's death; Hadith (oral) and Sunnah (actions) were invented and attributed to the Prophet. Hadith and Sunnah are satanic innovations because they defy the Divine assertions that the Quran is complete, perfect, fully detailed, and shall be the only source of religious guidance (Quran 6:19, 38, 114 and 45:6-7). They've blasphemed against the Prophet and depicted him as a vicious tyrant who did not uphold the Quran, and created false doctrines based on superstition, ignorance, and indefensible nonsensical traditions. Prophet Muhammad was enjoined, in very strong words, from issuing any religious teachings. (Quran 69:38-48) Therefore, all these verses concluded that Prophet Muhammad is authorized to use the Quran Alone to preach to the people. The messenger of God will pass the message of the Book to all people and invite all to accept and follow the Quran, but he cannot guide anyone nor guarantee that anyone will attain the true message of the Book. And if the messenger cannot guide anyone (as in Quran 72:21 above), so much for the claim which states that the Hadith offers guidance! As you said it my dear brother, "but when it comes to teachings and worship, to each his own." It's sad that Islam has come to that stage in this century, but I have to reluctantly agree on that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for your time spent in replying, I appreciate it. May our Lord give us goodness in this world, and goodness in the Hereafter, show us our rites, accept our repentance and protect us from the torment of the Fire. Wassalam

Nouman Ali Khan, by just simply looking at the mankind history we can easily see that, people are changing prophets messages unless Allah protects them...And the only book Allah promised to protect is Quran, it really doesn't matter how trustworthy people they were who transmitted hadith. All the hadith we have now is a very good source for us to understand that era as a historical information. But we don't have to take them as a source of islam. Please consider this verse 43. The Quran isn’t just a book dropped down. The Quran are the words of Allah, the hadeeth is the actions of the prophet. They’re inseparable because Allah says to us follow Allah and his last prophet (hadeeth). This doesn’t mean we don’t believe in the other prophets we believe in all prophets. The words in 4:65 are addressed to prophet Muhammad. These words have been misinterpreted to claim 3 matters: 1- That the prophet of God is a lawmaker besides God whose law must be obeyed. 2- Since the source of any laws authroised by the prophet are found in the hadith, then the words in 4:65 compel all believers to follow the hadith as a second source of law besides the Quran. Ultimately, those who do not accept and follow the hadith are in breach of the instructions in 4:65.3- The promoters of this line of thought also claim that the words "they are not believers" mean that those who do not accept the hadith as a source of law are in fact disbelievers. Before analysing the words in 4:65 it is necessary to be reminded of the definition given by God for a believer. The definition is given in 2:285: The messenger has believed in what was brought down to him from his Lord, and so did the believers. They all , His , His and His : "We do not distinguish between any of His messengers", and they said, "We hear and we obey. Forgive us, our Lord. To You is the ultimate destination." 2:285 A believer is the one who believes in God, the angels, the Scriptures and the messengers of God. Nowhere in the Quran is the belief in hadith a requirement for being a believer. In fact, the Quran prohibits the acceptance of any hadith other than the Quran which is described as the best hadith: These are God's revelations (Quran) that We recite to you with truth, so 45:6 God has brought down ; a Book containing similarities and pairs. 39:23 ? 7:185 So ? 77:50 Now we need to look at the words in 4:65 closely: The words "until they make you judge" clearly indicate that the instructions in 4:65 applied to the time of the prophet and not today, for how can we expect a dead man to judge our ? Let us say two men disputed among themselves with regards to some conditions or terms of a joint business arrangement, how can they go to the grave of the prophet to ask him to arbitrate between them? The message we derive from 4:65 is that the believers who lived at the time of the prophet were instructed to place their trust in the prophet to judge among them . The words continue to instruct the believers to accept the verdict of the prophet wholeheartedly. Their faith in his verdict is a reflection of their belief in him as the messenger of God. Most importantly, to fully understand the message in 4:65, we need to know how the prophet of God judged between the poeple. The Quran gives us the exact method by which God instructed prophet Muhammad to use to judge between his people: We brought down to you (O Muhammad) the Book with the truth in accordance with what God has shown you, and do not be an advocate for the betrayers. 4:105 The words in 4:105 confirm the clear instruction given to prophet Muhammad. He was commanded by God to that was brought down to him to judge between the people. The same command to use the Quran to judge between the people is repeated in Sura 5: And with truth, confirming what came before it of the Scripture and superseding it. , and do not follow their personal desires in place of what has come to you of the truth. 5:48 For the importance of this command, it is immediately repeated in the verse that follows: And . 5:49 In fact, using God's Book to judge between the people was the method God prescribed to and not just prophet Muhammad: The people used to be one nation, then God sent as bearers of news and as warners, and . 2:213 The above words define the exact method prophet Muhammad used to judge among his people in their differences. He used the Book of God as his sole guidance, just like God commanded him, to judge people's disputes. It follows that to know the Quran is to know how prophet Muhammad judged. To claim that we need the verdict of stories written more than 200 years after the prophet died (hadith), when it is clear that prophet Muhammad used the Quran as his sole guidance is not only unjustified, but is totally misleading.

As for those who harbour deviation in their hearts, they pursue the multiple-meaning verses seeking to cause discord and seeking to interpret it. 3:7 In 3:7 we read that the Quran contains two types of verses. The first type of verses are the clear-cut verses (muhkamaat). As long as no foreign words are added to the interpretations of the clear-cut verses, they support only one clear meaning. The clear-cut verses are all the law-giving Quranic verses in the Quran. We will be held accountable to obeying the law in such verses, and so God would not phrase such verses in any uncertain manner. The second type of verses are the verses which can support more than one meaning (mutashabihaat). There are a number of reasons as to why God placed such multiple-meaning verses in the Book. The reason that concerns us in this specific research is that in such verses, God instilled a test for the people. Will they adhere to the meaning that conforms to the message of the Quran, and which is derived from Quranic evidence, and which is in harmony with other Quranic verses? Or will they seek a manipulated meaning that serves the non-Quranic ideologies of the reader? We should remember at this point that God informed us that He guides some people with the Quran and at the same time, God misguides some people, also with the Quran: As for those who believe, they know that it (Quran) is the truth from their Lord. As for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did God intend with that example?" He misguides many with it (Quran), and guides many with it (Quran), but He does not misguide with it except the wicked. 2:26 In the majority of cases, the mis-interpretations were a result of the scholar's attempt to uphold non-Quranic sources (hadith, culture, innovations, etc) which are not in harmony with the Quranic verdict in those verses.

All the arguments so far i have heard including yours, in support of Hadith are not as logical as the arguments in against of the Hadith. The most logical thing is that even if you pass on this message orally through a chain of 20 people, the 20th one will not be able to repeat the message as it is sure to get corrupted. Hadiths were passed over 200 years through a chain of numerous people. It was provenly corrupted as several hadiths were already removed.

Sayed Ibrahim Abuelmagd Thats nonsense! Who else than Muhammad sws could perfectly understood the God's message?!? Even if the compilation isn't flawless, that doesn't legitimate her abandon! We should in the contrary examine it meticulously!! You are full of passion. As many of Qu'raniyun, you're a reaction. You can't bear the outside critics (Wich are nonsense since without religion, there isn't absulte morality), so you're rejecting it. That's weakness. The Qur'an as the only source is a lure. The Koranists do not take into consideration one factor: the fact that the analysis of the Quran rests on our reason, which is itself fallible. Why then accept this margin of error in understanding the Qur'an and not in the Sunnah? In rejecting the Ahadiths, logic would have them reject the Qur'an as well. The Quran is immediately disqualified, if the criterion is infallibility in the application of the precepts of God. By rejecting the Sunnah, they are just multiplying the margin of error by trying to apply religion only with their reason. This margin exists WITH or WITHOUT the Ahadiths. All that we risk in applying the Sunna, while remaining critical, is to be closer to what Allah enjoins us to do. not to mention that the predecessors of Mohammed sws, the "ahl al-kitab" and "nasara", have not benefited from a protected word. Does this mean that they were all lost in following an oral tradition subject to error? Even if everything wasn't compiled (there IS compilation from the beginning!) , the sahabas were verry attached to his exemple. There is the revelations AND the exemple of the Prophets. They were memorizing all of his behavior. Like the contemporary of other Prophets. That's how the revelations were working before Muhammad sws. If the only revelation that could legislate is THE Holly book, what about all the predecessor of prophet Muhammad sws?? What about them, following handsmade scripture ?? God is not discrediting them. They are the people of book as well!!! Is God sw wrong??? No! They follow the path of prophecy with possibility of errors!!! And God permitted it!! Because there is NO "perfect" understanding! Even by reading solely qu'ran, you're putting on it your OWN view, with all our defective senses. Between your own interpretation and the prophets one (with possibility of error), the choice is easily made! It is way more rationale to follow his path with criticism on the source. Also, the thing that you're missing is the fact that The Sunnah is also protecting Islam. Without it, you'll probably fall into the lost of religion as the Christian's experienced with it's schism between Catholicism and Protestantism and all the horror that followed the reform. What's left to Christianity?? Sunnah is the shield of Islam. Without it, you can reject the salat as we're doing it. You can defend fornication,... There is two extremes : sacralize the Ahadiths or rejecting all of them. And you're part of one sect. Being critical about our scripture should not lead us to abandon all of it. It is hardly possible to avoid all sunnah and thus hadith. Too many cases would prevent us. The hadith is essential in the interpretation of the Koranic text and in the practical understanding of worship, even if "too many hadiths harm the hadith". We need to question the Sunnah and reject everything that contradict Qu'ran (that's the work of 'ulamah since centuries).

That is utter disrespect/injustice also what the Jews/Christians did to other prophets and I am sure even a common person would not like people spreading things in their name making claims about them without verifying it with the person themselves as that is an injustice. Allah has not given permission for ANYONE to add/change/create laws or religious books, even the prophets had no right to make other books and ONLY pass the book FROM GOD HIMSELF so what makes you think people can start making books and add things, this is EXACTLY what the Jews and Christians DID! really pleased to see people on here also question the validity of Hadith. The really odd thing is this: If hadith were meant to be followed why was there not any compiled before Bukhari gathered his? - Some (if not the majority) of hadith are absolutely laughable and so contradictory to the Quranic verses that it's blasphemous. - In hadith itself it is claimed that Abu Hurairah (one of the main contributors to Bukhari) shared false hadith and was reprimanded by Aisha. Also, that he had a profound fondness for female cats and detested the feminine nickname that the Prophet saw (apparently) gave him. He also allegedly got into various bitter spats with Aisha r'a. Conseuqently, surprise surprise the most mysoginistic hadith were narrated by Abu Huraira. And a really weird one where he allegedly claimed that cats were higher in status to women. He was also apparently a former jew. It is possible (no disrespect to any of the Prophets companions) that Abu Huraira could have been of the hypocrites and narrated these hadith to defile Islam. Or that other people did on his behalf. He was also I believe a former jew and spent only two years of his company with the Prophet saw. Yet his narrations are considered absolutely Sahih. One of the hadith narrated by AH was that woman came from the rib of a man. This is widely narrated by hadith-mongers but the Quran clearly states that man and woman came from one soul. The former is a biblical belief found in genesis. Yet so many people believe it.

@Irfan Alddin are you stupid? There a lot of hadiths which aren't true and fabricated but just because of them you are trying to completely dimiss what our prophet said us(through his companions). In order to find what is right and what is wrong there is a complete science of hadiths.
@ahmedhajwani8980
@ahmedhajwani8980 4 года назад
@Irfan Alddin my dear friend the science of hadiths is quite complicated but in a simpler form it's the study of isnad. We look at the chain of transmitters and by that we understand whether a hadiths is fabricated or not. All most all the hadiths credibility depends upon the transmitters. If the transmitters are well known among our ummah to be among pious people along with being the people who studied under the companions and thier offsprings then they are credible if not then they aren't. Once the credibility of the person in the chain is determined the content is also of one the very important factor for hadiths bring true or not. After a detailed study on all these factors hadiths are given their ranks. Hope you understand that

@Irfan Alddin oh sorry I don't not read your entire comment it seems you consider isnads being useless. If that's the case plz tell my why do you think isnads are useless. Because great alims of past who dedicated their entire lives towards our religion consider the science of isnad the best way and even a modern day person with enough knowledge understand this method to be best. But you laymen consider it to be wrong and we are supposed to believe you. Plz state your reason why science of isnads is wrong. I am sure u cannot but still let me see how ignorant one can be. Nice one Ustad, many points raised but something important missed, while total Hadith rejection is plain foolish as they do contain a fountain of knowledge relating to Quran and Sunnah and yes Muhammad SAW was the walking Quran, why would you not want to follow his Sunnah. But I will have to stress the undeniable pollution of Hadith literature which I can only put down to as the infiltration of Ibis into our ways, alas he is the open enemy of man and it would be a pipe dream if we thought he would not play his hand in Muslim affairs and his biggest in road into Islam has been through fake Hadiths and we must exercise caution, so I don't agree with total submission to Hadith simply beacause they are not all from our Prophet SAW. So what to do, 1/ if a Hadith text contradicts the Quran throw it out, 2/ No Hadith texts can ever abrogate a Quranic injunction 3/ see what the message in the hadith is conveying, if it corresponds to Quran as well as previous scriptures and directing you to a positive path than it can be valuable secondary information to the Quran. You know to get gold out of rock sometimes you must shift through a mountain of dirt to get to the prize, yet we will do it, Hadith must be viewed as such, if we are careful we can identify the gems but an overview of all Hadith is well overdue.

The scholars of Hadith have already classified hadith into the classes, saheeh, jayyid, da'eef etc. If you stick with the main Hadith books of Muslim, Bukhari, Ibn Majah and so on and avoid Hadith that have been classed as da'eef or fabricated you will be fine in shaa' Allaah.

Osher Lior There are way too many to metion, if I was to pick one lets take one of the biggest which was witnessed by thousands on the day and should be a easy Hadith to record correctly 'the farewell sermon'; yet now there are no less than 4 different versions of this same event! those intrested must do their own research and come to the conclusion that your own heart feels comfortable with,now that is a true Hadith from the Rassoulullah SAW. The work done to date by Hadith scholars while huge men in the religion with out doubt are comporomised so a sahee or da'eef classification is not safe enough, I don't have answars but the most simple solution is to first check if it aggres or controdicts the Quran also with older Scriptures like Tarut or Ingeel (What's left of them) one example-' kill the apostate' yet Quran says 'no compoltion in religion / to you your religion to me my' further Tarut 1st command' Though shall not kill' so Allah commands mercy and justice and men orders to kill, throw such rubbish in the bin.

+azzy1971 One who commits apostasy (or who apostatizes) is known as an apostate. The term apostasy is used by sociologists to mean renunciation and criticism of, or opposition to, a person's former religion, in a technical sense and without pejorative connotation. What I think and believe is that that if you renunciate a religion or a law in a society in the sense of that you no longer obeying the law that is ordained in a society, then the only definition that characterize or represent such term is rebel. Rebel is a person who refuses allegiance to, resists, or rises in arms against the government or ruler of his or her country (in this case we talk about against "Good" people). That means that anyone who does not obey the rules or of good governance in that society or God's Law in this case, for example like Atheist or a criminal within that society then can they not be consider as apostate or rebel?
@azzy1971
@azzy1971 8 лет назад
Osher Lior Any one can became a rebel at any stage but in matters of faith no compultion is fundamently clear so the idea of having judgement passed on them is not for us to make. Allah is the only Judge, hence there can never be force used to justify curtaling freedom of religion, we can defend aginst violent attacks and use law there but to force slience and submission is deff wrong, yet the history of man shows otherwise, labeling any one outside commonly held views as Apostates as a means of oppression and our Lord is not in the least oppressive and never ordered us to be, this is a direct finger print of the devil.

The Qur'an is the theory and the Hadith is the practicalities. The Qur'an is the abstract, and the Hadith is the concrete. The Hadith has been analyzed very carefully so we can't say that its a flaw prone document.

@@muslimabubakar9384 Present me examples in the Hadith that don't make sense. And if the Qur'an is more practical, then where are the specifics of wudu'? Again, Qur'an is the abstract, Hadith is the concrete. The Hadith tells us HOW to understand the Qur'an and how to BE like the Qur'an (If you know what I mean). Prophet Muhammad SAW is the best embodiment of the Qur'an. In my own conjecture, he is the Qur'an in human form. If we're just going to create laws from the Qur'an directly, we're going to create a lot of differences. Prophet Muhammad SAW is the best interpreter and embodiment of the Qur'an. Who are we to create something out of the Qur'an when there is Prophet Muhammad SAW exist. Are we just going to take the risk of inventing things which he disapproves of? Allah knows best!
@alsokpen9374
@alsokpen9374 3 года назад
Yes the Qur'an is complete and perfect but the problem is HOW are we able to take advantage of it? That is through the Hadiths. The Hadith doesn't add anything to the Qur'an. It only explains the Qur'an and how to act upon it. With or without the Hadith, the Qur'an remains the same, pure, complete, and perfect. It is only our understanding that changes without the Hadith. That's why we can say that the Qur'an is enough. Enough in what sense? Enough in a way that it contains everything we need to know. For me, If God specified everything for us, we wouldn't bother to use our reasoning anymore. It also would make the Qur'an less beauitful since God has to relate the concepts to us in a story. Which means He would create non-factual stories just for us, and that would make the Qur'an less profound and less concise If the story is true then it has to be during the life of the Prophet which is the Hadith. Allah knows best! This is idea originates from my own reasoning. I don't intend to innovate or invent anything of my religion.

@@alsokpen9374 I can agree to some extent. However, the major source of our problem is how we divined the Hadiths, to large extent that scholars feel more comfortable with Hadith rather than the word of God! Quran says to mankind reason, contemplate etc. hadith scholars says stick to Hadith even if it doesn’t make sense. This is my problem with too much referral to Hadith
