Where you’re planning that dream shot is an illegal place to fly here.. 😩 I would be super careful posting that up online if you do still go for the shot, DOC can be strict on popular places (Like Cathedral Cove) and have been known to push charges. I don’t want to be a scare mongerer, just don’t want anything negative to come out of this for ya. Hit me up if you have any Qs ✌️

I am going to New Zealand at a very similar time to you and I am wondering what locations you will be going to fly. I don’t have an avata but I do have an 8 inch long range drone for mountain surfing 🤷‍♂️

I want to take my Avata 2 mountain surfing it looks really fun, and it's probably less risky than the rips I've been doing in my backyard this last month.

Hopefully the weather is good at the end of June, a bit risky
