Why does hair care matter in a hospital? 

Keeping a patient's hair clean and properly cared for reduces the risk of infection as well as helps them feel cared for. But for years, too many hospitals have lacked to tools and training to care for all hair types. The University of Vermont Medical Center's Hair Equity Project is changing that.
