Why Does Holiness Make Us Cringe? | Kingsmen

The Enemy is a crafty one. I was at virtual church yesterday and the enemy wasn’t liking it too much. I was constantly distracted, but yet with the Holy Spirit, I pushed on through and it was a fantastic sermon about being a servant and ministry so of course the enemy wasn’t liking it. During the sermon I felt a supernatural war and the Lord and his angels were fighting on my behalf. I’m so grateful! My point is is that it’s really easy to get distracted and the focus turns inward and I start thinking about myself of people I don’t like or how I’m better in some way. It’s utter nonsense, but that’s the season I’m in. I fight through it and continue to fix my eyes on Jesus and when I get out of my own head and out of my way, I’m at peace and have joy because I am saved and eternally grateful even though the enemy try’s to dissuade telling me I’m a reprobate and am doomed for Hell. I put my hope in Jesus Christ.

Holiness makes us cringe because it’s a biblically simple answer. The carnal mind is enmity against God and cannot subject to His will. The mind set on the flesh but in the case for Christians, He gives us more grace. The mind on the Spirit there is life and peace

We Christians get upset when a transgender refuses to listen to the love of God. At the point of refusal of the gospel, the most loving thing we can do is to tell your transgender friend that, since we don't respect each other's choices, there is no reason for us to be friends.
