Why Does Kamala Harris Use Word Salad? | Analysis of Controversies Surrounding Vice President 

Someone once said it best: "Kamala Harris reminds you of that girl back in the 4th grade who's trying to give a book report on a book she hasn't read." Indeed.

She was our boss when I worked at the department of Justice in Sacramento, California. What everyone said about her then is true today. She made everyone do her work, no one liked working for her, she slept her way to the top and she was incompetent

Amazing how someone who’s at best been invisible for the bulk of the last four years is now the “darling” of the party.

Her word salad is no different from the student who writes a lot about nothing when answering an essay question for which they don’t know the answer. She’s BSing her way through it, and trying to cover up her lack of knowledge with more than necessary words. Liars do the same thing when they lie. Lots of words with no substance.

It's amazing how you were able to read her responses with a neutral expression. Way to go.

Someone could ask Kamala what is for dinner, and the response would be..."The time for dinner is now because dinner time is happening. Dinner is happening because it needs to happen, and everyone will be making dinner. Dinner needs to happen now and will happen now. It is an exciting time that dinner is being made. It will be the best dinner!"

She is not underprepared, she is simply an empty suit.

I don't care much about someone having an affair, but once elected attorney general I'm upset with the crimes she's committed in her job to serve the people.

To me, she is trying to be something she knows she isn't. She's trying to show her infinite intelligence, when truth be told she is not as smart as she wants people to believe.

Out of almost 400 hundred million humans , what is picked in this country for leadership is truly disappointing and hopeless.

Kamala has been unpreparing her whole unprofessional life.

On on example She states, "I haven't been to Europe either." And Dr. Grande starts his next example, "Another example was From a speech in France." Dr. Grande leaves little easter eggs for us to find.

Men speak 10,000 words a day. Women speak 35000 words a day. Kamala speaks 55000 words per day with 100000 laughs per day. Points to Ponder

She is a great example of someone appointed for optics rather than competence. I find her to be an insult to her office, or any office for that matter

I'm not American (and our own politicians and government are pretty inept,) but it terrifies me that the (formally) greatest country in the West cannot produce any leaders better than Harris and Biden. And even more terrifying: there are Americans actively supporting and voting for them.

Her words are empty without any depth .... They just go in circles like a dog chasing its own tail!

As a retired medical professional, she seems to be over-medicated to me. I see few normal emotional variations in her, only euphoria and no appropriate alternatives. She'll be required to submit hair and blood for analysis to continue. If she isn't we all need to do whatever is necessary to protect ourselves from her continuing degradation of our resources

When recognizing Kamala has a problem, we must understand that it is a big deal. And it is a big deal, that is a problem. And not understanding the problem can lead to other problems, like not understanding how big of a deal this is, for all of us, and that is a problem.

This is what happens when people are rewarded for their gender, race, politics or connections rather than their ability.

Wait one minute she said she was living in California and being bused across town to school. Now you tell me that she was in Canada. this will be gold for the Trump Campaign.

As her staff complained, she would never take things serious and prepare for speaking.

Trying to keep wrongfully convicted inmates in prison and arguing for the slave labor benefits of incarceration for the state are both evil acts. Tells me all I need to know about her.

One simple answer for her word salad… she’s largely unqualified. DEI as a sole “qualification” is not an appropriate approach. It should be best man for the job based on merit. Period.

Kamala is the kind of person who you could watch one video of her over and over again and still not understand what she’s saying. In fact, the more you watch, the more freaked out you get.

She’s the kind of narcissist who spent years being an absolute bullshite artist, she is a persona not a person. She has put years of work into a facade. Narcissists bank on people buying into the persona ( read M.Scott Pecks’ book “ people of the lie”) ; meaning titles, positions, status, money and spewing rhetoric which no one questioned . But The position she is now in makes her too vulnerable and the mask is falling- she simply can’t hide anymore behind the persona, her image is falling apart because there was NEVER any real substance behind it . There Never was an authentic, truly self realized person. I think that applies to many people in power. They surround themselves with sycophants who never tell them the truth. Eventually the mask falls. I can’t imagine the rage, I wonder who she takes it out on.

I used to think she was just an airhead, but now I agree with Dr. Grande: she unprepared for the job, which means she's just as bad as if she were just an airhead. I met her. It was summer 2015 in San Marcos (north of San Diego), she was CA's AG. She was known for prosecuting human traffickers, and I completely idolized her back then. I had just moved back to CA from the Middle East (where I'd been teaching) and went to an event to hear her talk about her plans to deal with traffickers. She was extremely articulate, and I stood in line for over an hour to shake her hand and introduce myself. She complimented my necklace (made for me from Omani seashells by an Iraqi/British friend) and asked me where I got it. When I told her, her eyes widened and she wanted to know what had taken me to Oman. I told her she was likely the only American I would ever meet who would know that Oman exists, let alone where it is and why it is a special country. She laughed and said... "that might be true, but I hope not". As the years passed, I learned that she was responsible for doing terrible things to CA's prison system, keeping people incarcerated much longer than necessary, and refusing to even entertain alternatives. I was shocked and disappointed. By the time she got to Congress, I'd lost all respect for her. I felt naive and duped and realized that I really knew nothing about her when I liked her so much. I later heard from someone who worked for her office when she was AG that she was horrible to the staff. She's also known to be a staunch Zionist who has less regard for the victims of US/Israel policies than even the most radical cult-like evangelical Americans who think Israel is a land set aside by God for converting Jews to Christianity during the "end times". While she may not embrace that crazy religious nonsense, I don't understand her Zionist position at all. I am inclined to think that she has been bought and paid for by extremists in the Israel lobby, though I could be wrong. I hope I am. Anyhow, regarding her speaking skills, I've been wondering for awhile if she might have sustained some kind of brain injury at some point since I saw her in 2015? She speaks in public the way I speak German when I'm on the phone. But my issues are due to weak spoken German language skills and an impairment that causes me to struggle with spontaneous speech in general (I have a recent autism diagnosis). Whatever it is that causes her to speak like this, I really do hope she's able to overcome it. I still do not like her very much as a politician, but I hate to see someone who was once that articulate become publicly derided for using "word salad".

Having been a psychiatrist for over 30 years, I would describe her form of thought more accurately as “poverty of content” as opposed to word salad. I would also describe her repetition of words and phrases as being evidence of perseveration. From my experience word salad is more uncommon and is virtually incomprehensible. I also realize “poverty of content” doesn’t make for funny memes😊. Keep up the good work-I enjoy your videos.

I recently watched some of JFK's old speeches. What a difference! Even his spontaneous replies to reporters is amazing.

Almost all the most powerful politicians use word salads in interviews. Sometimes it’s so calculated and amazing that by the end of it, you kind of forget what question was even asked. They will dance around a simple yes or no question with two paragraphs of circular statements.

Hearing her speak, it reminds me of when you have to write a paper in high school and the teacher tells you it has to be a certain number of words or pages but you've procrastinated too much and don't have enough material to meet the requirement. So you keep repeating basically the same thoughts but try to say them in a different way, hoping the teacher won't notice. Teacher always notices. Thanks for breaking this down, Dr Grande. It gave me a great laugh. But maybe it shouldn't because it's so obvious how unprepared she is for the task. 😱🤣
