@-paganless2-432 But Lydia wasn't ugly in 7 in fact she looked better and she was more unique looking. The men glowed up but they did that through outfits,hair styles and age and personality. the women just got made into even more barbie dolls

Noticed this all the way back when they started showing character reveals. It's pretty disappointing that when they finally upgraded the face models (to the point Harada himself was boasting the expressions) they forgot to make unique models and expressions for the female characters (except maybe Reina). With Nina and Lidia I think it's mainly the eyes. In T7 Lidia had noticeably thicker eyebrows compared to Nina. They also seem to do their makeup almost identically in T8. Lidia also used to have blemishes on her nose. There's just a whole lotta same face in t8 for female characters that wasn't as bad in t7
I totally agree with you. She looks like Nina. She has a unique face on Tekken 7. I’m kinda upset they didn’t keep that face…. They all need face expressions…. Like street fighter 6 does

Their similarities being only that they're both blonde women, the truth of the matter is that while unintentional she's basically an upper class Nina Williams. While the Williams sisters come from an upper middle-class family they themselves are not very wealthy. Particularly Nina. While not poor, Nina is far from the likes of a successful politician.

🤔 While I can agree about the characters not showing enough emotions in genera,l she is one of the more stoic characters and is one of the few that should not be showing any emotions.
can't deny that everything about tekken 8 is almost perfect except for their female character design, it's not bad or anything, it's just lack of variation
I approve of the title. It was one of my first thoughts. Lidia's face model specifically her nose and eyes really distinguished her from the rest of the women on the roster in a good way in T7. But now she really does just look like a different version of Nina to me. If you showed Lidia's face model and told me this was tekken 8 Nina if we hadn't saw any of T8 yet I would've believed it no questions asked. Still glad she's here regardless, looking forward to trying her out.
I really like Nina in Tekken 8. Lidia is welcome as well, my hope is that she has some new moves and cool interactions with other characters. Oh, and maybe another very cool outfit that we haven't seen on her.
@@chillpill1590 I thought the same thing too but if you switch the models like the ones in TK 7 like for an example if you put Anna animation face on Nina's animation face or Kuni animation face along with Eliza.. oh trust me they ain't the same they are completely different from each other lol
I think it's general artstyle/char design approach that makes female characters look a like a bit but believe or not I still can't see similarities with Nina lmao. Lidia has more gentle facial features while Nina is like more sharp and she looks older though.

You're the only one. Tekken 7 Lidia 's face is so unique, with a rounder face , bigger eyes, fuller lips she looked like a real person. Now she looks like a doll
