does anyone else have this extension called "properties" that literally redownload itself when you delete, that is if you can even delete it since it literally crashes or move you to a different page when I first try to.
@@elenakawa6450 Idk if this is how you fix it, but I've found this task on "task scheduler" (look up your window search bar" and found this task that called something on the line "chrome extension properties" that has no author nor description of what it does. I look it up but there isn't seem to be an answer. I'm thinking of deleting it, but idk. if you found something let me know, and if you delete it let me know also because I think it might be why the virus is redownloading itself. also: under the "trigger" category, it says something like repeat every 5 mins which got me pretty suspicious, you have to extend the whole window to read it.

@@itzyoboiwarden5699 i found out that there’s actually a program that sets off the “virus” every certain amount of time so i searched up “windows task scheduler” in the windows search bar and from there i was able to delete the software that was injected into my computer that kept coming back after all you do is right click on the virus and then click on delete and it should get rid of it
you should also make sure to delete any other files that may have a connection to it i hope i was able to help i got this virus from trying to download minecraft shaders 😂
Why is malware Fox not available anymore now it's only showing AVG when you go to your website and pop-ups keep popping up. Seems a little sus??? When you talk about pop-ups yours is doing the exact same thing. I was super excited about this website and you go and change your website that you can advertising with all these links that I've been watching everyday and when I finally go to do it it's not even the same name anymore. What in the world then you have all these pop-ups? Can you please explain?
I have 2 PUP.optional.spigot - Detected by malwarebites Anti-Malware PUP.optional.legacy - Detected by adwbytes When I quarintine either the pc doesn't ask for a restart. In the spigot one, the path suggests it has to do with something in internet explorer (I need it for some stuff in government pages) They come back after a restart and explorer tells me something is trying to change the homepage

I had a malware displaying an alias MS cloud login that was not me. I formatted the drive and restored a previous system backup. This was good for a month or so. Then when doing a Win version update the malware came back! I am wondering of that malware was on a restore point in another drive! I removed the system drive and put in a new drive. I also did a cleanup of every data drive in the system using Disk Cleanup. I made sure best I can there was no data on the driver other than my user files. I re-installed Win 10 as if a new install. Then re-loaded all the programs. So far for a week now the malware did not come back. I do not install free or hacked software. I install the free web browsers such as Chrome and Firefox, and from Libre Office. I only go to the official site. My MS Office is a bought license. This is very frustrating. I hate the fact that Windows on its own can use older restore points during an update. The next update will be frightening for me! Does MS Windows use any restore points from any cloud service? Any suggestions???

because they're overpriced and still get malware on them. I work in IT and every tech I know that has a MacBook has to run WINDOWS in Parallels, or some other VM. So they overpaid for Apple's software to just run Windows as a VM to do IT work.
