I'm on the truman show right? I looked at the gate cnc stuff online and the next week your released a video on it! I've just upgraded my aeg and its almost too quiet to the point I was worried it was broken somehow and you release this!
The more I ingest and learn from your content, the more I believe in safe/semi/burst on AEGs and just leave auto to HPA where I can digitally lock RPS to something reasonable. this is of coarse personal preference.
I'll just ask very politely as I have watched this twice now as really informative but if you can take a stock (preferably a TM for selfish twatty reasons) AUG and let us know what kind of build you would ... I would shed a tear of happiness
I’ve found sometimes that with mags they are slightly too small, therefore they tilt slightly and don’t engage the feeding lips of the hop. Edit: I used Electric tape the the back side of an AK mag to help it hold as well with any M4 mags that have issues I just wrap the upper half two or three times to hold the tension when in the mag well. (Also helps with identification of your gear)
I have learned from my experience from trying to get my ASG Aug to feed is that to just not trust mid caps. I've bought a pack of 5 from King Arms (if I remember correctly) and only 1 ever fed to some degree. Now my ASG Aug isn't really an ASG anymore, replacing the gearbox with a JG one after the bushings went and I noticed it just either did not have a long enough nozzle or it just isn't a tapered nozzle which also caused feeding issues when I was first testing the new hi-cap mags I bought. After replacing the nozzle with the one from the ASG gearbox which was longer and tapered at the end: it feeds flawlessly. The feed tray I'm using is also from the ASG. So I'm assuming that maybe Augs just don't really like mid caps at all because I remember using the ASG nozzle when testing with mid cap and it wouldn't feed at all. So to anyone having feeding issues with their Aug and are using mid-cap mags, try testing with high cap mags first. They may rattle but it's better to have a gun that you know when you pull the trigger, it won't just dry fire. The ASG nozzle was tapered at the end and around 24mm long (can't remember and not gonna risk spending an hour getting the stupid trigger back in the gearbox because it decided it wants to be a dick today)
I changed a few parts in my JG mp5 from the crappy plastic to cnc the AOE was better with the new parts and reshimmed and its actually alot quieter cause most of the noise was gears. Also putting better nozzle has given better variance 1-2 fps over like 30 shots
In my head, the _very first thing_ that will happen as soon the piston moves is that the BB will unseal from the nozzle. So any nozzle-to-BB seal that you can achieve on the bench while brutally mashing your ball onto your nozzle is about the least relevant factor. 🤔
Depends on the nozzle, ab, precocking, aeg type... Many factors in this video not just that one, it was a single point which aids the explanation of why your middle teeth can chew on the piston. You know how this works by now dude... 😉 We open the minds to every possibility rather than saying "THIS ONE THING"

In some cases you'll get higher FPS after applying hop. Why? Well, by placing a rubber mound in front of the BB you are lengthening that "seal" time between nozzle and BB. Just know it exists and does stuff.
@Negative Just an idea for you but have you ever tried PM600 Military Grease from Rockshox, I service mountain bike suspension and they use it for the o-rings on the air pistons within the fork and it's referred to as liquid o-ring, if you want something that's slicker and less sticky you could try R.S.P. Slick Kick Special Grease, it's much less gummy than PM600 and allows seals to glide with the least amount of friction but PM600 creates a better seal and lasts longer.
Several other variables you forgot about in regards to the sound. Body material, gear ratio, motor, the length of inner barrel vs outer barrel as well as the style of muzzle device.
I changed the gears on my full auto ghost evolution to 13:1 12z and put a warhead 45k motor in and it broke the original piston now I got a new one and probably shimmed to hard and that looked up the bevel gear I reshimed it and now 5 teeth of the bevel broke of I noticed that the bevel did not have any up and down play so that’s fun have to change that again And I will change the nozzle once I got it with your motor tower as well
@@opairsoft8100 I already looked more and someone said that 13:1 short stroked to 8 teeth worked fine but he dos not recommended using 11.1s I still would have to put a stronger spring in to get the joule output again but hier in Germany we can only have full auto with 0.5 joule guns
hears don't write the equation, cracks knuckles, takes deep breath........ force = mass x acceleration. i knew paying attention in school would pay off one day!!!!
What is your opinion on bearings vs bushings (8mm)? There is a lot of information on the internet. So much that I don't know what is a myth. Right now I'm leaning towards bushings due to their reliability. Couldn't find any perfomance tests. Some say that bearings are quieter and some that bushings. IMO the difference is probably unnoticable. Had I not watched your videos I would be still convinced, based on my research, that maxx hop up unit is the best one for every situation. Now I'll probably buy a cheap, plastic rotary one and see if works
Bearing have their place, I don't buy into EZO bearings as you're not getting much for the reliability & I've seen more ezo bearings blow that standard LCT or Krytac bearing. I prefer solid steel for reliability .
Fuxing (JG) 160round midcap AUG mags feed amazingly well in JG. Afaik they work great in Army as well but not sure about Snow Wolf and the rest. Isn't ASG AUG a JG AUG with trades? edit: seems like it isn't... welp...
Hi Neg!!!! its ol Larry out here in West Texas again... I have a question..... I Recently finished An AEG DMR build.... I Did everything.... gears, Shims, Cyl, Piston, Nozzle Ect... Also put in the Perun V2 and a Ronin 45k Warhead motor.... It ran beautifully for about 4 mags... Then it began to misfeed.... Every other round on semi... Very interesting right?? Any ideas??? Im stumped....
So really, it’s not much different to swapping engine parts in a car… you can swap your air filter out or your exhaust… but unless you’re doing it all together, those individual parts are not really going to feel like they’re doing anything major in return, the increases in reality aren’t really felt because it’s only say a couple of extra horsepower for possibly a lot of labour and parts costs.
14:30 good old law of dominishing returns. a 6000€ guitar sure as hell isn't 10 times as good as a 600€ guitar, but a 600€ is definitively 10times better than a 60€ guitar. there's a tipping point with everything. sorry for going a bit off topic here.
