Oh no! So sorry to hear that. Do you use well water or City water? It sounds like you have a lot of sulfur (or other contaminants) in your water. Have you had a plumber out for a water test? They can figure out what's in your water and how to remove it. You could probably use a carbon filter, but it's hard to know if that would work without testing your water first.
@@ThorntonAndGrooms I've had two people out here to change the hot water heater I don't know what else to do how would I or what's the name would I look under to test my water it is well water I can see a white residue coming off of my ice even in my ice maker when the ice cube start melting it's little particles of white yeah the well guy said to call someone else to test the water but I'm not sure who or what I would look under can you please help me the smell is so bad but on the cold water it's not smelling that way had the Anode rod changed 3 times
@@wendy8561 I'm not sure where you are located, but you could google "water quality testing near me," and I'm sure someone like Culligan or a local plumber will show up. Most plumbing companies should be able to perform them as well. Some will even test your water for free. Call one of the companies that show up and ask if they can test your water. I'm surprised the previous company that replaced your two water heaters didn't test the water.
@@ThorntonAndGrooms I'm not sure if they did or not but they did say we had a tiny bit of lead he held up the test tube to a roll of paper towels and said it wouldn't be harmful I'm just so scared my hands have been breaking out thank you so much for your input I am disabled I do have some extra money put back but I'd say I'd spent around $9,000 already God bless you I pray I can get this solved and my water tested very soon
