I think that one of the reasons why Larry and Sergey aren't really well known is because they don't like to show off on social media or on media in general. They don't even have any public social media accounts. Also, if you read the Story of Google book, I think it's said there that Sergey and Larry were the ones who started and initially scaled Google, but as the company grew, the story of Google became the story of thousands of other employees and not just around Larry and Sergey anymore. Still, I'm a huge fan of them and I'm hoping that soon we'll get a movie of how Google started just like The Social Network.
& this is LITERALLY the most underrated comment to give someone in the world to make a movie about this or even bring this to light to actually find the guys some how, they literally can’t live without any single soul in the world knowing about them (or can they? Can they LITERALLY do the impossible & do that) (the worlds most impossible impossible challenge) or am I the only thinks like this? (Btw Ik high af) (wax) but think about this or maybe this is a very bad thing I’m typing here & literally giving a someone an idea that could bring them threat or harm to forces them to come out from “hiding” & making them very uncomfortable being in the public eye & stressing them then comes the bad intenses between them 2 & the world & pretty much destroy the internet... damn..
I remember when you could google things, and it would bring up a lot of different links. Now if you just wanna read some conspiracies for fun, you have to go to page 105 to get away from the mainstream media links telling me about how conspiracies are dangerous 😂😂😂
Page and Brin were famous for their inventions during the period of about 2000-2005, anyone who was even slightly interested in tech at that time knew them because of the impact Google made on the internet at the time. People got used to Google though.
That's true, and we use it because it's as good now as it was back then. It's part of our daily lives and so we don't really recognize it. We all just expect search to work these days. And search isn't really THAT interesting.
Also at the time they became billionaires in their twenties like Zuckerberg. Not sure why the narrator tried to contrast them as mediocore in regards to age.
Yes they are. I always love reading this and I have to thank you. Some days are good, some not so much. If I've learned anything in my 51 years of life it is that if I smile I will start feeling better. It even helps a tiny bit during severe grief, not much, but sometimes it only takes that lil bit to get through. Also smiling will change the lives of others around you and could even save a life. Imagine walking into a store and smiling at the person walking out. That may be all that person needed to stop them from going home and committing suicide. Be especially kind and gentle with those you want to throttle. We can't know what a stranger is going through. Don't assume they're buttholes because they're rude or hostile. Now if they're always that way please tell them that smiling won't crack their face. Lol. I'm not asking anyone to be a doormat or whipping boy. Just be kind. Don't assume anything about others and don't judge them. Oh and the most important thing is make sure you have your smile on before you leave the house. I know it works because I had an elder stop me one day when I was 16-17 and tell me that it always made her day when she saw me because I was always smiling. I had never been aware of it. Also that I always spoke to her if I were close enough. She told me that from the time she left her neighborhood until she returned that absolutely nobody spoke to her or looked her in the eye other than me. She was an African American elder. That was 1986-87 in southern Ohio. Yes people here were still that damn racist. She told me that I restored her faith in humanity and if other young people were like me she knew that her grandchildren and great grandchildren would live in a safer world. I'd give up some time to be able to speak to her now and let her see how much things here have changed. There are still many racists here, don't get me wrong, but now those of us that aren't outnumber them greatly and they have to hide and whisper their nasty words. No longer are children being threatened by grown men that they're going to lynch them, calling them B's and N lovers. I was 8 when that was done to me and my biracial friend/sister. That was terrifying. My dad was at work and my mom was blocks away at home. Those same brave men had nothing to say when my 5'4" mom went to talk to them. Cowards. That's all they were. They terrorized us after that until my 6'5", red-headed, ex-marine daddy, and my 6'4" uncle went and had a talk with them. That experience, those few nasty words ignited a fire in me. I aim to be kind to all who deserve it and no stranger has ever had a chance to blow it. Sorry for the rant and rambling. Seeing smiling faces is my greatest joy and spreading love and kindness is my passion. Peace and love.
I think they're the most smartest among all why? You can live without Apple products, without a Tesla even without windows but you can't live without RU-vid, Google Search,Cheap Smartphones that runs Android and ofcourse if you're very poor even then you can use most of the Google products "Legally". That's what brilliance. And here's the plot twist they're not "Truly" free it's an "Exchange" of services and data.😂
You're wrong about Microsoft and Apple. Those two revotunalized the personal and easy to use technology industry. Without Microsoft creating a amazing software for compact PC's and without Apple creating the first smart phone google products just wouldn't be as big.
@@georgebright7541 if you're gonna say something about the IMB phone then don't even. Apple created the first modern smartphone. Or to be specific, something you could access thr whole internet on and basically do anything
Crazy to think 22 years ago it was just a couple of guy with an idea working out of a garage. They literally paved the way to the convenient internet. Not complicated internet. Man if I could go back in time and invest ...... sheesh.
Larry and Sergey have understood the reality of life. Even if you are a person with one dollar per day or a million dollars per day, you can eat one meal to fill your small stomach and wear one dress at a time. you may not live longer than 100 years as many of the billionaires. Larry and Sergey may have understood this reality and may live calm and cool for the next few years in this world. They know that they cannot take anything that they earned. the only thing they will take is the effects of the good deeds they have done for billions of people. that is enough for them to have better lives in the next life.
and its the truth, they're not going to live forever😂 and you too, what's the matter with that? its the truth. he's just like a father gives an advice Larry. sshhh.. its okay. you're going to have another golden toilet again.
Google provides great services for free and I love them for it. Plus their founders don't care for publicity and just want to live their passion - that is Innovation. I love them for that reason.
Ah yes, *logically awnsered* the one channel that will make me sit down and listen to him talking about *dirt* *UNDERRATED CHANNEL* keep going you'll grow *-From a long time fan* *(TRADEX)*
It’s sad that we put so much value on people just based on how much money they have. It makes me sick when I hear someone say “so and so is WORTH x amount of money.” Wtf people are not worth money. People are not properly.
To be fair most people think Elon founded Tesla, which he didn’t he was an early investor and then one of the founders got kicked out his company and the other left and Elon became the CEO after another CEO was fired.
Honestly, Google is the most consequential technology company of the Internet era. Amazon, Netflix are great services I use all the time but none of them are truly breakthrough technological advances. Although, I don’t think any of us would ever be quite as wealthy as the two Google founders but from a distance it does seem rather perfect to have all that wealth( and all the perks and privileges that come along with it) and still lead a relatively normal and private life. If one was to observe must wealthy multi-generational families they’re a lot like Page and Brin extremely secretive and private with not much apart from their initial source of wealth being known.
Do you know how Google motivates its workforce? By asking the question, "What would you give to humanity today, if money was no longer an issue" Mans true motivations have always been autonomy, mastery and purpose.
I miss the old Google. Glass was a peak towards the future and teased what they might have behind the scenes but haven't shown yet. I hope they come out with more cool robots, ai, and tech in the future.
They are true entrepreneur If I ever become a successful entrepreneur I would too like to make my company independent working without any emotional connection like an island which is revolutionary in long term
Thanks for making this video. Larry Page already step down as Alphabet's CEO ? I also just realized that by founding a company as big as Google, Larry and Sergey's wealth should have been far more than what they currently have. Something a little strange it seems.
These guys are literally gods living in our era... ppl don’t realize this... they could’ve been bad but choose to be good & how to run the internet pretty much
It's not a wonder if the U.S government asked them to do something against Sergey's and Larry's moral code that they had to step out. And and a guy from India who has no moral code, is willing to do anything as long as he can continue the innovation and money making.
For reference, here is Larry Page speaking: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gNZKtRjvrvo.html Also for reference, my mixtape: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P5xutn3QtV0.html you are welcome
Good for them, I never really understood people's desire to be famous. Do great work, make a lot of money & chill with your family & friends. That's all that's important.
Funny thing is its easy to call google a search engine company, but when we dig deep into how advanced their AI is in anything they do, it almost always groundbreaking, eg google assistant, maps, photos etc.
Brin and Page used to be pretty regular topic on the news 15 years ago, just like today's media continuously talk about Bezos and Musk. Actually people barely knew Bezos and Musk in the past, because they were not that famous then (but they were there). We don't hear about the google founders anymore because they went underground. We tend to forget so fast. I'm sure after 20 years no one will know who Steve Jobs was, just like we don't know who Michael Dell was.
They are exceptional engineers. As Engineers, most passionate ones do never want to be businessmen. They are tinkerers. Their invention gave every engineer the best tinkering tool for solving problems.
Bro, I legit looked up who Larry Page and Sergey Brin were after watching what happened to the boring company by the same video producer and not even going through his play-list either!
They were literally one of the very first in the beginning of the 'internet frontier' and everyone just took it as normal and got used to it. They never needed the celebrity status to succeed.
We should all be grateful these guys weren't evil. They created the greatest internet tech company of the 21st century and just didn't care much for it and left it to greedy techno beaurocrats instead of truly exploiting their creations' potential
Sooo I just did a Google search and apparently they are billionaires and with the both of the founder net worth combine it is above 150 billion... Wow!
lol...google is a Military Industrial Complex property via the Alphabet corp. it's owners are truly unknown because it's so vast, it would be impossible to follow the strings back to an "owner"
Google gets me excited. I google all the time. I absolutely don’t miss looking up things for hours in a encyclopedia or books. Take away all search browsers and we’ll see how many people miss google. I remember a time before google. And I don’t miss it. For example earlier today I wanted to know what the difference was between a Asian beetle and a lady bug. I would have had to search in books before. Now I just go to my phone and google. All information is just a click away. My generation loves google.
Larry and Sergey accomplished something no one has ever done in their position. When I was younger Pacific Bell & AT&t had shown that the world's Fair in 1964 ( one year before I was born.). There was already call waiting, caller ID and group chat. But they never released them until the 1980s. I watch many inventions such as solar cells and wireless charging just sit on shelves even though popular science have published articles. Why? Greed! And Larry and Sergey, had seen the troubles their parents who are also in computer science had dealt with. By creating an inventing as fast as they could meant things would get done this time. Innovation would happen fast. In 2002 they started digitizing libraries from colleges, hidden religious orders, and government libraries. And following HG Wells own words helped contribute to a world brain that has now become Google Assistant. They showed that if you put the money aside and focus on innovation the world truly could be a better place. Best regards. MrJupiter65
i think OP is definitely a little too young … sergey and page were much more involved and outspoken in the early days of internet. they were certainly quite vocal in early 2000
To be honest people and the news don't talk about Google much anymore, unlike compared to ten fifteen years ago......Google doesn't seem to be doing much ..... That's why people have a hard time remembering their names....
Plus google is actually really old. It's from 1998, kind of dated for a tech company. But because they bought up so much of the Internet, as long as Internet 2.0 is a thing, they'll be profitable.
Larry and Sergey absolutely deserve more recognition in foster he internet age. However, I know that Larry and Sergey are actually enjoying their time outside of the spotlight.
The best way to be rich, for me at least. I wouldn't want everyone knowing how much money I have. Luckily I'm a hard working blue caller employee and a background character like the most of us.
