Thanks for saying that Hlumelo. On twitter, anti-white attitudes are extremely common. It is without a doubt made worse by the EFF and the ANC. This isn't a problem just faced by white people, however. All of my coloured friends say they have also received horrible racist treatment from black people. A lot of EFF and ANC voters think being black justifies racism. Racism of any kind is never justified. I'm a DA voter, and I would be incredibly happy if South Africa could become a truly non-racial country. Nobody likes discrimination, poverty or corruption. Many ANC and EFF voters don't want to recognise the failings of the government because of their anti-white prejudice. I don't vote ANC, but that is not because I'm racist, or anti-black, or anything like that. I don't vote ANC, because they are the reason that: we are without electricity for 6 hours daily, the police force is untrustworthy and corrupt, the state hospitals are rubbish, none of the roads and infrastructure are maintained, our currency is junk, and people have to rely on social grants because of poverty and joblessness. That's not a race issue; it's an ANC issue. I'd also like to add that I teach, and many of my students are black. I love them, and I want them to be successful in this failing country.

It seems like we have become too lazy to do anything. I live in a "good" neighbourhood and these people complain about everything. They will not lift a finger and just expect someone else to solve their problems.

A crude example of this mindset is from two separate comment threads that I saw. One thread was to a picture of foods from around the world and in Africa they showed a family with just plain grains and dried plants. There were comments there saying Afric@ns have a less developed sense of taste. Then on another thread it was on wyt American cooking that had no seasoning and there were comments saying it’s because wyt people have a more developed sense of taste. It’s a crude example yes but it’s the way the racist mindset operates. Niel degrasse Tyson spoke to this before about how racist scientists would take Europe@n characteristics as inherently more evolved even when they most closely resembled apes such as excessive body hair or thin lips and considered @frican characteristics regardless of whether they were uniquely human like full lips, or kinky hair as inherently less evolved. You can go to europe and find human skulls they collected from around the world and copious literature trying to put humanity on a hierarchy, racism was very elaborate. To equate it to other forms of prejudice and bigotry is to really dilute what it actually is.

I agree. Nobody was harmed by what she said. If she is arrested for making statements about blacks and their feelings are hurt then people should also be arrested for calling someone else ugly or stupid or saying anything that hurts another person's feelings. And then where will it end?

Since 1994 half Africa blacks (many with fake passport, id, drivers license, have emigrated to SA. BEE served them very well.
