get to work literally came out in the 2010’s so let’s not be surprised about the type of clothing in the pack🙈😂just goes to show the game is outdated. Loved the video
I would give them the same rating, the only one I really like is the home chef hustle but all of them gameplay wise they are ok good I wish they would remake or fix dine out but make it so if u already had it u would get the updated one free.
Something to add: the baking skill from get to work was ELIMINATED from gameplay with this last kitchen hustle stuff pack. Now, the only (useless) way to learn the skill is reading the baking book
Hi, could you please elaborate on that? I thought that the baking skill was obtained if you baked goods under the baking tag only. (Like the cooking and gourmet cooking skills.) I wonder because I don't know if I want to buy get to work someday or if I'd be better off creating a fake bakery by using the home chef hustle pack food stand and mods. (But this also means I'd buy home chef hustle that I don't have.)
@MirificentJoy hii. I must say, I have it in spanish as i'm from South America so maybe in english it's more clear and says "bake" or something. The only way I could gain the baking skill after the last update was first gaining it with the 1st book, then clicking the option "make recipie," very confusing. Let me tell you, Get to Work was my second expansion pack, I own 4. If what you look for is having a bakery and people eating there as you saw in the trailer, that's false advertising, not gonna happen that way. Careers are like dates, check boxes that are veeery repetitive. With all this said, I still wish you have a very nice time playing!
@@MirificentJoyYou do in fact get it by baking things under the baking menu. This person is incorrect, and no doubt has run into a bug due to mods or something.
I will controversially say, I like Cool Kitchen Stuff. I do use the counters, though rarely the cabinets, but I find myself using everything else in the pack a lot. And I was far more willing to put in a ice-cream machine than a microwave or coffee maker, not to mention the diet ice cream is good to use regularly, and I do play occults so like that we can use the ice cream to change someone to plantsims and ghosts. I don't know, I like it, I use it. That's like I like the Movie Hangout Stuff, all the things and clothes, but not so much usually the popcorn machine, though I have been using it lately to see food and on the selling table just because I can. Did a rags to riches with it. I don't have Home Chef Hustle, likely will be a Christmas present, but the main thing I see about it that is good is that the sims actually eat the food, that's really the only main appeal for me. But I can live without it. My niece got me back into Sims 4 somewhat but I'm still mainly playing Sims 3, sooooo... I can live without most of it.
Honestly feel ya on this comment. I was rooting for Cool Kitchen to win cause it was my favourite stuff pack with it's cas (most have better altswatches), spice rack, cutting board and counters. Tbh I feel like cool kitchen mostly got flack because people started to realise what EA was doing with the dlc for this game... oh well I can always convert the stuff to the sims 3
@@phanpy1002 OH! You're gooood... I actually cut out the vast majority of cc in Sims 2 and 3 so it would run faster. And it does. We tried it with and without, CAS especially because it takes so long to load it all, cutting out 3/4 of the cc and it works like a charm. I'll be honest, I got the pirated Store stuff and just a few extra hairs, and I've been good with that.
sims should make a skyscraper pack, maybe thats what the new house key pack clue is about. to build more than 4 storeys for hotels, towers, malls, castles, libraries
Yeah, I think that's what gets to me the most. I like Home Chef Hustle... but why not just update Cool Kitchen stuff a bit? Like updating the counters and adding new appliances/decorations? Instead, we have a bunch of kitchen packs where most people will only use one or two.
I built a gothic style home for a couple 'dark souls' to live in and I actually love the knife earrings for one of them who's room is "Halloween all year".
I’ve tested it and you can’t open the stand while the store is open BUT! If you open the stand while the store is closed you can basically combine HCH with Retail to create a more engaging Dine out.
I've never used cool kitchen stuff counters. I think they look awful. That's where home chef hustle shines for me. Sure it's recycled and reskinned content but I play on console. I need packs that make stuff look better.
I started playing wiith Home Chef Hustle... It's really fun and useful for making money when you just started. I'm doing like a cross pack thing.. so I'm farming in Henford-on-Bagley, and then selling jam and conserves on the HCH stand.
Home chef hustle is the best food pack in my humble opinion. If you want to get creative you can make a mini flea market with different food vendors many dishes.
I think all this shows is the later packs are better. Get to work, dine out and cool kitchen were from years ago and since then I do think there’s been more gameplay added to most packs.
I often use the get to work cas for male sims. I think the dine out furnitures is very good to build restaurant. You can change the table of that table/couch combo.
I mean they all are too small for their price point, but cool kitchen stuff was honest to it's name in being a "stuff" pack while Home Chef Hussle just didn't want to push the envelope and be a game pack since it really is a "gameplay" concept reduced to stuff. These pack 'names' mean literally nothing anymore. Get to work's concept is great, but get to work's WORLD is sad.
Satch is really chaotic with numbers in this video, eh? Combining bakery with HCH pack does improve the gameplay and the customers do use the tables to eat there. LOL
Your rating is really confusing. Are you rating them against each other or just out of a 1-10 scale? It sounds like they all basically suck, except the new one. But EA is not getting my $$, still I love to watch your rants!love ❤❤❤
The only review to listen to...why are they so obsessed with kitchens! And lately my sims will not baking white cakes and making freaking tea! There are certain objects they become obsessed with, basketball goal, cross-stitch, baking white cakes, brewing coffee or tea, knitting. My sims will cancel any action to do one of the other things. Half done cakes and cross-stitch all over the house!
Every time another sims comes to visit they start baking a white cake. In one of my saves the same sims were coming ti visit 2-3 times a day and I had so many cakes 😂 My sim ended up gaining so much weight because all she would eat was cake
No offence but, why did you keep putting 1/3 or 2/3 on the screen instead of out of ten? Surely out of 10 makes more sense for this kind of rating, I've never seen anyone rate things out of three lol
only one minute into the video and i'm wondering why'd they spread the kitchen content so thin like that instead of making a big pack with all those fun devices and food businesses (we know why, which also makes me wondering how people are ok with consuming lookalike dlcs constantly?? reminds me of mobile games so much) also sweet jesus the new cas is horrible i regret seeing it also YES the identical cabinet thing is so annoying
When is decor supposed to be useful? Also i think you should've taken the time the packs came out into consideration. Things that seem outdated werent outdated when it came out. The sims is getting old and trends change faster now more than ever
I'm getting very sick of you specifically lumping the new full kitchen pack in with the cool kitchen pack. They're not the same, obviously the new one is better. I really feel like you made that assumption based on the trailer and decided that it was reality? It's really weird and seems pretty poorly thought out. I get it, you wanna rag on the new pack but this is getting old. It went from some comments towards the trailer, to making the same comments upon release, and now you're making a specific video about it? Why are you so hung up on them being soooooo similar? Is horse ranch the same as cottage living because you have to care for livestock in both? Is get to work the same as the star wars pack because you can go to another planet and do nothing on it?
@@MarleyBarbie918 Good luck being a model seeing as you're unable to even hold your phone steadily enough to take a proper photo of yourself in the mirror. Thank goodness they hire actual professionals to take photos of the *same thing* over and over and over and over again.
