The good recruiters follow a professional process where they always provide closure to their applicants. The bad recruiters never close the loop, for whatever reason.

“Good” recruiters are skilled enough to hold down real jobs. They leave recruiting.

After giving up on recruiters I had one messaging me saying he dislikes such recruiters and how he is different, how he cares about people he contacts and always provides feedback. He gave me hope again and I had the call with him talking about my career and stuff. Guess how it ended? He was no different, never called me back or even sent any follow up mail. Only years later when I had more experience and when I was finally interesting on the market, headhunters started to respect me and providing feedback.

Recruiters spam u then randomly pick a person as qualified candidate because recruiters have a degree and passion in Bible study, not Java programming.

hi @Koushik, What is the course you will suggest for becoming an expert in System Design Architecture from beginner level to expert? You were talking about fault tolerance, resilient, load balancing, single point of failures in tutorial "Spring Boot Microservices". I am looking for similar kind of course, and need to understand more in terms of System Design perspective. Why don't you try making a tutorial for that? It would be appreciated much.

Hi. Love your videos. Can you make a video on how to create a custom scope in java spring boot for a class. Thanks

i actually ask for a feedback after every failed interview. so many people being so defensive is the reason why people are fearful of being upfront.

some recruiters are very unscrupulous and will just ghost you.

This bloody channel took my money. Hey please beware of payment when u do to Java brains. I paid 799 to this for subscription by using my icici debit card. There were no auto pay options but I got deducted again. When he is taking 799 rs per month it self I had doubt. I thought I never chose any option how it will happen. This man know this small loop and collecting money.

If a job seeker asks directly for feedback, would you then give it?

I recently had a 'brilliant' idea to ask the recruiter at the end of the interview 'What made them interested in my application'. Well...the HR person who screen-interviewed me last time had been put on spot with this question and I in turn had a real fun listening to his answer. I would hope HR selects candidates for an interview after proper analysis of their cv...but unfortunately it is not the case in my experience.

This recruiter didn't answered the question. Same thing happened again

What do you mean? She mentioned two reasons why - there may not a definite no from the hiring manager. Or the recruiter doesn't want the candidate getting defensive about feedback. You may not agree with it, but the answer was indeed given :)
@samchaco2

Sure she did: 1. Hiring Manager doesn't get back 2. Candidates get defensive and don't take feedback 3. Candidates who take the feedback positively expect a second chance.

How can you say this is an answer. Her statement "The candidate get defensive", who is asking for complete feedback. Recruiter don't even let candidate know yes or no they ghost them. Least a candidate expects after giving interview is yes or no. Hiring manager doesn't say definite "NO" ? She could have explained major reason behind that ...
@OCamlChad
@OCamlChad Год назад
@@schrodinger744 all of those were already explained: people get ghost because it's mostly HM, and she gave 3 major reasons why HM don't have definite no. You also proved her point that people cant accept feedback, in this case not being satisfied with the details. Imagine having to deal with this back and forth messaging with a hundred or more applicants who keep asking for more details, especially if they're hiring on a rolling basis.
