Exactly, what IS true is that the Cell Saga was supposed to be Goku’s last arc as the MC, then the backlash to Gohan came in.

Being honest if Daima has OG dragon ball vibes I’d be happy. I’m glad that super hero focused on characters other than Goku and Vegeta but I feel that super was writing itself into a power trap and was constantly juggling to keep from doing so. If Daima has a good story I’ll definitely give it a chance without all the power levels and transformations.

Vocal fans on youtube, not = all of the fans or majority, just the most vocal perhaps most hard core fans, not the most fans or vast majority, also lets not forget many fans are now middle age men. Nothing wrong with that, but they want new fans they need new fans to keep Dragon ball going.

The lack of promotion from Daima is the biggest issue. Especially since this is the last project Toriyama was heavily involved with.

Idk man. I'm not a person who boycotts anime because of its fans, but i feel like DragonBall fans are so ungrateful. We're eating so good with all this new content. We've got the manga, daima, xv2 still getting updates, and now sparking zero. Until battle of gods, DragonBall had been over since the 90s, like, what are ppl complaining for?
