When it's revealed that new guy Martin has been in prison, everyone has questions.
From Season 3 Episode 9: THE CONVICT - Michael (Emmy-nominee Steve Carell) tries to be supportive after learning that one of the new employees is an ex-convict, but gets upset when the staff starts to compare the office to prison. Meanwhile, Jim (John Krasinski) "coaches" Andy (guest star Ed Helms) when he decides to make a play for Pam (Jenna Fischer). Written by British series creators Stephen Merchant and Ricky Gervais.

Working as a correctional officer for 2 years in Texas Prisons no he wouldn’t. The pod boss would put his type to work.

also only some got free time. most were in cells for 23hrs a day and sometimes would get Rec for 1hr and most of the time it was the same thing everyday.

Why would Dwight ask Mike to do a background check? Dwight works for the Sheriff's department. The Sheriff's department has access to that information. Secondly Dwight would not do well in prison.

Ketchup in pruno is not a good idea. I've said it a million times. The salt and acidity is not a good environment for the propagation of yeast. You need a guy in the kitchen to pour sugar in his pubes then do a low rinse back in the cell with minimal water. That sweet sweet syrup.
