Tbh the whole concept of tactical squadrons is flawed, the new us line and supercarriers aren't affected by lost planes when they can just constantly cycle tactical squadrons that don't have any effect on reserves. Just feels like they were created for scrubs who were being deplaned halfway through the game.

i dont use these mods anymore but the ship health is mods from aslains modpack installer. the the minimap enlargement is simply done by pressing the + and - on your keyboard

4:20 literally same thing happened to me twice in a row. One squadron doing about 50k nearly undeniable damage (not counting floods). Essex Citadel is non existent, outdamages most cvs AND has support flights on top. What exactly is the weakness of essex to play around?
• saving DFAA for her TBs and abusing the fact that her strongest squad is her TBs alone • tactical squadron is a one-time use per attack and have to wait about 1-2 minutes for recharge. if TBs are depleted, she has to sit and wait • Essex has ZERO armor (30mm at most on her extremities). at tier 10, this is very dangerous and can be focused down quickly. • Essex long range AA is very weak making her prone to cv snipes
Hey Rei, do you know what are the stats for fighter planes? (HP specifically) and if so, are they the same as any other CV or do they vary? I’m just curious
gonna use Essex as the example. this is without SE skill: TX CV fighters have 203 HP per plane and 7 in the fighter squadron = 1,421 HP Essex fighters have 1300 HP and 9 plane in the squadron = 13,950.

I see your point on the Essex TBs, but what makes Essex’s ability to kill a BB with one TB squad any different than FDR’s ability to kill a BB with one TB squad?
This video kinda shows how cvs as a class are broken. The FDG at 4:20 had 0 counter play to the CV and just watched as he was killed. It really sucks when you position yourself well and a CV can just kill you lol.
As for broken..yes and no...yes Cv can go deal damage when someone are alone or with less affective AA....And No..old Cv are way more scary than new one..which can one shot with full squadron of Dbs and TBs
Please stop with the nerf talk! You’re an exceptional player, most of use are maybe average. The Yorktown should be buffed, as well as the Hornet. It’s hard enough trying to get new players to be interested in CVs.
ships should be nerfed on their capabilities and damage output, regardless if the average player can perform or not. Essex torpedo bombers are clearly too powerful for a supposedly "support" carrier.
