Hey guys, welcome to my channel. I am a Community Contributor for World of Warships PC. I upload commentaries, replays, guides, etc. Hope you enjoy your time on my channel :)
Bought 4 containers, 3 from doubloons and 1 from coal and lucked out getting this ship :D:D Anyways I'm wondering why you didn't choose to get the torp speed increase from the captain skill. I reckon the alert fire 1sp is less valuable when your playstyle mostly consist of hiding around islands.
The ship is strong but I don't like it because the potential of division with a carrier or multiple such ships. The game is balanced with 1 CV in the game. Having multiple ships that can non-stop sending out planes is just too degenerate gameplay.
Still struggling to choose between aircraft prep mod or consumable mod for Essex. I like the plane tempo on the former but the extra smokes and fighters is also nice to have.
Try consumables mod and play a bit slower, and try Tactical -> TB -> Tactical -> TB rotation. Predrop with TB until heal is ready. This rotation lets you have a tactical squadron always available while also having TB heal up as well. Essex isn't a CV to push up like how soviet's are so she can play further back. This lets your rotations be a bit slower but more comfortable in terms of timing.
I don't think CVs should be included in ranked tbh. Ranked emphasises positioning and tactics (or its meant to lol) so the inclusion in ranked of CVs and subs kinda ruins that.
I'm pretty sure navies of the world thought carriers shouldn't be included in naval warfare too. Those who embraced it prevailed those who stuck to old ways perished. Stop being a early 1920s old blood admiral.
@@mehmetsahsert3284 hate to break it to you but its a video game where something called "Game Balance" is a factor. I didn't say Subs and CVs should be removed entirely. Just from game modes where small numbers of ships are involved so Carriers can't have disproportionate impact on the outcome of the game.
@@mehmetsahsert3284 BuH m@ H1$T0rYcAL AcCuR2cY. that's you. you should also cry for 50vs50 matches with 30 of the players being Destroyers screening for the capital ships while at it. Cuz that's how many ships a strike force would have in Naval Warfare.
I really appreciate aa cc showing bad games. It can sometimes help even more than what you see from most educational ccs which are basically randstomps.
I run maybe the wackiest yorktown build and it is so much fun. When your primary squadrons are both tactical you can actually get away with a hidden menace AS build and troll the hell out of enemy CVs
Nice overview. And that icehockey rink on your Lexington's flight deck almost made me fall off my chair from laughng so hard. I had no idea such an amusing camo was in the game. 🤣🤣🤣
There is not a whole lot of options for tier 6: Ryujo Bearn E. Lowenheat Independence Ark Royal That's it. And for tier 10: just play Nahkimov. Your other option could be Inmelman. But the other Carriers are not as good as those 2.
If I remember correctly, community contributors/streamers could play Graf Zeppelin in advance and made videos praising it as very good and strong. WG than released it and it turned out that they had made massive changes inbetween so Graf Zeppelin was now shit
@@adamantu Not only that, they f*ked up so bad that they had to release other versions of the GZ to the live server just to test it out... In the end, they nuked every aspect of the ship in order to balance it's awesome secondaries... The AP bomb drop is inconsistent, the torpedoes are powered by a MEEHH engine and the rockets are so freaking generic middle of the road that they make the torpedoes look decent
I love the AvP simply because it feels more consistent over the MvR. When I play the MvR somedays i just rely mainly on torpedoes for everything cuz i'm tired of the dive bomb RNG.
Dont stop there! These idiots need a LOT of hand holding on how to actually play them! There is only 1 out of 50 that play CV's and have a clue what they are doing! They are the bane of this game!
As a CV main cadet (slowly improving on AA avoidance) and getting into the game after the Enterprise event (Damn It!), I do agree with your take on CV choices. The only thing I will bring forward is your take on the Aquila. I run her with rocket plane main. I find I can dev strike T6 & T7 and 70 - 80% T8 &T9 cruisers on one pass. When my Combat Mission requires Citadels, I always take out the Aquila to rack'em up quickly.
is there any tips for british cv, they are so hard to play, very low damage, very low speed their rocket aircraft are slow as bombers and small capacity as well, how do i play them...
Incapable is the worst t8 by a mile, just don't play it... Everything is bad, from plane count to total dmg, just free xp the heck out of it... The saddest part is that Audacious is really good imho, it fixes all the issues of the Incapable and it's a really fun and forgiving cv to play
The idea of the british Cv was a DOT (damage over time) line... You would start fires with the carpet bombing (every bomb has a chance of fire, so the more the better) and flood with the torpedoes... The thing is that it does not work really well because of the R button and your planes being slow af... The vision was: Your planes are tanky, so you can drop two people in one go and start fires... Both press R and now you have almost no dmg and, since your planes are slow, you can't reaply your dots over them in a reliable way... That's why Audacious and Furious are good, Furious is dealing with low lvl ships that are slow so you can reaply dots, and Audacious have the firepower to stand it's ground
@@Fc31_still_better_bruh ah man I really like audacious tbh, it's not bad by a mile (the mvr is the worst t10) but it will not make crazy amount of dmg... It's just reliable, planes are tanky so you can make mistakes and still do dmg, the carpet bombing (when it works) is satisfying and the ship overall is nice, it's just sit back and relax gameplay
For F2P players, I recommend Pobeda, Lexington, Shoukaku. These three are very strong carriers who focus on different things so adjust the ship picks depending on how many of a certain class of ship you're facing.
Wish you or someone had this out before I got Theseus and Kaga... wouldn't had brought them. Good guide for us newbies like me. (only been in the game for three weeks now)
