The EU ambassadors have visited China, in particular Chengdu, to learn how China has increased food security through agricultural innovations. China is the only country who is successful in using new technologies to increase crop yield in wheat production in arid land and to prevent desertification. The EU is looking for cooperation with China in agricultural development for a better future.
