Bs environmental pollution localised horaha hai in case of EV right now. For example I live in Noida so with ICE Cars the pollution is literally on your face and nose whereas with EV there's no pollution on my face at least. Rest I know ev too pollutes the environment but atleast not on my face directly but later on with proper Setup of green energy it would be much better.
you could've added one more point to this, the manpower depending upon ice vehicles, from oem to roadside repair shops. they earn their livelihood from this. EV's will break this chain very hard, as there are no consumables to replace.
EVs still have tires, brakes, suspensions, wipers, lights, body paint, etc. which are common with combustion cars so some employment is still secured. You are right that there are fundamentally less parts to wear out in an EV but battery material recycling factories will also employ some people. Only time will tell the full impact on employment of people dependent upon automotives
I use to think why the car / truck / earth mover companies are not using generator to power Electric Vehicle ( I.e. Hybrid Vehicle ) . This type of Vehicle will not give rang anxiety.
I agree to the point of keeping it in series for hybrid... I always thought why don't companies create an effective low cost high output generator and use battery pack and motor in Hybrids... That makes thing simple and efficient. Back in the days in my childhood i thought of keeping genset in electric Reva to make is hybrid. 😂

Go research man. English padhna, samajhna aata hai na? What the heck so you know on the levels of pollution generated in making those billions of battery packs? And the pollution created to produce enough electricity? FYI, most electri city is generated from coal-fired projects. No govt can generate/supply enough power to all the needy..industries, residences, farmers and mow, all those EVs. Infra for power distribution and its maintenance in itself is a huge thing. When DISCOs increase the power rates, you'll start doing your disco. Can you imagine what gigantic used battery pack pile-ups would you have?
Can you please make a video on why EVs are so costly? Especially two wheelers. If battery comes at 32k why should the whole scooter come at 1.5 lakh or more? I feel it's pure profiteering and some kind of fraud. Please explain.

I guess we must focus on retrofitting, India is birth place of jugad technique, jugad when done professionally is called retrofitting, we produce so many engineers but not able to solve technical problems. We had engineers, in railways a 1950 diesel loco technology was pushed to its limits, from 2200hp to 3600hp more than 1.5x increase, a simple most basic diesel electric loco was evolved so much that it was fitted with advanced microprocessor controls. If we could do that why not save money and resources by adopting retrofitting method, I would say it's more profitable business than direct new vehicle manufacturing.

Thanks for making videos on this topic. I had discussion/debate with my elder brother he said there will be reason that's why it's evolving. I gave reason about load on electric grid but he said there is already a lot of electric charging station even in villages, and he also said that energy efficiency is more in thermal power plant than vehicle engine as we produce in bulk, we can manage load by renewables. Even i Said about that much of batteries waste he said if china can recycle them 100% we can do it too. .Srry for bad English.
मैंने एक साल पहले इलैक्ट्रिक स्कूटर लिया जिसको 5000 किलोमीटर चलाया लगभग एक साल में तथा उसके बाद नई बैटरी डलवानी पड़ गई 13000/ रुपये की तो प्रति किलोमीटर खर्च लगभग 2.5 रुपये आया जिसमें चार्जिंग का बिल शामिल नहीं है। फिर भी प्रति किलोमीटर खर्च पेट्रोल स्कूटर या बाईक के बराबर या उससे कुछ अधिक ही है।
