Very useful fo rsome but be aware that driving with the tailgate down will decrease your MPGs. Has something to do with the aereodynamics.

Plastic flanged pivots on extender are JUNK.. mine broke off. Seems all brands of extenders are made this cheap way. I re-engineered mine, turning some aluminum flanged pivots on a lathe to replace the cheap plastic pivots.

I used to have a Nissan truck with a bed extender. Over time, it proved to be the most gadget on the vehicle.

Possibly, depends on what those pillars look like on the Dodge. I didn’t know they made a drill-less option till I saw it on Amazon, I’d check there or through Amp Research 👍🏼

I like Fords bed extender better because it gives you third option. It will open up and fold behind your wheel wells.

Very practical. Extends every truck's bed by 2 feet. And if a strap ever broke while hauling a bike, that would be pretty handy for keeping it on the truck. lol

My Ford came with a bed extender and it's OK! Most of the time it's a pain in the butt!

I worked at several large format shops. No way are you fitting 4'X8' pieces of anything in the bed, even with it flipped. Almost all full sized trucks have indents in the side for 2"X whatever height you want to slide in to keep our stuff in the rear for easy access.

Full size piece of plywood fits width wise just fine, but length, yeah it’s either setting angled on the tailgate or on the bed extender.

hey... cool vids, but i honestly think the Block crew should do a 2nd channel for all the non MC content. keep the main channel for motorcycles.

Running 1 channel is enough of a challenge. Also, people said this for my Tacoma content as well, but those videos have a lot of views, as they perform well long term, and they also got a lot of Tacoma people interested in motorcycles, and vice versa. We also recently introduced the 78’ Trans Am which we’re going to be building on the channel. So while we started with and love motorcycles, that love for motorsports extends to other vehicles as well 👍🏼

Don't you know that when you have a tailgate that isn't dampened you're supposed to release the latch and they just let it slam down? That's what all the people reviewing new trucks do.

That is so much better. "Here's why every truck...?" I didn't need a bed extender on my F-250 camper special, with regular cab and long bed, I just put a camper on it, and nobody could see the two motorcycles in the back.

@@BlockheadMoto Options are good, like the tool box I sometimes used would shorten 8' bed to what is now considered a "long" bed at 6'5". I could have used something like that many times, when using the tool box. Can't ride in the back like the old days, and three is the limit before crooked boss man has to pay for workman's comp, so need big cab to hide day labor. Sorry, had to vent.
