I've started running super poly as a generic board breaker, might even run a Loving Defender in non-Yubel decks. My Horus Tears are just about keeping up.
this is true, but i think the main reason is the super long combo of yubel deck. so many time wasted when you encounter such decks especially if youre second
19:41 Bystials never get outdated. Especially it can stop Yubel combo at some points. Also to counter freaking Tearlament, which is still lurking in Ranked.
I can't think of an example of where I've seen it before but my only issue with engines is when they seem to take up more deck space/priority than the actual archetype they're playing
The thumbnail shouldn't incite players to play the same deck. This will only make meta weeklies boring and repetitive. Something that its not good for monetizating your videos, Dykaed. It's like shooting your own feet... Then, you'll be forced to make a ban of a key card of the deck (like you did with Poplar weeks ago) just to have a refreshing tournament.
We need more gamba decks... tier format was so fun... you cant convince me wrong - except getting rid of the gravekeeper cards... The endboards are always the same now for like 2 months. Enjoy
Honestly it’s not really Yubel stuff itself that I find issue but rather the engines it abuses and meshes too well with. Like an Appo a bunch of unchained stuff Yubel cards. Oh and freaking Super Poly. I’m not even sure how I would fix this if I was in control of the ban list. Besides Super Poly that card needs to go long before Yubel

I don’t understand why you have 15 monsters in your extra deck when you only use 1 or 2, I had a deck that had to many options and I had to condense it down to either go Yubel or Sacred Beasts/ Armityle.
You could also play Yubel and Chimera send the samora with the flying Chimera fusion send samsore to grave link to muck and special summon samora important parts is to not active baphomet effect after special summon or you will be lock into fusion just special summon Chimera add fusion spell and then go from there cool synergy
I ended up liking Yubel way more than I ever thought I would, like WAY more. Makes me almost feel stupid for wanting VV more than Yubel. I still really want VV though. Sounds like it will for sure finally be in August pack.
I dont think the deck is too bad but the fusion is definitelyyyyy wayyyy to accessible…. It should only be ableto be made with material from field/ grave not the hand
This deck runs a single combo and it’s so stupid. Hell, the game itself is so stupid at this point. Has anyone had a game where it goes past turn 2, turn 3 at best?
I don’t think the deck is that good because the board is way to easy to out for the enemie Sometimes one handtrap or imperm and call by the crave and you can scoop
Build mikanko. Yubel will infest the ladder and eventually get cards on the ban list. Mikanko is a disgusting go second deck that destroys boards and won’t ever have cards on the ban list. Never chase meta.
@@seph2686 You do realize that mikanko is a hard counter to yubel right? I uses mikanko and I almost always win against them and make yubel player forfeit. Just have mikanko x kaiju and kaiju field spell waterfront thing and you be good
We not even QUIET 😂 yubel is just new and cheap so you queue into often but it’s really not on SEFK level. I have no trouble with yubel especially since that deck loses to one interruption majority of the time unless their starting hand can bait 😂 don’t disrespect snake eyes like that ever again we only lose to shifter/GY lock
so in the tcg do u just sit down draw and shout cards at your opp until someone leaves because its not a game if it doesnt go pass turn 4-5 its just an imaginary tennis match

Can someone explain to me how yubel popping itself negates everything? It says pop itself and search, why does it negate Maxx C, Ash, monster effect, monster reborn, other negates… why is it’s effect treated as a negate tech? Makes no sense to me, I got a few matches I saved for proof of my concern. MD has to fix that, big issue imo. ( Ex. yubel on field, opponent Normal summons beckoning into search, you ash the search, yubel pops itself, negates the ash ) why is that a thing? I even ran starry knights, it negates my negate on the spell I was negating by popping itself, makes absolutely no sense.
Are you talking about Phantom of Yubel? Its self-tribute effect overwrites the monster effect it responds to. Ergo, the original effect is no more. This is just how it works, it's not a bug.
I agree to go for yubel, new account will have better time moving forward and it's a plus that you can combine centurion parts and free swordsoul deck for early rank games.
Yubel has a bad match up on kash. Climbed to master III in 2 days of kash on the ladder. Most yubel decks can’t keep up with a live dimensional fissure
I play mikanko x kaiju and lava golem deck and imma tell you that mikanko is a hard counter to yubel as long as you dont brick which is 10% of the time. Every time I face yubel I almost always win and make my opponent forfeit cuz I just either kaiju my opponent yubel or I just simply play mikanko and no monster get destroyed cuz yubel isnt the only one that force your opponent to attack cuz my mikanko field spell card does the same thing and make my opponent to attack and if my opponent tribute my monster to summon their yubel from the extra deck it still gonna have 0 attack so I would still be fine and i can always bring back my mikanko the next turn I lost like 3 time again yubel due to bricking and only drew equip card that are useless to me and kaiju
Actually.. I had a great day against them.. Many players use it on the ladder and I found out the deck was having a hard time handling traps. My Lab was really having fun.
Someone explain to me how Konami/yugioh! Is hypothetical! They don’t like cards that inflicts attack damage, so they banned Amazoness archer, Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, catapult turtle but yet they have decks like yubel and mikanko that basically does the same thing?
@@hibiya-chan7854 yeah. Been opening hands of straight yubel or nothing but hand traps. My end boards have been looking sad as hell. Often just Phantom with imperm and ash in hand, or just unchained engine.
I dont hate it i actually enjoy an anime archetype is top tier, but is it difficult to keep down once they get going, especially if you run 0 hand traps -_-
I almost won against a Yubel deck with Labrynth by grinding the game to a crawl. Got rid of Accesscode Talker and S:P Little Night thanks to Underworld Goddess (linked with the latter, negated the former's boost), and cancelled out Yubel through Skill Drain. Had my opponent not linked into Yama, I would have survived longer than the 14-or-so turns the duel took. Still, my Swordsoul deck's Protos was able to defeat a Yubel deck entirely by locking it out of Dark monsters from Turn 1.
My kids came back to my house with my old ps4 that had my old masterduel account on it that had my old runick deck on it , so i thought id have a go with it . And to my surprise against yubel its been whooping its ass everytime , its doing well but certain decks wanna be banished so not so good against kashtira , floow and branded .
@@sabermaster2761 not really. most URs are going to be in the Extra Deck. Although I will say that it isn't the fastest deck anymore. You can combo really well as all the tellar monsters are Level 4s, but ideally you want to be going second. even then you need like three cards to get trivver out. and that's not accounting for all the hand traps out there.
Yubel is a pretty nice addition to the game because its actually engaging and interesting while also being super cheap. Decks like this even make the insufferably whiny playerbase a little more bearable.

Currently in diamond. My build is tweek'd from the youtuber ACE Yugioh who has a Neos/Yubel deck profile for MD, which I believe is more competitive, and hand trap splashable - go check his video if you want maxx c and call bys. But the gist is what i've written.
I play Lair Bystial (with Super Poly and Viruses) and I have yet to lose to Yubel lol They have nothing for DDV/FFV. All their monsters are destroyed and they get to summon what, Garnet Yubels? I Super Poly them into Garura or Predaplants. Squirmer in the grave? I'll just banish it with Bystials. Back row? I have EEV, Harpie's, Lightning Storm, and Evenly, and they have no spell/trap negates (only monster). They summon? I tribute for cost (non-target non-destruction removal) with Lilith to get more Viruses. They have Rage in the GY? I steal it with Dharc and Link their stuff. This is on top the free info of looking at their hand. My deck is bad in the current meta, but it's such an easy matchup against Yubel. I can make misplays and STILL win.
I wish people would stop making videos encouraging people to net deck and copy list. Takes the spirit out of the game. I enjoy the turnies but why give people decklist? Its sad you and other good players think this is ok
