Why Faruzan Has HUGE ISSUES & What I'd CHANGE (Discussion) | Genshin Impact 3.3 

Edit: I know Faruzan's passive makes her Skill-CA apply Anemo RES shred -- for only 4s, which is barely time for Wanderer or Xiao to enjoy the debuff. Which is what I meant by most of her utility is locked behind her Burst. Her Burst is the only way for her to shred Anemo RES for longer than 4s. Congrats if you have C6 Faruzan, you win the game

I'm pretty sure that the devs created Bennet, Xingqiu and Xangling and then added their constellations. And I'm also pretty sure the devs created Faruzan and then took from her kit to create constellations.

It's the classic "Create a problem then sell the solution" strategy. It is not targeting giant sea creatures who c6 everything no matter what, it is trying to push low spenders and f2p players into spending more.

I think Hoyo got greedy with Scara and Faruzan. They knew players were excited about Scara and it's my belief that they made his custom support as rough as possible unless you pull out the wallet and go all the way to c6. It's well within Hoyo's right to do that, but I'm also glad that Faruzan's issues are being called out by content creators.

She spent a century in a puzzle, now she'll spend a century in my backpack until i get her C6

All genshin content creators need to make this kind of discussion instead of just pulling or doing showcase

How they made it right with Gorou after fumbling with Sara then reverting back and making even worse decisions is such a head-scratcher to me... Well, not really. We all know why.

Personally, I would make C0 Faruzan generate 2 particles when the skill hits AND with she charge shots. That way people can choose to either build a lot of ER or deal with clunky mechanics. Right now, we have to do both. I completely agree with your constellation suggestions, though. It would make me actually want to pull her.

It really breaks my heart because we veteran Xiao mains and also mains of all other anemo characters have been waiting and hoping for our own dedicated anemo support for a year or more. Since Gorou appeared and since he was so good compared to Sara, we've been dreaming to get our own as a solution to our favorite element falling behind (as DPS, swirl supports will always be fine). Even since Heizou was rumored to be the next anemo, we thought that would be it, but turns out he was a DPS too. I got over quickly since he's so fun, and I thought having two anemo carries was pretty good and added to the hope of a support in the future (one made just for Xiao, a character Hoyo doesn't help often, was extremely unlikely after 2 reruns with nothing new). Now Scaramouche being anemo and coming with Faruzan is what I theorized it would be: an anemo support was bound to come with the next 5* anemo carry, and beneficial for Xiao and Heizou too. But of course, this happens after this long year of waiting... they did us horribly dirty, and did my grandma Faruzan dirty too. And of course, being a huge green dmg anemo fan (Xiao main, DPS Venti main, Scara enjoyer, Kazuha spoiled rotten) the RNG got me what I deserved: exactly one copy of Faruzan after one Diluc, one Wanderer, and 25 single pulls afterwards and counting. As a welkin-only goldfish I'm losing my mind. I'm coping with her c0 with 280-ish% ER, triple anemo in the team and fav lance on Zhongli, but I'm so jealous of the crit dmg buff and the battery parts of her c6! Hell, I'd even settle with c2 on this banner but it's not looking good. I just feel in my bones that I miiiight succumb to FOMO and fall into Hoyo's trap, and end up topping up a couple of times by Christmas and whaling for her cons and more of Scara. Nevermind endgame content, getting c13 Gorou and c12 Yanfei is what's giving me anxiety nowadays

In general, they should design units so that the only constellation that hard changes the character's playstyle or identity is c1(or MAYBE c2). And then the rest of the constellations just make them more of what they are. Usually they do pretty well at that - even for more controversial characters. For some reason they failed that disastrously on Faruzan. lol

Sadly, this feels like Hoyo knew there were many people wanting to pull for Scara, so they tied his best support with him with the shittiest constellations we've seen so you feel pressured to keep pulling for her, getting some other cons for Scara and realising that you're a C1 and really close to that C2, so you keep pulling (and spending) I hate it, and I even feel really bad about pulling Scara, but he's not really at fault here. I might not use Faruzan and that's the end of it

I find her very fun to play and am having success playing her in a freeze team with Wanderer, Xingqiu and Layla. The extra energy they generate (Xingqiu's sac sword double E + Layla's starlight slugs) make it much easier for Faruzan to burst off cooldown at C0. With Layla's shield I can comfortably sling charged shots. I don't even feel the need to try and pull her C4 or C6 it's so smooth to play. However I agree she def has issues that limit her potential. I think the easiest fix would be to just lower her burst cost like they did with Zhongli?

Perhaps they should add an "Epitomized fate" system to character banners so every 20th summon (if you did 't get the 4*you wanted) you'd get the focused 4*

I have never truly appreciated the usefullness of Sara's teleport until Faruzan. The fact that you get to reposition and do your core mechanic was a hidden blessing.

unpopular opinion but i like the charge shot mechanic as it makes her feel like a bow user but i wish the grouping was better to incentivize using it. I agree her C6 does too much and shouldve been spread out more throughout other constellations. Finally, i truly believe she would feel so much better if they simply made her ascension stat ER. All in all i really like faruzan but she definitely has issues that I think warranted this video

Tbh these design fixes locked behind c6 look to be very intentional, and have been evolving to come to this point with the 4 stars that have been releasing. If you look at it, most 4 stars (especially supports) that are very well rounded are from earlier in the game, while now we get very niche supports that become really good at c6, and any 4 star that's not a niche support isn't considered very good. With Sara and Gorou that trend was kinda starting, it's just that now it's become blatantly obvious that's the strategy hoyo is going for, with said niche supports getting more appealing and, possibly in the future, necessary fixes to their kits locked behind constellations, and unfortunately I think it's only gonna get worse from here (also that trend can be seen in signature 5 star weapons that are starting to become really niche to fit only their respective characters)

Wait a minute, Sara, who has the same E mechanic generates more particles than Faruzan? That doesn't sound right...

unfortunately this is going to keep happening in the future with 4 star character. its kinda surprising that it took them this long for this agressive monetization.

All they had to do was make the particle generation from her skill cast when it hits enemies so then you’d be funneling particles while doing your charged attack.

Pretty sure many Xiao mains included myself said " Just need a good support for Xiao " at least once. Hoyoverse took it seriously and said: "Now c6 it and you got what you need"

I just hope we don't see more chars like this .. Having a good con is something and having an essential part of the kit locked with high Con is something else ..

If they let her get 2 particles when she cast her skill that hit people, and 3 when she shoots her charged attack. Or drop her burst cost Her c1 should make it where the charged shot does 2 suction things, back to back. So you wouldn't need to fire a 2nd shot. Less clunky and a little more grouping

Thanks for having the courage to post the cons of a character (Hoyoverse might be watching). More RU-vidrs (like Tenten) should have the balls to do the same as you instead of just guide videos. I learned my lesson to never wish for 4 stars if I’m not aiming for the 5 star. My Xiao’s team is full & a lot of future characters to save for.

In my opinion Faruzan somehow manages to be worse than Sara in terms of gameplay. While Sara does need a decent amount of ER, it's really not as much as Faruzan and electro resonance helps, plus she pairs well with Raiden who restores her energy. Sara also doesn't depend on aiming to give teammates her atk buff, she can just use her skill and switch to a teammate.

I love your videos Sevy ^^ , you are always so considerate with all the characters at the moment to create the guide, specially the 4 stars. I actually can´t stop listening you talk about Faruzan and her crazy C6, and I didn't even cared about the character before your guide XD Now I will be waiting the next time to get more constellations. I fully agree with the comments you mentioned. This type of business decisions are so, so non-F2P friendly... I really wanted more constellations for her, but I'm afraid to not get them or instead getting more 4-stars weapon copies and/or constellations for 4-stars characters that I'm not interested/already had them at full. (I'm still traumatized with Tighnari's and Nahida's banners because I have had A LOT of Fischl's and Razor's unnecessary copies, inclusive OUTSIDE these banners, that I'm really really afraid on wishing in any banner right now 😆😆😆) Your discussion videos are really necessary for us to make good primogems management. small note: from the clip at 10:40, it looks like pressurized collapse triggered by c6 only generates particles every other collapse, or every 6s, which is equal in particle generation to using her skill off cooldown, though this is really only relevant for heizou, since you wouldn't want to swap the other two boys out that quickly. similarly, at 8:43: pressurized collapse charged shots DO still apply anemo res shred

now I know this is incredibly niche and not her intended gameplay pattern, but I wanted to say that her C1 does let her have incredible synergy with Thundering Fury 4pc, and kinda turns her into a Anemo version of Ganyu. it's truly delightful, has to be seen to be believed

Easy how to fix Faruzan: bench her for the rest of your life

80 cost burst, 2 particles and low on-field time , no ER ascension stat. Such a sad kit for such a neat character.

Managed to C6 Faruzan and at the same time C3 Scara. Her constellations came early and I have to admit that I'm actually very lucky with 4s characters 😅 It's a relief that I managed to pull her C6 and I actually never tried her gameplay preC6 because of TCs prerelease evaluation. Still, I am using her with 270 ER and I dont have problem with rotations. Her burst is already full for the next one but when I tried using Harp (220 ER) with the Thunder Manifestation at Abyss, I noticed that sometimes I have to do one charge before Burst. This while at the same time using Fav on Zhongli. Maybe skill issue but I'm settling for that 270 ER instead (Elegy)

my guess is that they made the aim shot mechanic so that you don’t have to rely on autotargeting and can choose where it lands. i just wish it wasn’t necessary for particles - though i suppose then people probably wouldn’t use the charge shot much at all, which perhaps hoyo wanted to avoid. i’m just imagining a group of small hilichurls and a lawachurl a little bit separated, and it focusing on the bigger one instead of the ones that could actually be grouped and interrupted w pressurized collapse. ;-; her c6 at least targets with you and has multiple “chances” to hit enemies you want with sara too, her charge shot is definitely clunky but i just have to imagine how frustrating it would be (for showcases anyway) if the buff got messed up, (pre-c2, anyway) considering genshin isn’t known for having the best targeting system. you want to hit the enemy, but you also want to self-buff. getting to choose when only one is an option is nice - imagine having to run to an enemy to make sure you got the buff for a ranged character!!! also, in co-op it is nice to be able to shoot at where your partner is to give them the buff. still hate to play it, though, but i’m guessing that’s why. i assume that’s also why they’re bow characters, so they can make use of aiming buffs, unlike gorou or shenhe, whose buffs are regional or character stack based (which to me are much more preferred ngl. a - bigger - pressurized collapse centering on the active character would’ve been just fine, considering the kits of the anemo dps atm. but considering that they wanted the collapses to be so small, centering around the character wouldn’t make sense, and that choice probably cemented the bow+aimshot mechanic)

The charged shot skill would really grind my gears if I played a team with her. The solution, also gratingly, is right there - replace the charged shot requirement with a Yelan C6-like mechanic, just make the next normal or two Do The Thing™, preferably AoE.

It’s true we should not expect change but it important for everyone to be aware that we can leave feedback in game by selecting the feedback option in the Paimon menu.

They should at the very least make her ascension stat ER and/or reduce the energy cost of her burst to 60 or 70. I don't think either change would be hard to implement nor would it break her - it would just make her more flexible. I would have also liked her skill to simply cast the mini-vortex without having to use a charged shot, something like Sucrose's skill but with a smaller AoE and a smaller crowd control effect. If she didn't demand so much field time it would at least make her feel less clunky to play, and as you said the utility her skill has is basically useless already because the bread-and-butter of her kit is locked behind her burst. It's like they saw Venti, who never wants to use his normal/charged attacks, thought that was stupid, and so they made a character that tries to force you to use their bow, even though the incentive still isn't there. It's utterly asinine, and I refuse to believe that it wasn't intentionally made to feel bad so you'd spend to get the C6 to forego such a cumbersome mechanic. Now, one might like to think that she was actually intended to be used with triple Anemo, much like Gorou wants three or more Geos, except her kit doesn't reflect that at all like Gorou does. Perhaps a future anemo character will come down the line and make triple anemo a more niche build like mono/triple-geo, which would certainly alleviate her energy issues. Perhaps, one might like to think, that they wanted to try and make a unit that wasn't so inflexible like Gorou but still worked best in a team like triple anemo, swirling the element of the support - because unlike geo not having an element to swirl would be stupid. I'll admit that, if that were the case, it's an interesting way to try and go about making a niche character feel at least somewhat usable outside of their niche. One *could* have looked at Faruzan as an experiment, perhaps a way to encourage a certain compositional style (triple anemo) without totally locking the character to one compositional style... ...except there's zero excuse for locking the solution of her issues behind a C6, nothing other than greed. It's a blatant, super scummy way to 'fix' an artificially engineered issue; It's fucking disgusting, frankly, which is made even worse because there's no pity system with 4 stars, or as you mentioned any way to guarantee getting a non-legacy 4 star for starglitter in the shop (which isn't even a good solution to the problem; I've played other gacha games that have good solutions to this issue, like having a separate banner that lets you pick the 4 star equivalent you want to roll for - still not great because Gacha sucks, but it's *far* better than Genshin). It's FOMO psychological marketing at it's fucking worst, and frankly it won't get better unless Genshin has actual competition or feels 'threatened' enough to stop being so greedy. But I digress; Sorry for the ramble. I'd like to think that they could try to change some things about Faruzan but as you said I doubt they will - hopefully they learn a lesson but the cynic in me says 'doubtful' lol. Much like the whole 1st anniversary fiasco they won't change anything unless people make a big enough stink about it, or another game comes along and entices people away from Genshin.

Expect all new 4 stars to be OK nothing special with huge power locked behind their c6. I joined Genshin at a fun time where I enjoyed the game only buying Welkin and BP but whether I continue to spend will depend on what they do in terms of pushing the game further toward whale gacha or not

Since her elemental skill applies Anemo shred after unlocking her talent, whenever her ult is not ready when I rotate, I just do charged attack for the shred. I'm not waiting for her ult since it is a waste of time and both skill have the same Shred anyway. I'm building her mainly Energy Recharge with 1:2 Crit Ratio.

I understand that for some people, bow charge attacks are bothersome, particularly mobile and controller players. But I really hate when we start calling designs around CA "clunky", implicitly stating there is a design problem with making bow characters use their CAs. I think bow character designs are infinitely more interesting for having them utilize their weapons in meaningful ways. It's irritating to read people praise an impersonal, nondescript design like Gorou, who in terms of gameplay could use any weapon type and you wouldn't notice, over actually well designed gameplay patterns because nonintrusiveness is valued much more than impact, coherence and completeness. A character like Gorou is means to an end with no personality or flair as a gameplay design, with identical skill and burst dispelling the idea that he is intended to be anything more than the characterization of crutches granted to a dysfunctional element. Faruzan has a fleshed out gameplay pattern that, yes, includes a mechanic disliked by a portion of the community. But that dislike does not point to a character design issue. Most players would be happier if Faruzan went into the field, pressed EQ, applied all of her effects with 100% uptime and reach, and went out as soon as the swap cooldown refreshed, with her weapon only mattering inasmuch it changed your flavor of Favonius, but that is not good design. I am not excusing Mihoyo of making some glaring design mistakes, intentionally or not, but making a bow character use their bow in their gameplay pattern is not one and it's frustrating to see it treated as such. Sara, Gorou, Faruzan all have awful designs in their own way, particularly where they stop requiring the character to perform their kits completely in order to obtain the full benefit. Power ≠ design. C6 Faruzan is stronger than Bennett relative to anemo carry comps, but as a design, the fact that you suddenly stop pressing a button entirely for no loss (same goes for C2 Sara) is the opposite of good design. Genshin designs should recognize that natural gameplay does not allow for supports to dwell and meander, but I feel like there is recognition of this fact in Faruzan's (and Sara's) design, the problem being their rewards being insufficient (on low cons) to justify even this optimized field time. My problem is that most often criticism isn't about the reward but the mechanic itself, which leaves a sour taste in my mouth. What makes Faruzan problematic has nothing to do with the fact thay she needs to CA, not directly.

Im spent my f2p hoard that I saved up since Kazuha banner and thankfully I got her C6… I run her on 300% er with fav and usually I’ll have her burst ready when I need it but I do also have fav on Bennett and sometimes run her with venti. When you can get her to that point she’s pretty fun

I wish her ult was 60 energy OR maybe she still has 80 energy but one of her constellations was like "refunds 15-20 energy on using ult" .... something like that Along with that the 2nd part of her c6 where she can proc pressurized collapse in her ult continuously every 3 sec should have been how her ult works normally anyway, and her c6 could have provided only crit dmg boost maybe along with some other benefit like say the aforementioned energy refund after using ult or something (venti has this mechanic as his passive if I remember) which would still be not good since I wish such quality-of-life type constellations should always be available in early constellations so that its more accessible, so maybe her current c4 can be replaced with the 20 energy refund mechanic and for c6 we can tac on a higher crit dmg boost (say 60%) or a medium level boost to crit dmg(40%) and also crit rate(10%) or something.... This is my personal opinion, what do my fellow players think of this....?? Also, quick side question while we are talking about Faruzan, "why on God's green Earth does she ascend on atk, is it that funny to troll us??", if its that difficult to give her ER as ascension stat, just give her crit rate as ascension stat, we can leverage that with a fav bow, and no she won't be a broken 4* dps just because you give her crit rate ascension stat Another thing, if we are sticking with the current c4 of Faruzan, and thats how she generates energy particles, can we make it so that after using her E, she can insta use charge shots without charging at all, like ganyu's c6 feature, and it wont be broken, just reduce the dmg scaling of that shot

great video as always Sevy! i completely agree with your criticisms, and i have such mixed feelings about Faruzan. i've been an anemo main since i started playing i have all the anemo characters it's always been my favorite element, (hell, my venti is my only triple crowned character and running an A/D/C build because i just think it's fun to solo bosses w his charge shots lol) so you can imagine how excited i was for a dedicated anemo support finally, but man do i have a love-hate relationship w faruzan :/ like she's buffing my damage by A Lot i can't deny that she's definitely not weak! but god is her kit design infuriating. energy issues, clunkiness, c6 being a frankly absurd power spike, you cover them well so i won't go on lol but needless to say i agree. i honestly think gorou is the only dedicated element support that i would genuinely call good, no stupid charge shots for him thank god, and while his burst is definitely good to cast (and since he does negligible dmg you may as well stack ER anyway) the fact that his buffs aren't *tied* to his burst is really nice, and what differentiates him from sara is that he is truly filling a niche that wasn't filled before, he's The Only unit that buffs defense, and like you said up until c6 sara isn't even an electro specific buffer, she's just a generic attack buffer and bennett has her outclassed in every way shape and form, so she never felt like a particularly good or well designed unit to me. faruzan just makes me have so many conflicting emotions because she's undoubtedly very strong at what she does! but she's got so many caveats to actually *do* what she does it feels kinda ridiculous, and some of the design decisions made just are so annoying, like why doesn't she ascend w ER? why isnt her a4 passive something actually useful? (oh wow, an extra couple hundred damage on some hits here and there, yippy skippy) why did they think bringing back sara's cumbersome charge shot was a good idea?? man i'm so glad i wanted Wanderer constellations anyway, cuz i got him c3 before faruzan c6 (getting specific four stars in this game is so hard why would you constellation lock them??) Well the only way to get something like this brought in front of the development team is to not spend any money during this period so that they have to take a look at why people are holding back, what did they do to piss them off. But lets face it, that is not going to happen (I already renewed my monthly and battle pass) so more than likely we will see more characters along this line of thinking (4 stars that are busted at C6 but niche, requiring you to pull more without a pity if you want them). --- Anyway good video!

I really like the idea for just an instant charged shot after her skill! I think if i was going to change something, I would probably make her skill just stay on field longer instead of having a short cooldown, so it can keep giving the two energy every second it's out, like a weaker sucrose ult. it's still grouping smaller enemies and producing energy, and would make the c1 constellation like, actually desirable if you have bad aim. It would be like, a puddle equivalent to a tornado lol but still useful enough to warrant the charged shots

I think in the case of Faruzan another youtuber made the good point as to why she might be like this, and that is that since so many people would pull A LOT of Wanderer that they would inevitably get a ton of copies of her. I use Kujo Sara on controller (As I never fully understood how to use Fischl very well). I dont have too much trouble with her charged skill. But I have her at C2 or 3 I beleive and that gives her skill a nice buff that makes it far easier to use, as well as having her with a sacrificial bow making it more spamable and makes it a lot easier to use her burst off CD.

C0 farazan with 323% ER and Favonious is ALMOST enough. I can usually get a couple rotations before I have to funnel energy. My big gripe about her is that I would prefer if I could target the burst location. I have had her cast a burst on an individual mob to the left of me rather than the group of mobs in front of me. The triangle thing is cute but it doesn't work.

Additionally, her burst only does res shred if the pulse hits. Given the triangular pattern, it can be difficult to keep it consistent because of positioning. Then c6 completely waives this issue because now the res shred is from the c6 effect.

This is a unit that needs massive ER rework at C0. Of course that's a pipe dream with how Hoyo rolls. But this is a dumpster fire. Also, I pulled 60 times and not a single Faruzan, we desperately need pity for 4 stars.

I was on the fence about trying to pull Wanderer (because I already have Xiao and I'm saving for AlHaitham + maybe an eventual Homa). The way they made Faruzan was one of the reasons I decided to skip the banner. Other reason was not pairing him with Raiden - my Sara is still C2 only and I don't want to go for C2 Raiden just yet.

I really like ehr C1 though. It does give you the option to play her like tignari where her kit instead buffs her and gived you the option to play her as the main damage dealer.

I don't think niche supports/characters are the problem, they just need to be good in that niche. faruzan is not good as a universal support and isn't that good as a niche support either, rendering her a bad character overall imo. they could've definitely done better (adjust ascension stat/don't lock her utility behind c's/generate more particles on her own)

As an anemo enthusiast faruzan is blessing from heaven. She makes all anemo units 5x better. Without c6 a mono anemo team (something like Xiao/wanderer, Jean/sayu, faruzan and a flex) can really help her er issues. But with mono anemo wanderer dosent get the buffs from his first passive which is a pretty big problem.

I love this character but the only thing I would change is the charged shot after her E being instantaneous like you said It’s annoying not to have C6, but having Favonious and 300% ER is enough before that for me I guess C6 makes her a potential DPS so maybe that’s why it’s so powerful. Despite that her utility in anemo support is beyond amazing, cons are something to look forward to in future banners ! :)

i got c1 wanderer and c8 faruzan after 80 rolls. I love her so much, I also have jean c-4 my anemo team is broken now

I'm just gonna wait for a 5* Anemo support, since getting Faruzan to C6 costs as much Primogems (if not even more) anyway. I love her design but I hate how 90% of her potential is locked behind constellations.

Really glad i didn't try and C6 her personally if i want to risk my 100% (i really don't want to this time) i rather risk it on C3 raiden and C6 Kujou Sara considering i only need 3 more cons for sara. At least i have learned if there going to continue down this path of making 4 stars that require C6 to be effective then at least it saves me gems because I'm not falling for it anymore that's for sure. Really need to start waiting to see how they come out :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but her ascension bonus of atk% don't improve her base atk does it and isn't beneficial until c6 when she can be free of ER stats to actually do her own dmg.

c3 and almost 300% er im still coping, putting elegy on her but probably should try favonious gonna keep coping. ah, the life of anemo mains

they should've put the energy regen and CC with the ulti at c0 because that E charged shot is only usefull to pull hilicurls

With that being I said at least there is the TCG and while I won't be playing because I'm not into it enough personally the community seems to be loving it and that at least gives the players some hope outside of predatory character design that I don't expect to change with Gacha

Faruzan's kit makes me wonder if Hoyo has a plan for a mechanic to imbue bow normal attacks with elements. That'd make the 4star archers viable for the on-field driver role instead of just being EQ bots.

I tried faruzan but not yet with energy recharge because I havent fully build her yet. I do agree that she gives little particles. But you can use her skill again after like 1.5 seconds after 2 of her charged shots. So if you pair her with jean, quickswapping their hits to trigger a particle fest might be a option. The wanderer works well too in tandem, as after you used the wanderers flight, faruzan will have her ability up again. However the other anemo characters might have more problems with this as their cooldowns are not as much in line with faruzan. They take longer to be used again and need to stay on field for longer. I think a team with at least 1 anemo unit with a low cooldown works well with her, but other than that to a lesser extent. I think just giving her more ER regen would fix most of the problems, so that she can be a E>charged shot>R bot. I have enjoyed her to test out so I will probably build her when I get enough materials and such. I have a xiao unleveled somewhere and a Jean so that would give an okay team comp. I think that if you like anemo units and don't mind the charge shot(I don't myself tbh) she's a gorou for anemo, if you love anemo characters. I would keep your last slot open for an element to swirl with ofcourse. Preferably bennet I think or actually Shenhe if you use Jean as your 3rd unit. Shenhe's stacks work on anemo that swirls cryo, and I don't know how much Shenhe's ult applies cryo but this might be usefull as the entire team can use the stacks. I don't think they can use all stacks though. It might be better to use 2 anemo and 2 cryo if you want to use shenhe in the comp. Might be fun, swirling for shenhe.

She has all those problems on her kit (and Mihoyo knew she would have those problems, cause they aren't idiots), The problems: her arrow effect is too short to be useful, she has a 80 cost burst, her arrow doesn't charge instantly, she only has cc once so it isn't that useful, her particles come from the charge shot instead of her skill, you need ridiculous amount of ER% on her artifacts (or a battery for a support character), she doesn't even get ER% on her ascension Then ALL of her problems magically DISAPPEAR after she gets her C6 Xinyan's case was MiHoYo having no idea what would be a good or bad character (that's why we have stuff like Bennet, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Beidou, Fischl), Faruzan is just a complete character if you get her constellations, if you use anything in her place your team will do more damage (unless your Xiao or Scaramouche is HYPER invested(cause you'll need to give up on Bennet or a Shielder for both of them, cause you'll STILL need a battery ))

when i did the test run i remember audibly saying to myself, "I don't know how she's supposed to be helping" because of how awkward her kit seemed to function and I couldn't tell if she was even making a difference in the fight

I like using her with Heizou. I'm at C3 and no complaints. As long as you have Thoma or another shielder her charged shot requirement isn't a burden. For me at least.

the charged shot trigger is only a problem because they have no hyperarmor when charging! just give them hyperarmor while charging after using their skill. with sara, I often fail to land the shot just by being interrupted out of the animation.

If she's c6 she's broke amazing I have no problems with her and my Scara team I have her and Yelan both using Fav bow her burst is 100% up every rotation feels wonderful

I love An-Emo character in general so when they announce Faruzan I was so fucking hype but after 140 pulls I can only manage to get C5 and before C6 she is just so much pain to use. Really wish they stop making new 4 star character only usable at C6 or at least make it possible to get some kind of hard pity system or any way we can get them without gambling

As someone who hates charge shotting not getting a single farazan when i got my wanderer has turned out to be a good thing afterall 😊 sounds like ill be much happier with my c4 gorou and yanfei.

As a controller player, aiming is incredibly easy but I wouldn't do it if I don't have a shield to stop interruptions in abyss

Her C1 lets you charge hit twice but we only get energy for the 1st hit, it'll be nice if we get energy for the 2nd hit too.

I got her and these are the reasons i wont be maxing her since growing character is tedious and costly process. Furthermore shes bow character and playing on mobile with aiming requiretment is THE pain. On top of that creating gameplay issues just to make people pull is a bad design . Constal. should add to character but not fix

C0 Faruzan should generate 3 particles on her E, and her E should have zero icd which would actually make her c1, or sac bow useful for her. She'd still need like 220% ER min, but with 250-270, you'd have her burst ready on cooldown following a full rotation.

My understanding is that Faruzan plays kinda like Kujou Sara, but she can lower resistance and somewhat crowd control instead; her burst buff is a nice bonus

4 stars can be so hard to get to begin with (I took me 120 wishes to get a single Faruzan and I was done spending primos after that), locking most of their utility behind constellations is a slap in the face. The only other 4 stars that get this treatment are the starter 3, and you can AT LEAST buy their cons in the shop!
