She is already good at c0, but her energy issues are what are making her bad

Same song and dance whenever a new character comes out. Some people hype her into high heavens while according to others she's the worst thing since Hitler. And as always, the truth is somewhere in between. No matter what the doomposters and the clickbait Genshintubers might want you to believe, Mihoyo has been proven to be rather decent at balancing their game. As for constellations I'd say she's far less egregious than some other examples we've had in the past. Unlike, say, Sara or Gorô (in any comp not involving Itto at least) she doesn't need her C6. She's viable at C0 and then gradually gets better with every constellation. The main thing C6 does is opening up her potential to be not just a pure buffer but also deal DPS on the side since it massively decreases her energy requirements.

@@castielysia True. It just means you must invest in other units more to compensate, not that you MUST get her to c6. It's more like optimizing an already useful unit rather than "fixing" her through constelations.

she's a character that demands a lot of energy but can't generate as much energy on her own. Looking at similar characters in the past, they can be really hard to play unless you maximize the ER they can get via artifacts and weapons at the cost of their buffing potential. But who knows, it's only been half a day since her release so we have to give players more time to get a feel of her and find the best way to use her without it feeling really clunky.

I built her to 90 1-7-7, 290% ER Favonius. She’s okay but her energy issue is really obvious even with that stat. And I hate that mihoyo sells the solution at higher constellations. So disappointed because she’s easily my favourite 4 stars in term of appearance

At this point its not a wind punch, its a particle accelerator in shape of a fist.

I have him with R3 Solar Pearl, 2pc Gladiator, 2pc VV, 70%CR and 160%CD, and he smacks for 50k per punch with only the Solar Pearl buff. With only Skyward Blade Bennett burst and Zhongli's shield he hits closer to 100k (this is at C3 with crowned punch, btw). If you add an additional unit like Xingqui to help him swirl, you can have his 4 stacked punch ready to go by the time it cools down every time.

@@randangbalado sara can play with raiden/keqing who are excellent batteries, gorou is played in mono geo, meaning everyone batteries him, faruzan plays with xiao who cant even battery himself (wanderer and heizou are also mediocre batteries) if you add kazuha/venti/sucrose to the team, youre not using kazuha's dmg bonus buff, venti's energy refund, or sucrose's EM buff, meaning youre better off using crit kazuha/venti/sucrose instead. that leaves sayu and jean. sayu is a terrible battery, so fav jean is the only option left, which itself is a mediocre battery at best therefore, faruzan does have the highest energy requirements out of the three specialist 4* characters so far

Bruh Fazuran is like shenhe, a good supporter that only works when paired with the damage dealer that has the same elemental as them On the other hand, sucrose, a supporter who works fine with all swirl-able elemental Their kits don't even work the same way bruh

Respectfully, a Bennett burst does more for your anemo dps than faruzan herself. I would not recommend building her until c6. Or the very bare minimum of c2. Even Sara feels better to use

@@blackneko6618 I don't know the numbers exactly, but I've seen people saying that you need around 300% ER on hero.. so basically put favonius on her, with an ER sands, EoSF 2pc, and maybe a Crit Rate circlet with ER. I've seen that at C4 her ER should be okay at around 250%

He didn't really undersell it. He said multiple times that his Faruzan is ONLY built for ER, and showed us his build that has the absurd 280 ER.

Heizou isn't a limited 5* and he did just fine in the showcase? Even my c2 Heizou who is only half built is doing good damage, even before any buffs from other characters.

Exactly my problem. I would love to build Niliou and Faruzan, but I don't like the Wanderer and Venti (which the latter I own) too much and don't have any real anemo DPS, besides a neglected C2 Jean. I don't have any viable hydro DPS or Sub-DPS built, to make it happen with Nilou either. Because I don't like Childe, I got Mona very very late (She's lvl 1) and my Kokomi is a pure support. Welp.

While that may be true for Gorou and Sara, Faruzan is actually very viable as a dps carry at c3 cons and above is you play her like Ganyu or Tighnari. Similar to Heizou actually. Mihoyo might have given her energy issues, but what people overlook is that her cons also gave her a lot of high multipliers that makes building her for dps actually viable. A c6 Faruzans multiplier is more than double that of Sarasat c6. And Faruzan can buff herself just like Sara.

Thats the thing, you would just need to build er on her, and thats it really, you dont need anything else, fav bow too, so *maybe* a bit of crit rate, but 30-40 percent is enough honestly. And considering youre already pairing her with another anemo, especially if its kazuha or heizou, or BOTH; itll turn out great. And ofc, xiao does generate alot of particles bfor his burst, with 2/3 Es, so more particles as well yeh

Just give her some ER, damage doesn't matter on a support.

Hey I do the same thing! I actually do care about the meta, but even in the abyss you can get away with just two characters on each side so long as they have good synergy. I almost always do that, so I have some firsthand experience with it. Also, a full team just straight up seems like overkill in the overworld, and it feels like I dumped a lot of deadweight by dropping to two characters at most.

you do realize she is buffing anemo damage. The key here is "anemo". Their multiplier already bad to start with no reaction.

damn how many pulls? i only got c1 faruzan in 130 pulls

For me it was 4 yanfeis (c18), 3 gorous (c5) and a lonely c0 faruzan. Still, Scara came home at 41 pity non-guaranteed and I just did a ten pull on the standard banner after and got c1 Tighnari at 6 pity so I'm happy. Might go back once I build up a few more wishes and try for c2 Faruzan and maybe an incidental Itto to go with my (by then hopefully) c6 Gorou. ^^

My gorou was already C3 and I was close to granted pity, got scaramouche, faruzan C4 and finally itto but only gorou C4 in 80 pulls. Now it's time to build mono geo and anemo I guess.

It only count basic attack so having atk bonus doesn't matter if you don't build her to do damage .

Like bennet the atk bonus she gives is based of her base attack so any ATK weapons and artifacts are a waste. All that matters is her level and weapon base damage
