Uplifting the lives of the less privileged takes more than just teaching them how to save, budget, and invest. But it is still an essential part of the process.

Financial literacy for those who already have money, but what poor people truly need is the knowledge and skills to generate wealth in the first place.

That is what our professor in surgery told us years ago….Nothing to be ashamed of being born poor; but to die poor is something else. Thank you for this video.

I have 0 privilege. Wala akong inheritance lol. Pero I'm a self made millionaire today. Financial literacy is important. That user was speaking in general, everytime you speak in general term - usually mali. There is no absolute in the world. The world is not divided into black & white, napakarami ang shades of gray.

Hi sir, I'm poor but thankfully I have 3 credit line on major banks. I think poor but financially literate people should penetrate the banking sector to gain their trust and will eventually give you credit line which you can use for business.

You can't save yourself out of poverty. The mindset should be - make more money, plain and simple

Hot take: do not get into debt, majority of Filipino doesnt have the capacity to be in debt especially with the high interest rate. at wag na wag magpa dala sa mga "free money" from credit cards. they wont give you free money. sila ang leading industry sa mudo for decades, di nyo matatalo ang banks. as an accountant, Businesses lang ang mag bebenefit sa credit card and loans.

Financial literacy is the art of making, saving and multiplying money.. hindi ibig sabihin na pag marunong ka magbudget ng 500 to 1k per week eh financially literate kana.. 😂😂😂

The dividend rate changes and the unit value also changes. Nothing is guaranteed but the fund manager's fee goes up if the fund makes money, so there is motivation to manage the fund well and make it grow. The ALFM multi asset has 1.5% fee, so sa 4% na kinita mo, ang reality 2.5% lang ang naging returns mo. Hindi na rin masama. If you can find a fund that gives higher dividends, it's okay to shift your money there. One suggestion is Pag-IBIG MP2 that's been giving around 6% dividends. Meanwhile, may transaction fees din ang stocks (both when you buy and when you sell). Make sure to keep this in mind also. For cash flow, look into dividend-paying stocks like REITS and preferred shares.
