An absolutely fantastic video, this quality is something you'd expect of someone with hundreds of thousands of subs and I have no doubt that you'll get there someday. Any avenue of youtube you go down this level of editing and script will make you successful in any avenue. Keep it up man!
Good shit! Was waiting for this type of content for a while. It is fun to watch for comp scene enthusiasts and has potential to be a gateway for casuals to get into the pro scene. That type of content is not easy to make, but you’ve done it. Now you grind. Best of luck
Worth noting that last 2022, prior to Furia, the APAC North region already had a bunch of teams running Bangalore/Bloodhound where some claim it's for countering aim assist of enemy teams with controller players (of which many are in Japan, whereas South Koreans are all MnK).
Yeah I had heard that before but I heard they didn’t stick with it for very long. I could be wrong, I don’t follow much of APAC but not surprised the guys over there are paving the way
I was waiting for this, as always top notch, informative and very in depth analysis. Exactly what I have been looking for. I hope you blow up and get a spot somewhere in the ALGS you deserve it. Big ups dude.
Watching Furia play ALGS last year was seriously a spectacle to behold. I was watching it while i was at the gym and hitting PRs after seeing endgames haha. As much hate Furia gets, those boys changed the game figuratively and literally 👏
what a beautiful piece of content man you earned my sub already like 5 minutes into the first video you dropped. As someone who’s deeply invested into the apex comp scene this is an absolute work of art. Amazing analysis and top notch editing i CANT WAIT for the next video
This video was suggested to me and I was curious about how this (FURIA’s rise and fall) all went since I haven’t had the time to follow what’s been ongoing. Really glad I checked this out, very precise and informative. It did NOT feel like one of those long drawn out explanation videos. Subbing to stay in the loop. Keep it up! :)
No idea how your videos/channel havent blown up yet! But that just means i get to be a part of the 1st 5k subscribers instead of the 100k+! Awesome stuff look forward to your next video
Thank you for a Furia video! They are my favorite team, and I was so sad they didn't qualify. Can't wait to see more from this channel. I love content like this.
high quality competitive apex analysis is something that is missing from youtube right now, and I think your channel fits that void perfectly. For just starting recently, from a commentary and visual stand point the videos are amazing. I like theses video ideas and would also like to see you cover other related topics in the future; maybe discussing newly signed apex pro teams, team changes, etc. A lot of this is easy to miss unless your on twitter or twitch 24/7 and having it in a quick summary format youtube video would be great.
Great stuff, reminds me of Sovereign Guides for Valorant, where you break down pro matches for the average viewer while still being entertaining, keep it up ! Also, are the map into zoom-ins coming back like you did for OpTic and LG, that was super immersive IMO and gives you a sense of what was happening during downtimes between zones.
Yeah I honestly should’ve used it for the Furia clip at the end where they got griefed but for the sake of time I didn’t do it. I’ll probably bring it back soon
Excellent video and quality analysis. I also like the pace of which you're releasing videos. Hopefully you don't get burnt out--but once a week seems very doable! I'll be looking forward to what you release the week or two after the London LAN.
Quality videos with really good explanations for success and failures in algs. Keep up the content, your channel is the only one I’ve seen hitting the nail on the head when it comes to analyzing the pro scene.
I saw your comment on reddit about keeping the video time shorter. Personally I would not mind at all about an analytical video being "long", as long as the content is of quality, which you are definitely providing. Let alone your last video being 23 mins long doesn't really count as a "long" video either in my opinion. I am more than happy to spend more time to watch a longer video that excels in what it does. Anyways this is entirely up to you and I respect your choices on the content. Keep up the great work!
I think over time I'll find that balance. I probably just need to get better at the script writing process. Cause I do want to overall put as much of the info I have out there but also want to make it enjoyable and concise at the same time. I'll probably experiment a bit and eventually find the right spot for it. I really appreciate that feedback though. Glad you like the content!
I only learned of furia shortly before the Raleigh lan but I have become a fan of theirs and many other teams since then and look forward to seeing them come back! Also we need more high quality ALGS content like this!
I thought for a while and realized ash might be a legend they will choose for algs because of it's high risk high reward play style when pushing and easy end game position where there is little to no way to go to cover safely or a new rotation that will give them the advantage
Fantastic video. Always thought it was so weird that no one picked seer after his nerf despite seemingly being still insane only to then see furia whip him out and proceed to make the hero incredibly common
Dude I love your videos, please keep them coming. I also think Furia was so good the first time around because they were a new Team that just got put together & nobody was used too them and their playstyle yet. Even Hal said after algs we knw how to beat furia now
Am only halfway through the video and this is such a well made video! big things are coming for you dude! this got me hyped up for the upcoming Lan as well😈
I saw the last The Reset and was like damn this video is so well put together and just great. I can't wait for the next one in a few months LMAO this dude is spoiling us
YOUTUUUUUUBE PUT THIS MANS VIDEOS IN EVERY APEX PLAYERS FEED!!!! I am inspired to create ALGS content because of you because there simply isnt enough interest in it and the more we talk about it like ESPN does sports all day the more we can get people to care about it
Dude I've searching for this kind of content since I started watching the AlGS. You deserve more subscribers this content is lit, thanks! Apex needs it.
Nice job. You can tell that you put in lots of research time. Very Nice production. I'm not surprised with your rapid sub growth. Keep up the quality videos @jhawk!
Ive watched 3 of your videos in a row now and i am officially impressed and subscribed. Amazing content man keep it up, this is so different from normal apex content and im HERE FOR IT.
classic hal giving his take on the meta and being wrong every time LMAO never gets old Edit: here come all the tsm frogs not reading the comment properly oh boy
well to be fair they gave seer a try after the nerf, it just didint work for them at the time. Seeing seer being played correctly after the changes is probably what made him so viable. But yeah Hal has some extreme Opinions on Meta.
Superb job again J. Seen reddit comments talking about you intentionally cutting down on length - my personal take is that the more detail you put in the better, because your insight and research is spot on. If I'm just in a minority and you do look to cut down on general video length, then could you maybe do a supplementary 'deep dive' video for those of us who love the finer points? Either way, I loved both this video and your Optic one.
Great video, fantastic quality and editing,. These mini documentary series are great and as many people have said previously it crazy that this content isn't coming from a channel with hundreds of thousands of subs. Keep grinding, it will pay off. (My only nitpick on the info in the vid is the mention of Scarz as favorites for winning Raleigh LAN is not really the case!)
To be fair Scarz had won the 2021 EU ALGS Championship. So in 2022 I think it was fair to say a lot of people had high expectations. Rewatching the broadcast I think one of the commentators predicted them to win it all
As many others here, I really enjoy your high quality content and as an apex fan I appreciate your hard work. I'm a sucker for longer videos I can sit back and relax to, so keep it up! A little suggestion could be to utilise visual communication. For example I liked the section where you highlighted furia's kills compared to the regional finals. If you made a graph displaying the amount of kills for each game it would be much more condensed and also show the highs and lows in their performance. Looking forward to seeing more from you :)
Great content! The quality speaks for itself, can’t believe you just have less than 5 thousand subs! You’ll get to a hundred thousand soon enough bro. Keep grinding! You just earned another subscriber here
great content man totally agree the Wattson suspension played a big part. Had they just started okay and not had to battle back from a bottom 10 position I think they would have made LAN easily
Watched your optic video on recommended and thought it was amazing. Just saw this video and you’ve earned a sub. The analysis on each video is so in depth and I love this style of video. Keep up the great work man👍
I liked ur vid! Also, Furia had no home in WE at start of ALGS because they tried to change POIs but got destroyed (G2) and a lot of teams were trying to claim POIs so there were a lot of contests.
Everyone’s comments are pushing you to do more I can tell, I’m glad you are man happy to see someone grow like this and gain popularity people genuinely enjoy your content and it’s refreshing. 0 ads 0 bullshit just what we want to watch
Hey J you’re killing it! What do you use to edit gaming clips? I’m looking to start posting more consistently and like I saw someone else say, your video quality and voice overlay is incredible!
I don’t follow them a ton but that’s why I’m so excited about LAN. Hopefully I can get some good insight on who to start following for split 2! I know a few teams but I think LAN is gonna open my eyes to a bunch of studs around the world
Where is the super thanks button, this man need a raise !!!! I still remember how good it is to watch Furia in 2022 ALGS, how they drop 16 kills in single match I hope they will be back soon!!!
