Same 😭 so stoic and brave. (Spoiler alert to those who haven't seen the movie yet) I'm in denial that he died and I hope his character returns and he and Furiosa can live happily ever after

I’m so happy for him, I read that he was almost moved to tears (of joy) when hearing his character Jack be described as “Noble” by George Miller. Since he just got done playing a few “lousy” people, he assumed he’d be playing a grotesque villain covered in boils. He’s absolutely killing it with that Australian accent, I can’t wait to see him in the film, and I’m anxious to check out more of his work.

Tom may have been my favorite character in the whole film. A character that can convey so much with just their eyes and so few words is very powerful!

I just love Tom Burke. He was amazing in The Souvenir and I cannot wait to see him in Furiosa. This is such a great interview; Tom is relaxed and happy after a manic week promoting the film. I will always love him as Strike but hope this movie leads to greater things for him in years to come ❤

One of the things that makes Tom so appealing is his voice. It’s so deep, smooth and resonant, and he’s also so articulate. It’s lovely to hear a longer conversation with him - most of the interviews he’s done in the past (that are on YT) are very short. He should do more chat shows!
