After Jayden Daniels won the Heisman in 2023, the LSU Tigers need a new star QB and luckily they have a guy who is ready to take over. After becoming a 4 star recruit, Garrett Nussmeier has been patiently waiting for his time the last 3 years and will now take over in 2024, so who is he? How good is he? and what can we expect? Today, we will tell his story, enjoy!

Had my ticket for 3 years now . lol JD5 shocked me with his traumatic improvement last season so I had to respect it . Year 1 he struggled

@devinjohnson9749 year 1 he struggled early. Just like Joe did. But by the end of the year both were playing well. Nuss is different. He isn't just walking into a new system a new team. I honestly think Garrett will do better than both in their first y3ars

Nuss is the dark horse of the 2024 season! Let's call him a cross between Daniels and Burrow, without Daniel's legs, which are next level after-burners! He's a natural-born leader, like both Burrow and Daniels, GEAUX NUSS!

Garrett Nussmeier is a stud at QB. Nobody knows who he is yet. But wait, that will all change once the season starts. That is if the play caller calls the right plays for him. I fully expect Nuss to pass for more yards than Daniels and I expect the new LSU running game to surpass what the running game did last year. If the defense can come together, LSU should have a successful season in 2024

LSU's offense last year was historically great. It actually surpassed 2019 is some stats. That will not be easy to duplicate, no matter how many great players we may have on offense. I do agree that the RB room will be noticeably better. My expectation is that 2024 will have a better defense and a very effective high-scoring offense, but I can't predict Nuss to surpass any of JD5's numbers... he did win the Heisman after all.

⁠@@theblackdog2399you literally haven’t even seen enough of nussmeier to even say this dimwit. JD had a 72% qb rating, almost 4000 passing yards and 40 tds to only 4 ints. That’s pretty hard to beat.

He has a huge advantage by playing USC week 1. That’s a nationally televised game against a sub par defense. With some cupcakes on the schedule after. He should get off to a fast start and I expect him to have an amazing season

I live in Baton Rouge, and I haven't heard anyone say he's going to be Generational. He is however the kind of guy we love. Local boy that wants to represent his state, grew into the program, is patient, ready to take the reigns, and is loyal to his team... Something that is sadly rare these days.
