I always find it interesting that people question the Bible as if it is just a book. "Why believe that? Because a book said so?" Well this particular book is full of eyewitness accounts that were actually there when said events happened. This is drastically different than any science book that "says so" which contains no eyewitness accounts of anything. So one book says something, by people who saw something. Another book says something, by people who think something. I see no other choice but the Bible. Just pointing out the obvious. Flame on.
You have heard of 2nd coming, right? He came unexpectedly like a lamb. He comes again, for one last time, as a lion. We are in between right now and nobody knows for how long this suffering life we all have will last this way (we all due physical deaths, right?). The 2nd coming is exactly described as a reformation of the world and restoration of it to its primary state (non-corrupted by sin since He takes it away).
You haven't read NT I suppose. Go read it and it will hopefully be clear as day then. If not read it again and again and again until you understand it.
What on Earth is GOD? Well simple question, he is Jesus Christ. He is the WORD mentioned in the Bible by which everything was made. We here have a personal and loving God, bot a distant impersonal being evolutionist paint him to be. Facts are clear as day.
Sorry I cannot help you on this any more. You have to figure it out for yourself. Read more on New Testament, read from Ph.D. professors from all science fields who came to believe in Him thru their scientific work. Maybe that way you can understand. You don't need to do it that way tho, the way is accessible to anyone who wants to be saved.
He has no proof. Only ignorance. God created everything in 6 days to bless the 7th day as holy, not because He couldn't create the universe in part or whole instantaneously.
Jason Lisle doesn't realise but he does not help Genesis and Bible with this kind of argumentation. He does exactly the opposite. The Bible must be respected for what it is. And it's not history or science. It's a stunning hebrew narative that literalists make it look like a joke
