As the video said the secret history of Mongolia gives detailed insight into his campaigns and reasons behind it. Also I heard from an inner Mongolian actor that the CCP bans at least half the episodes from any historical series depicting Chinggis khans or the Mongols. History can be so fragile and influential. Hope the future holds better history for all of us.

Gengis Khan clearly believed in KARMA, cornerstone of Hinduism & Buddhism. Greetings from Indian in Canada 🙏 No one cared about Hinduism outside India for most parts but Buddhism ☸️ had won the hearts of millions all around the subcontinent, anyone with basic knowledge of Buddhism knows how it spread like wildfire as it resonated with the traders & merchants, who were often rational & hardworking, as opposed to Hinduism was crippled by cast system empires by the Brahmins that time. Hinduism also has a long history of greed & rivalry, lot that have been wiped from history similar to western historian, which is never seen under Buddhist national. The great emperor of India - Ashoka is a great example who was one of India’s most ferocious conquerer but took refuge in Buddhism in later parts & is also the reason we have come to learn about Buddhism today. The Hindu & Mughal rulers and ensured to wipe off Buddhism from the face of India as it empowered every being. Regardless, fascinating narration. Please keep up, people seeking truth would always appreciate this perspective.

@@abro99 your comment reeks of anti Hindu hatred, keep ur anti Hindu fake history with u. No one cared about Hinduism outside India? There was a time when Hinduism was followed all over this planet, anyone who knows real history knows that Buddhism never spread anywhere like a "wild fire" at all except in places like Srilanka, Tibet and Thailand, these countries too were Hindu Before, Hindus never had a caste system but a Varna system, the caste system was started by UK, Varna system Never discriminated, you will never understand Varna system. Buddhism never resonated with any merchants because these merchants were hardworking and rational hence didn't agree with the teachings of Buddhism, Buddhism never spread in India or the rest of the planet except the countries I mentioned because no one agreed with the nonsensical illogical teachings of Buddhism that is why people all over the planet are leaving Buddhism and converting to Hinduism. Hinduism was never "crippled" ever, it was flourish more and more. Buddhism has hate, rivalry and greed always, Hinduism never had all this, Hinduism on the other always taught peace, harmony, tolerance unlike Buddhism. Buddhism taught to spread hate towards other religions, Your anti Hindu comment is an example, that is why Buddhists have always persecuted people of other religions everywhere, that is why Buddhists annihilated countless rohingyas Muslims and Rohingya Hindus. Buddhists annihilated And persecuted Hindus in Bhutan. Srilankan Buddhists annihilated and persecuted Hindus and Muslims in Sri Lanka. Hinduism is the most tolerant Religion. Buddhism teaches intolerance and violence against others. King Ashoka never converted to Buddhism nor did he preach Buddhism, that's another lie started by communists and Buddhist Historians. Hindus or Muugals never eradicated Buddhism, the fact is no one in India accepted Buddhism because Buddhism is full of nonsense and nonsensical teachings with no logic or spirituality.

Is this true? It was told to me they were married into other cultures for alliance. But from what I understood from what I was being told was, after their Father's and others death - those cultures fell to China. Not sure if that is true. Not sure if any of it is. RE "fancy editing effects", less face time and more map time would be an improvement. Also, to fully counter the "reductionist view", information and archeology that examines the daily lives of the people pre and post Genghis (and his general) in the conquered lands is needed. How was trade affected? Were there successful administrations of the laws; what form and relative load were taxes? What cultural load was imposed by Genghis outside of his affinity for Hindu Buddhist traditions? What prevented him from establishing succession to maintain the empire? And finally the backbone of the "reductionist" narrative -- his psychological terror tactics prior to or after invasion -- must be addressed.

Indian is brilliant, resonant and unforgettable. I’ve always believed that Indian was the center of civilization 10-20000 years hence. To trace humanities steps out of Africa heading north as determined, then the route was either western or an eastern path. I find it hard to believe that 100,000 years ago mankind would continue through expedition, that easterly flow snd eventually onto North America. Yet so it continues. And now both India and China have similar populations, but how different is their societal foresight, edification and spiritual connectivity??
@iaam8141
@iaam8141 3 месяца назад
@@pty8s The center of civilization 2.0 was Sumeria /Mesopotamia in c. 3000 BC when Nimrod was the greatest, mightiest hunter/king after the Great Flood in 3298 BC. India could not have had existed then because the destruction of the tower of Babel (built by Nimrod, in modern-day Iraq) did not happen until 2850 BC, which resulted in new languages emerging suddenly after the event. Moreover, only then new tribes were founded and the approximate 12 million people at the time began to spread throughout the world to form new nations. Sumerian influence still exists today with satanic /pagan worships prevailing and one of its greatest symbols is the obelisk which can be found notably at Vatican City and Washington D.C.

This was definitely true in the past. However, in Western universities, there is now increasing guilt over European colonialism. Scholars here are starting to present alternative points of view, and not just stick with a Judeo-Christian bias. As a Buddhist, I am fully aware that Buddhism cannot be properly understood from a Christian or Muslim perspective. Right or wrong, English is the dominant scholarly language on Earth, and I can only access English language information. Fortunately, scholars (like The Indian Interest) from around the world are presenting their non-Western perspectives in English. i am from Nigeria. We've suffered from fault-lines of disunity for decades; fault-lines engineered by the British colonial power when the empire was putting together for economic purposes, the pieces that make up Nigeria today. Hearing about a similar divide and rule strategy against the Mongol tribes by China just brings it home for me. today there are deep divisions in Nigeria motivated politically at home and controlled by foreign interests. But I also see Nigerians fighting on to stay together under the new organically grown brand "Naija". However we are sorely in need of a powerful unifying figure (male or female) who can create for us what GK created for his people, uniting and forge them into a single national entity. Thank you so much for this presentation, Abhijit. Most informative and inspiring.

And the people are called Bharatiyas.

My PhD is in philosophy I am no indianologist although I do teach seminars in Hinduism Buddhism and some of the Chinese traditions at my university (Mississippi State University). I wholeheartedly agree that Mongolian culture is very much underrepresented for the historiographical reasons that you most succinctly and eloquently expressed. I knew of Genghis Khan's sense of modesty and honor, Not to mention his organizational and military genius, combined of course with the unsurpassed equestrian might of Mongolian archers (basically born on horseback) but some of the details you described about his reasons for declaring war are quite an eye-opener. In short you might say that he adopted in practice much of what is described by scholars of war as just war theory. Thank you so much again!! I will definitely share this with my students.

@True light no, turks have not originated from mongols. They do have some commonality in origin but so does the every human being on earth. But through medieval ages, both were different, turks were somewhere turkmenistan and kazakhastan, and mongols around mongolia and southern Russia. They have different languages and culture. And it was the mongols only, who kicked the ass of turks and forced large number of them to today's turkey. And mughal king babur claimed to have his mother from mongols but there is no proof and it was a trend among turkic and other rulers to associate themselves to mongols and genghis khan. Even if some had mongol mothers, does it make them half or full mongol??? 😏absurd

@True light What you said is Kinda true but kinda wrong we can't say like the turks originated from The mongols yes essentially the turks and the mongols had the same culture but afterwards the turks started following Islam and the turko mongols that you are talking about are the ones that followed the Islamic culture. Yes one of their parents was mongol but yet they followed the culture which their Turkic parent followed not the one that mongols followed. So they are the for springs of Genghis khan is just for the sake of saying. The Religious , Cultural , ethical value that they followed were totally different from that what Genghis khan followed. Many historians have not even read The Secret History! I read it as a child. Anyway, thank you presenting the subtleties that give a fuller shape to a fascinating person and time.

As a American person I find your accounting of Gengis Kahn fascinating . I could not agree more that a lot of history is skewed for what ever reasons people have . Keep up the good work . I would have never known any of this . I am enlightened and taught thank you.

We need to learn history from the perspective of native peoples that were slaughtered around the world by European conquerors.

Khan is just as much responsible and in control of what his generals did leading his armies. Just bc he only got out of bed to scare the shit out of the people that betrayed him doesnt absolve him of the conquests of greed he sent his underlings on.

@@indrajitgupta3280 The topic of discussion is History here. Not STEM subjects. The curriculum of Indian history has always been influenced by leftist lobbies to suit their convenience. When it comes to Bharat's prehistoric pagan, Indic and Dharmik glory, you'd find that RU-vid and WhatsApp are actually way more reliable. That's what the guy meant.

Genghis Khan was mercilessly misunderstood by the world because of the historian. He is the greatest conqueror of all time. A dignified, rational, disciplined man. Its true that history is a set of lies agreed upon. Thank you for this video.
