as a german girl that is used to these products, it's sooo nice to see that you and foreign people in the comments love dm so much! it makes me appreciate it a lot more too! I would love to see more of your favorites😊 the range is incredibly big so it's awesome to know which products are worth buying and which aren’t... Greetings from west hesse
I loved this video! I live in the UK but travel to Germany when I can, I have to say I love going in DM & Rossman they are so cute and the products are cheaper than in the UK! I really enjoy the Balea brand so I try and stock up when I’m there ❤
This really really helps me! As someone who doesn’t speak enough German yet to know how to read everything this helps me so much!! I care very much about what’s in my products. Please do more of these!!! A makeup one would be great too. Any more skin products, cleaning products etc. help us new to Germany people! We need you!!
I remember going to these drugstores when I first moved to Germany and it was so daunting! So happy I could help you out. I need to make more of these types of videos for my fellow expats😘
I honestly love skin care 💖 I spent a good hour to treat myself like a Princess 👸🏼 I am 26 now and I started at the age of 22. It’s so great I always feel so amazing after a good session of self care. It’s absolutely good and very therapeutic.
I'm german loving in the US. Coming home on vacation in a few weeks and I'm so exited to roam at DM lol. Anything specific that's good? I'm looking for a good medium to full coverage foundation for dry older skin. Essence or catrice habe anything? Any new german make up brands? Thanks, I just found you and subscribed 😊
Hey Antoinette! Happy to see a new video 😊 I was wondering, since you're a mother of 3 children and I absolutely loved how you interacted with them, I like how you care and talk about raising kids in Germany, I was wondering if you'd be interested in making a video about preparing to parenting 😊 and how do you recommend growing children in 2 languages, since the day they are born? By the way, your videos inspired me to have bilingual happy kids one day:D I am married now to an American, absolutely wholesome man, he was born in Ukraine but only speaks English; and we think to have a bilingual kid/s one day ☺️ probably in a couple years but what to start from? How do people get ready for it? 😀 what to mentally prepare for, as a mother? I'd appreciate it if you give some tips ^_____^
Oh, also, thanks to you sharing info about having Celiac, I found out what it is, thanks to that we found out my husband has it, and now we're trying to avoid gluten. 29 years he had no idea and never even heard of it! How do you enjoy gf stuff? Do you think it's okay to eat food that can have traces of gluten (touched it, but is GF), or the diet has to be completely strict? I think it'd be useful to hear about your experience 😊
Awww Congratulations on getting married, how amazing! He is one lucky man. You deserve nothing but happiness. I think of you often and wonder how you're doing. It always makes me happy to read your messages. I really need to make more videos about raising bilingual kids, it's been a wild journey and there is so much to talk about! 🙂
@@AntoinetteEmily thank you so much, you too! All the best wishes for you and your family, your yt channel gives so much positivity and brighten up my mood so many times🤍
Moin. LOL❤😅
@@AntoinetteEmilyI got your notification and I was like who is she talking to? Surely not to me 🤣🤣 THANK YOU! I plan on relying on all of your ‘kindergarten/school’ content to get me through the huge change we have incoming! You live in Bavaria right? So it’ll probably be 1-to-1 same experience 🍢
@@LaurenAngela_aufDeutsch I was excited when I saw that you commented on my video! Yes, I'm living in Bavaria (Unterfranken)Good luck with this new school chapter. I hope my videos will be helpful😘
Hello Antoinette Emely! Saw your recent video. May I give you a hint to mark your videos with the mark "Werbesendung" otherwise you can get problems with the german law! Maybe you have heard the term "Schleichwerbung". You can avoid this, when you give a little hint onthe screen.
Yes, skincare can get super expensive but I’m sure your more expensive vitamin C serum is amazing quality. These are just less expensive alternatives for people on a budget and since I’ve tested them all I can confidently say they are all good products.
Balea does have a lot of good skincare (especially the balea med range), Haircare and Bodycare. The Alverde products often contain a lot of drying alcohol
The price of posting them to NZ would be much more than the actual products. I will definitely put some in my suitcase for family and friends next time I'm there🙂
Balea is a good brand, I agree, but more is not always better 😂. Gee, you put an awful lot of stuff on your face. I, not even anywhere close to my thirties anymore, use... nothing! I stopped using any skin care on a regular basis a couple of years ago. And I haven't had skin that smooth and glowing since being a teenager.
