Why Gohan Won't Be in Dragon Ball Daima 

There is also a possibility that Gohan isn't shown because his role in the series is more spoilery. Perhaps something different happens to him that they don't want to show yet? Also kinda love the idea of returning to some cute silly antics. Big bad powerful boss battles start to loose their meaning when they have happened for the millionth time haha.

We got a whole movie of fan service so we can see gohan at his peak again, if gohan appears to be the strongest “again” I wouldn’t be surprised

Kid Gohan should be in that new series

It would have been pretty ironic, if Kid Gohan actually was Kid Gohan again. That would have made a lot of fanservice.

It depends on if they make their power levels go back to what they were when they were kids. If they still have their powers but just get slightly weakened being small means Gohan wouldn't be over powered.

It be a missed opportunity to not have Kid Goku and Kid Gohan together for a little while.

If we had a chance to see Gohan as a kid again because of the wishes of the dragon balls we’d have to see him physically grow again. But he already went through his character development arc. He already matured, what would the point be of this. Seeing a mature character dominate everything, he’s already be at his max mental capacity. He’d probably just use strategy and train in the hyperbolic time chamber and gravity room with Whis, Beerus, Hit and Broly, and the stay in the chamber grinding until he became an adult again. Chances out he’d be stronger then he was before and better.

ACTUALLY. Kid Vegeta has a power level of OVER 10,000- and supreme kai should still be somewhat powerful. Piccolo was actually pretty strong as a child, and for goku it depends which age. If he's the kid goku who defeated king Piccolo- then he at least has a power level over 200.

They did dirty to Gohan since his defeat in the buu saga, they nerf him so Goku and Vegeta can shine.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gohan only appeared for a couple minutes at most. I'd be disappointed but not at all surprised.

I think gohan will either be a toddler 2-3 years old (younger than he was 4 vs raditz) or a baby like goten and trunks

Yeah, it makes sense that in this series the characters might be limited to somewhere around the power they had when they were the ages they are reduced to, and that would make kid Gohan totally broken. But then, kid Vegeta should also be pretty broken compared to Goku, as he would have been much stronger than Goku as a child too.

They will add Gohan, if nobody can use their current power as kid, Gohan won't have that HUGE potential cuz when he was baby he wasn't that strong, Trunks and Goten are babies so I think Gohan will be Kid

I think Gohan will be the main villain. Maybe he is controlled or something. Him as a kid is the strongest among Z fighters.

Honestly, If the wish was to set the cast's age down by a number of years gohan probably got babyfied like goten and trunks or is a straight up toddler, if he's even there

I think they didn't wish to turn them babies, they instead divide the age that's why gotten and trunk became baby, which make Gohan baby too age would be 3-4 years

Considering this takes place after the Buu saga and before super. Goten and Trunks was around 7 and 8yrs old so they were already kids. Gohan was 17 in the anime. 16 in the manga during the Buu saga.

Guys don't listen to this. Gohan is going to be in daima. Gohan just wasn't in the trailer because the cast is so large that there wasn't enough time to include him. But he will be in the show.

I’m excited, not everything in this show has to be linked. Like GT isn’t really Cannon, neither are the majority of the movies. I think it’s going to be a fun show, I like the art style and honestly hoping for some dragon quest vibes.

Let's be honest. Gohan isn't going to be in the series because he would outshine goku and vegeta. Not in power, but in terms of appeal to the child audience. Why do you think they stopped the Kid Trunks and Goten space adventure arc and ended it with the rightfully hated and derided Jelly Vegeta arc. Didn't nobody want to see that shit. I would have rather seen junior space patroller goten and trunks fighting against frieza arms remnants and learning how to do their own unique individual thing. Goten growing into more of a fighter and free thinker and trunks becoming more of a scientist and leader.

Gohan is there, is simply wasnt shown. That saga is after the Buu saga where a magician like Babidi turns them all to kids, but the dragon cant wish them back, is like a spell they have to broke

I feel like they might still have some of their powers, so like I think Goku will probably have at least super sayian, and also maybe they’re keeping Gohan under wraps for now like how a game doesn’t show all of it’s features in it’s launch trailer, it saves surprises for when you actually play

SSJ3 is probably enough or even too much for Daima, things like SSJ4 and TUI are billions are times stronger than base, it'd make all the villains one shotted unless they're some Jiren clone but stronger

Goten and Trunks are there Gohan isn't. Gohan is somewhere else. We didn't see Videl either. They have to be somewhere else. Another theory is it is probably between the Buu saga. Teenagers would turn into kids. If they are already kids they would turn into babies.

I doubt that’s it. There’s likely a less story driven reason like “Goku is the main character of every Dragon Ball series so let’s focus there.” We still yet to know exactly how their powers shrink/scale down. I highly doubt their at their childhood power levels and I’m willing to bet kid Vegeta was stronger than kid Gohan since he was out on adult expeditions as a child. Gohan got pissed, head butted an adult and that was it. My 4 yr old niece has definitely caught me slipping before but I’m sure I could beat her in a fight lol She’s got potential tho.

the series didnt even start and there are already flaw‘s. if whoever made the wish used a specific number to make them younger , based on roshi , everyone else‘s age should be in the negative lmao. Roshi is 350 years old. if the wish is reverting them back to a specific age , it doesnt make sense for goten and trunks to be babies. ofc this is expected from toriyama.
