More credence to nightmare being a nightmare version of shadow Freddy, but an inversion of nightmare Fredbear, a nightmare version of Golden Freddy. The nightmares are mirrors and the "real" ones are mirrors. Even nightmare Fredbear's laugh is a slowed down child's giggling, and Nightmare's laugh is a slowed down, sinister sounding, adult man's cackle.

I came by a really interesting theory about the OMC minigame. OMC is Andrew, we are Cassidy. Andrew has a fishing rod tied to Afton under the lake so he can't reach the bottom... his happiest day. Cassidy drowns in the lake, reaches the bottom and gets her happiest day. Afton is still alive, cause he cannot reach the bottom of the lake cuz Andrew is keeping him in the middle of the lake... like Limbo, a place between life and death

OMC is more likely to be Mike, would be a very Scott pun as Old Mike Consequences (Oh, My Consequences). The fire claimed all three Afton's and the Molten Freddy for sure, there isn't any evidence to suggest that Lefty (containing Charlie in the Puppet) and Henry actually got incinerated though. Not to mention OMC has a redish colour and "Snout" profile similar to Foxy (Mike's favourite, thus being the mask he wore when bullying his little brother with his friends). Which all indicates it's Mike, tired of it all and trying to calm the Vengeful Spirit down. Trying to tell them to just let William die so they can all move on. The Vengeful Spirit's happiest day being the day they died kind of makes sense when you consider that the manner in which they died gave them the power to inflict UCN on William. It's kind of a sick way of looking at it, but if you take Williams similar death and how he was happy to be empowered by it as an example then it makes some sense. Cassidy being the vengeful spirit matches up, Cassidy was likely killed by being spring locked in the Golden Freddie suit. A death that was vividly described in one of the stories. You try to scream but no sound comes out as blood fills your lungs and you drown to death in agony. The other kids were killed then stuffed into the animatonics, so they attached to them as Remnant. Cassidy being spring locked and drowning in their own blood (similar to a red lake we see) attached them to Golden Freddy via Agony rather than Remnant. William suffered the same fate with the Spring Bonnie suit, as such, he is fuelled by Agony as well. It's possible that Mike's brother was attached to the Golden Freddy spring lock suit in a few ways. His head being crushed in its mouth, his attachment to the plush of Golden Freddy and, this is pure speculation on my part, possibly chained to it after being released to the Afton home from the hospital. Where William would likely then dispose of in the lake near the Afton's house in the woods in an attempt to get rid of the Agony fuelled suit and gaslight Mike into thinking the possessed suit took his helpless brother into the lake. Mike being still heavy with grief and blaming himself, not to mention probably literally experimented on with the Nightmare Gas, would escape the house and go to the lake to attempt to find his brothers body or at least visit his brothers watery grave. Which explains why a physical Golden Freddy doesn't exist in any game but FNAF 2, being the earliest in chronological order (minus the brief flashback of Mike's brother getting his head chomped in FNAF 4). There have been a few instances of Golden Freddy being seen in games covered in chains and heavy metal balls. In some instances we see Golden Freddy, and his variations like Dreadbear, in and/or coming out of water. Charlie helps make Mike's brother's memory of his trauma into a happy memory to help him move on specifically. The other children from the MCI, she can not do much for but relieve some of their suffering by at least giving them more control over the animatronics they were stuffed into. Basically, giving them a similar outcome to herself becoming attached to the Puppet. Some level of autonomy essentially. Then William breaks them apart, melts them down and infused them with the new animatronics. Likely going back to get the Spring Bonnie suit later, after the incident with Circus Baby and Elizabeth. William likely decided he needed the suit to safely enter the Sister Location Bunker without being killed. However, that's when he gets spring locked attempting to avoid being touched by the Vengeful Spirit, as that much Agony in can kill with just a touch. He then sends Mike down in his place, basically calling in dead and still too traumatised to confront more animatronics. After the fire Mike caused that destroyed a fair chunk of Springtraps body, William likely sought replacments from the only other spring lock suit. Being an undead, animatronic nightmare; Walking under water in the lake was likely not an issue for him in order to retrieve the parts. Scraptrap, now being a twisted amalgamation of the two Agony fuelled animatronics of Spring Bonnie with parts of Golden Freddy would then be able to house both William Afton and Cassidy before Henry's fire. Which leads us to UCN, Williams personal hell that unfortunately trapped the others in it as well. Mike wants to end it, not just for himself but for the others who are trapped in there as well. Which likely includes his sister and brother. Charlie being in there seems more voluntary, to try to protect the others from William and Cassidy. But Mike as OMC is just tired of it all, so he buried himself deep into the "Code" away from Cassidy's wrathful vengeance against William at the memory of the lake near his house. If Cassidy, us as the Freddy Sprite, come down there. He attempts to persuade Cassidy to stop it and let them all move on. In order to do that, Cassidy needs to redrown them self and return to the "Physical" Golden Freddy suit at the bottom of the lake. To basically lay them self to rest and release the rest of them from this hell ment for William. Which is why I think we see the crumpled but violently twitching Golden Freddy suit at the end. It's Cassidy dragging William down into the lake where the suit is and releasing the rest of them. Mike as OMC gets through to Cassidy, basically saying the rest of them don't deserve this so take all the Agony of Wiliam & them self to the other spring lock suit and release the rest of them.

@@rosed5637 yeah but in the Into The Pit game there's no implication of what is revealed later in the books, that's the difference, also the story happens on a school week for Oswald in the game, while in the book it's not even a week I think it was like two days, three days max during the summer

@@daranaqelforastero319 because they had to change the story to make it appealing for gameplay and make the players sympathize with the character that keeps coming back to rescue his father. Also, Stitchwraith is canon as an easter egg, just like Eleanor, you have to play her minigame to get the true good ending. Therefore, it means that some of the content of the books can be applied to the games. You can hate the Frights all you want, but it's undeniable on the near future that it's contents are going to be used for the games, but adapted of course.

Considering Vanessa never says anything about her own brother being killed while Mike trauma dumps to her and she always just refers to the animatronics as just "those kids" in a super impersonal way. No, I highly doubt that.

I don't think two blonde characters mean they're related. It's like a "connection" between Vanessa (SB) and Elizabeth, because they're both green-eyed. In addition, only Vanessa and William were purple in credits. Why leave some "mysterious second mini Afton" in the film if, in fact, it doesn't change anything and doesn't make sense? It wasn't even presented for theories. Vanessa doesn't even mention him

What I find really strange is the William situation since fnaf 2 makes it clear that the MCI killer oddly looks very different from the other white-eyed willliams, and fnaf3 implies that Springtrap was already too dangerous to be worn, aka it literally roamed on its own and started to kill kids and William would’ve died wearing it even way back then.

The problem with this theory is the amount of evidence going against it.
