I enjoy your interviews and I'll be watching them regularly. One thing that I would point out (in hopes to help you with feedback/ take it or leave it) is, you seem to zone out of what your guest are saying so your replies sometimes may seem lacking. For instance in this interview your guest was getting into a deep subject and when he finished your response did not meet the expectation of such a deep thought. It may come across as dismissive which I know that isn't your intent. Thank you, I enjoyed your video. I will be finishing up my Masters in Cybersecurity and then will be working on my PhD in Informatics. Keep up the awesome content.
Thank you for that - I too am coming here for the $$$$. I really like everything I've seen so far but am definitely here to better my financial situation.
Hello, new subscriber here! Recently interested in pivoting into a Cyber/Security analyst role. I am a business analyst for the past 10 months within the Banking industry, working on contracts. This niche is something I am highly interested in! So glad I found your channel! Thank you, Henri.
I'm in an IT Security Analyst program through Harrisburg University. Security + is one of the certifications they have us go for. GRC definitely sounds interesting
ayeee thats my boy abdi! after knowing him for several years i was wondering where the heck he went. never would have thought hed be diong cyber security, proud of him!
Good Day Sir!. I am trying to transition from my current role as an IAM/PAM Analyst into GRC field, but don't know where to start and how to do it. I have over 2 years of Identity Access Management Security experience, certified Security +. I don't know what to study in order to increase my knowledge and land an entry level GRC position of any sort as a start. I don't know where to start and I would really appreciate it if you can provide some guidance or a road map how to get into this field. Another question if I may? Do you have some kind of a sample resume for a GRC role without experience, and was wondering if you could possibly share it with us if you have such a resume. Thank you in advance.
@@TechTualChatter Thank you for your reply. We'll, most of my work involves provisioning/de-provisioning access to different platforms & applications and it's becoming very repetitive and boring. I want to move away from this type, and would like to do similar work as your guest Abdi (Abby) Muhamamd. I want to be able to do Governance, risk management/risk controls, compliance, risk mitigation, etc. but have no idea where to start, and would appreciate your guidance and advice. Thank you
I’d love to know how you got started IAM/PAM? I’m a cyberdefense student and it’s an area that interests me quite a bit. I understand the more technical side of it as far as controls go but I’m sure there’s much more to it than that. Is there anything that you would recommend I do/study to show myself approved? 😂
