Hakeem won back to back titles with far less help than LeBron. Won the first title without a top 75 player on his team and beat all the opponents MJ would face later on in the finals and then some. He’s really the most underrated player in NBA history
He is. I'm trying to give him his props. I hate that Lebron coops this narrative about not having enough help. Dreams career is what not having enough help looks like.
MJ said he feared Hakeem and would take him on his all time team of five. The Rockets always played the Bulls well. It was a bad match up for them. Hakeem dominated the paint on both ends in those games. Really wish they would have met in The Finals.
@@thecaseforkobebryantasthegoat Your main point for Hakeem over LeBron had nothing to do with LeBron. Just Talked about how well hakeem played against the HOF centers of his era and how LeBron lost in the first round of the playoffs at age 39. Just felt like your arguments couldve been more concise and relative. Something like what does Hakeem do thats better than LeBron or vicce versa would be good to ask and answer.
When the Rockets defeated the Lakers, it was RALPH SAMPSON who fielded the winning shot. Even though the Rockets lost against the Celtics, in one victory against the supposed best frontline in basketball history, Sampson got 24 points and 22 (!!!!) rebounds on them; so much for MR. Ralph Sampson not being an elite player. Give love not hate to this mountain of a talent.
@@thecaseforkobebryantasthegoat I'm a gigantic Ralph Sampson admirer, so I get irritated when someone slights him erroneously (like the credulous sheeple who still believe Michael Jackson was a child molester); however, I fully concur that Sampson had lost his mojo due to the devastating fall on his back that led to hip and knee problems, da-- injuries. Oh, well, at least Olajuwon won some titles.
Their quite a few guys I'm taking over bron including magic and bird. Great player but he loses alot in the finals. Highly overrated as a clutch player and a defender.
5 Playoff buzzer beaters, but he's overrated in the clutch? 3rd highest PPG in elimination games (Luka and Alex Groza are 1st and 2nd, and they have only played 10 games combined, meanwhile LeBron has played 28)? 10th highest Game 7 PPG average while playing 8 Game 7s in his career (only KD has played 5 or more games that is in the top 10)?
