I remember seeing Resurrection in 2002...twice in theaters as a 14 yr old.... good lawd

The phrase "Starring Busta Rhymes" simply cannot be said with a straight face. But for some time, I wondered which Halloween movie was the worst in the franchise. Halloween 5? Halloween 6? Resurrection? And what makes each one worse than the other? H5 was a rushed script filled with disposable characters, but at least told a relatively coherent narrative. H6 was rewritten, reshot, and butchered to make its nonsensical plot with a cult and an incest baby even MORE nonsensical, but at least the behind-the-scenes stories and the existence of two different cuts of the film makes it an interesting watch. Resurrection killed off Laurie Strode in the quickest, most underwhelming manner, had kung fu kicking Busta Rhymes as its male lead, even more disposable characters, and a webcam reality show plot that drips of the desperation to be relevant to modern audiences. I guess Resurrection would be the worst based on the sheer volume of embarassing things that are going on in this movie that make it too difficult to be redeemed.

somehow I never noticed it before but in the clip you played where Busta is dressed as myers and is berating myers, he sounds like he's doing a bad Al Pacino impression!!!!! That makes it even better!

After Halloween 2, William Shatner didn't want his face mask used anymore on the movies, so that's why his mask changes a lot. Zombie's Halloween mask look the best to me, even though the movie was a shit bomb. But yeah, the mask had copyright problems with it.

I actually just rewatched Jason X yesterday, and it's dumb as hell, but at least there's some strange, backhanded enjoyment in Jason X. Resurrection has nothing.

This was the first Halloween movie I ever saw. We were like 10 years old in a classmate's birthday party and we actually got scared LOL Now I want to rewatch it and see how laughable actually is

What I wanna know is why in all of these movies whenever someone wants to dress as Michael Myers they always somehow manage to get the mask from the movie they are in despite the whole series having different masks lol

I remember seeing this in the theater, Busta Rhymes was really popular at the time and everyone in the theater cheered during his interactions with Mike. I could only get through the movie once lol, it was really bad.

Your costumes are AMAZING (especially Pumping Iron Arnold) and the content given was also very good, but I want MORE! This video should have been at least twice as long 😭

While watching this, I thought of a few idea that they COULD'VE used instead of this garbage. 1.) Don't make another one at all. (Well... H20 made a $55 million dollars so uhh... that's not gonna happen.) 2.) I know it didn't happen but try the no Michael Myers idea again: There's so many original ideas they could've done with something horrifying happening on the Halloween season and could've made a great avenue for smaller unknown directions to make horror movies that would be seen by more people than it most likely would have otherwise. I know they originally wanted to for this movie's early development so why tf didn't they do it? 3.) Laurie is enjoying her retirement after finally stopping Michael Myers like maybe she wrote a book, and has a new rich boyfriend. (Like her character in Freaky Friday.) But back in Haddonfield, murders start up once again and the town's teens seek out Mrs. Strode to come back to her hometown to help. Laurie, now taking a Loomis-like role must help them stop the killer who might be Michael or might just be a copycat who's been overly obsessed with Michael for years. (Kind of like the killer obsessed patient in this movie's opening or a Riddler-type nerd.) 4.) Maybe wipe everything completely for a new start and establish a fully new cast of characters who are attacked by a new killer who's built up as Michael throughout the film only to subvert your expectations in the final act. 5.) Maybe after killing Michael, Laurie begins to have a mental breakdown with psychotic thoughts like if Michael successfully broke her. And once Halloween rolls around again, she KILLS someone. Maybe her son or some trick-or-treater who happened to come to her house at the wrong time. She gets locked up in a mental asylum and murders of patients begin there as well AND it raises the question: Is Michael alive, or has Laurie gone full-blown insane because of her fucked-up life? It could be a great character study of what happens to the mind after 20 plus years of torment as a survivor that's so tragic and more psychological instead of blood-soaked slashing that could also make Michael scary in a new and modern way. (So yeah, basically a more thought out, better made and white horseless version of Rob Zombie's H2.)

I take that back, my favorite Halloween film is Halloween 2 1981

Great content, you guys have great chemistry together. The sound on this was horrendous though. Those clip on mics hurt my ears a lot. Especially when Chris kept accidentally scratching the mic with his beard. Still giving ya a thumbs up though!

I didn't see this movie in the theater I was nine years old when it came out. I saw the movie back in 2009 when I was in high school. When I was just getting into horror movies, and into the Halloween franchise.

Jamie Lee Curtis didn't want to do Halloween 3 in the 80s. She came back 20 years later & chopped off Michael Myers head in 1998. Didn't want to do Resurrection so she was killed off. She Wanted to come back this time round for Halloween 2018. So I guess she will come back again in 2038, she sure likes coming back every 20 years to a franchise she doesn't want to be apart of anymore.
