Why Hanzo MIGHT Become Sub-Zero | Mortal Kombat 1 Theory/Discussion 

I think he should become Noob Saibot 🤔

Imagine if Hanzo ends up as Takeda. Pretty much just adding the frosting before putting the cake into the oven

I think Hanzo becoming Scorpion and possibly even him killing Bi Han could be canon events. This time Hanzo witnesses his clan and Harumi (who would probably be a mother figure of his instead of his wife obviously) die, actually being slaughtered by Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei. So this time around his vengeance is actually justified.

My theory is that they'll retread the Shirai Ryu massacre, with Quan Chi slaughtering the Shirai Ryu and Kuai under the guise of Bi-Han. Hanzo would witness this (having survived the encounter) and would take on the mantle of Scorpion, vowing to kill Bi-Han for what he and his clan did. Bi-Han however would be unaware of this happening, all the while training Frost who shows great promise. The Lin Kuei would be visited by Shang Tsung who Bi-Han is none too happy to see. Shang Tsung would offer him a place in a tournament he has decided to hold his island (the same island some vs. dialogues hints he found powerful magic, maybe soul magic?), but Bi-Han would decline, wanting nothing to do with the Sorcerers anymore. That is, until he hears that Kuai Liang will be attending. He reluctantly accepts, bringing Frost along as the opportunity to kill his brother and put down his clan for good is too great to pass up. Quan Chi on the other hand would drop his guise and approach Hanzo as he is grieving the lost of his clan and mentor, offering him a chance to avenge then. He would weave the lies that Bi-Han saw the Shirai Ryu as a threat and wanted to slaughter them, but more importantly, he would be attending a tournament on Shang Tsung's island. Hanzo, filled with rage and a searing fire burning within him accepts. To honor his mentor Kuai, he would adorn the mantle of Scorpion and make haste for the island. The events that follow here will lead to Bi-Han's death, innocent of the Shirai Ryu massacre, but Hanzo would hear none of it. Quan Chi would take advantage of this to revive Bi-Han as Noob Saibot. Frost, having witnessed the murder of Bi-Han, would take the mantle of Sub-Zero. Frost's trajectory would take a major shift in the story from one of power and revenge to one of wisdom and redemption as she would face the demons laid out by her former master with the Cyber Initiative spiraling out of control and Noob Saibot's confession that she was just a means to an end in solidifying the Lin Kuei's grip on Earthrrealm.

Shang Tsung is basically the same because of Liu Kang! If Liu Kang had given him a better life he wouldn't have to resort to being a snake oil salesmen to survive and he wouldn't so easily have been tempted by the thought of power and ruling

Hanzo is not gonna be Sub Zero or Noob Saibot because he has the fire in him. So Hanzo will be Scorpion and Kuai will be Sub Zero.
