Now that I'm doing three full body workouts a week I have that fourth day of active recovery which includes rotation of work as well as anti-rotation and I still see myself getting stronger week after week
All my life I hated running. I waa in a car accident 15 years ago that left me paralyzed on half of my body, these days I use specific strength training to regain my movement, but now, I find myself wanting to run, even though I know I've always hated it.
Nsima you're pretty much doing Poi with the ropes at this point. If you wanna learn more moves, transitions, planes, etc. start checking into Poi tutorials. Poi has been phenomenal for loosening up my stacked spine from BJJ, powerlifting, and strongman!
“The concept of a "solar callus" seems to be an idea without significant scientific backing or recognition. If it refers to the idea of developing a toughened or more resilient skin due to exposure to solar radiation, it's not a recognized or credible term in dermatology or related fields. In reality, prolonged exposure to the sun can lead to a range of skin conditions, from sunburn to premature aging and an increased risk of skin cancer. The skin does have a natural ability to tan as a defense mechanism, producing more melanin to protect against UV radiation, but this is not the same as forming a "callus." The best approach for protecting the skin from the harmful effects of the sun is the use of sunscreen, wearing protective clothing, and limiting direct sun exposure during peak hours.” Perhaps the very gradual adaptation argument is legitimate, I don’t know. I believe there are schools of that that -light skinned people evolved further north than they typically are, -our ancestors were covered more than we acknowledge, -that people typically got skin cancer and died, like it was a fact of life.
