When BJP does groundwork, cadres get proper attention, RSS is consulted, there is no stopping BJP election machine. But when BJP becomes overconfident, ignores RSS and regional leaders, they will be bite dust. We saw that in 2024 when BJP was overconfident woth it 400 par slogan. In Haryana, INC became overconfident. They thought winning 99 seats and stoping below 272 is everything and 10 years anti incumbency, protests will give them 60 seats. But BJP consolidated anti Jat votes and won

Yashvant is wrong. BJP’s vote share is 0.9% more than that of Congress in Haryana. Overall, BJP polled 1 lakh and 18 thousand votes more than congress.

As a Jat from Haryana, I can tell you that Congress was winning hands down a month back. All Congress leaders should have shut up and stay at home and they would have won. But. But. But. Kumari Selja thought she could become CM with RaGa help. This irked Hooda and he and his “goons” started using language which is bad for non Jats and also asserted Jat dominance. This made Selja move away, and Hooda did everything possible to ensure Selja’s group doesn’t get many seats. Hooda was too successful at it 😂 Plus, the aggression by Jats polarised all other castes. “Aa rahi hai Congress” sounded more like a threat rather than an announcement as happened to SP when “Aa rahe hain Akhilesh” scared the living sh*t out of UPites. BJP didn’t win Haryana, Congress lost it all on its own.

I agree to all of your points. The only thing I don't agree is that too much holler by Cons made non-Jats fearful of Cons/Jats. I guess people had enough experiences from the past, and such negative experiences take a lot of time to go away. Also, often people aren't vocal about such experiences but it severely affects their voting choices. Just look at UP.

@@ahamasmiarinm You can be right but as we saw in 2024 National election, there was a substantial shift of Dalit votes towards Congress. Something must have happened after that which consolidated Dalit as well as other non Jat votes to consolidate against Congress. And my point that “Aa rahin Hooda ya aa rahi hai Congress” actually sound like a threat to non Jats.

@@rajsinghji-84 As far as I read the situation: 1. Dalit votes never actually shifted towards Cons. During 2024 LS elections Cons narrative about reservation cracked the Dalits, only for them to realize later that they have been fooled by Cons narrative. On ground, Cons haven't done even 10% of what BJP has done for Dalits. 2. "Aa rahin Hooda" seemed like a threat only because of people's past experiences with Hooda/Cons. I drew the analogy with UP on this, because there too the narrative in 2022 became that SP is coming. And people's lived experiences with SP made it seem like a threat. Motivated people always ignore/overlook that people just don't look for an alternative, they look for a better alternative, "better" being the keyword here.

How does he say Congress has more votes than BJP? According to EC website, it is BJP 39.9% and Cong is 39.07% approx. Pradeep Gupta atleast accepts that he has gone wrong. This guy Yashwant never accepts that he has gone wrong and always gives lame excuses. He has got both vote share and seat share wrong.

Having learnt their lessons from the Lok Sabha setback BJP did well to keep Modi in the background and project the local leaders and their views in these elections. Secondly they mended their relationship with RSS to a huge advantage.😊

Congress party and Rahul gang used farmers protest for destruction and scared non congress party voters and neutral voters. Same thing they did in Punjab and lost it. All they do is emotional and negative campaigns whether they are in power(Punjab) or opposition(haryana), both states they lost it. They are doing same in Maharashtra(as opposition) and in Karnataka(in power). My guess is definitely they are going to loose these two states also.

BJP was saved by replacing Saini with Khattar while Congress still concentrated on Hooda family. They should move ahead of Bhupinder Hooda. The result would have been different if Kumari Sejla and Rajdeep Surjewala were made more public.

Why is he saying, In Haryana, congress got more votes than BJP. AS per ECI data BJP 39.94% is clearly more than Congress 39.09% even though margin is very small. However J&K seams a bigger joke of democracy. Vote % wise BJP is biggest party but NC got more seats in J&K.

Mr. Deshmukh - BJP polled more votes than Congress, so dont know why the first few mins of analysis is on bogus data. Seemed more focused on CYA about exit polls. You all got the vote share wrong as well. Exit polls are absolutely useless with a shelf life of 2-3 days.

1. It seems Yashwant has changed his views after knowing the Haryana results!!! Yesterday his organization gave completely different story during exit polls!! But overall, Yashwant is talking sense. In fact, every party should do such surveys say, 3 months before the elections, to understand the issues which concern voters and how to tackle them. 2. How does it matter for BJP and the country, that Modi is still a factor or not. It is Modi who put BJP on the solid track with 3 continuous terms as of now. BJP should focus on ruling term after term, as it means to serve the country and lead it to development and prosperity. We should stop thinking in terms of anti incumbency and democracy etc. Leader at the top will set the broader agenda but workers at the bottom must be able to convince voters that the party and the Govt is working for them.

The data science methods used by exit polls needs to change . It’s best to be humble when dealing with India voter data, this really requires a relook at the standard models which assumes a certain homogeneity of population for prediction. Anyways the total voter share of BJP is 39.94 % and INC is 39.09% .
