Because Labour is no longer for the working class and just runs the country into debt. Furthermore, the Blaire and G. Brown era is still raw in the people's minds. The Lib Dems are Dictators and crazy, disillusioned WOKE.
Was it a slip. I rewound (showing my age) that part 5 times because I thought I was hearing things. Definitely a moniker thar should be used throughout the election campaign
@@georgewaters6424 bit of a stretch there mate. I wouldn't equate my life experiences with the dictionary knowledge of nicknames political commentators use for MPs.. because "I get out much"?
All the polls are down; And the sky is grey I walked out of No. 10; On a foreboding day I’d be safe and dry; If I were in L.A. California dreamin’; On such a desolate day California dreamin’; On such a desolate day
He presided over the 2008 crash as an investment banker and made money and has done the same in the past 8 years he has no guilt, he’s to arrogant, I mean pure arrogance!
How do you preside over a world event when you are employed at a bank? You might as well say the same of every investment banker going. If you do a bit of research Nigel Farage was never an investment banker. Trawling through the internet Nigel Farage is listed in a number of places as a commodies trader, specifically in the London Metal Exchange. He never apepars to have worked as an investment banker ever. When you are presiding over something you have some influence over it, technically the dictionary definition means "in charge of or in control of." So, you are saying Nigel Farage was in charge of the 2008 finicial crisis that was the US mortgage sub prime market afordability and repayment problem. The people in the UK who presided over the 2008 financial crisis for the UK were, the prime minister, chancellor of the exchequer and the governor of the Bank of England. Those people were Gordon Brown (Labour), Alistair Darling (Labour) and Mervyn King (appointed by Gordon Brown). Whilst you might not like Nigel Farage, you credit him with too much power and influence that he simply never had in 2008.
@@iggysfriend4431 No, you misunderstand. He was part of a team specifically engaged in masterminding the events leading up to the crash. It's not just guilt by association.
So it comes down to voting for the man who held a press conference outside in the rain, without a hat, coat or umbrella, or the man who did it indoors.
It's going to help Sunak when some of your colleagues allow him to spout lies and drivel without pushback. How you look some of your colleagues in the eye is beyond me?
I am amazed James that you are the only person to ask that…Sunak has claimed all sorts of stuff he’s never done but no one challenges him…I heard “Tory Boy” spouting about how the Tories had created 4500 jobs…but no one asked him how….
I am laughing so hard I'm crying and when I'm not laughing I'm just crying . This is because of the circus , that is politics...Luckily for my mental health I can turn off these messages but one day I have hope that this circus will leave town and the messages we all endure will be of a healthier sustainable and more complete nature.
This has got June 1970 all over it. He’ll be hoping for a wave of optimism in glorious weather (as then) and an England quarter final in a major tournament. When In The Summertime by Mungo Jerry is announced as his campaign theme we’ll know for sure.
He's called a snap election before summer ends because he knows his nonsense promises will never come to fruition and has to campaign on successes that 'might' happen instead of failures that 'have' happened.
@@V4Now times have changed since Labour were last in power. This country is a whole different kettle of fish now. I’m neutral so I don’t see it as Tory vs Labour. The Tories have been appalling but Labour are truly special. We shall see………
Submitting letters of NO CONFIDENCE. That's sweet,, I've been saying for years that unless we have the choice to vote for a NO CONFIDENCE in the ballot box it cannot be considered a Democratic vote.
The UK regularly holds elections, and the public freely chose their leaders. As such, one could say that the public -?in whichever country you like - gets the government it deserves. 😂
I can only assume something absolutely horrendous is in the offing and that is why he's gone now. Something which is a result of brexit I wld think. Why is no one talking about the half million leaving UK every year?!
The reason why he didn't use an umbrella? The Sun headline from when Steve Mclaren was England Manager and England lost a crucial match. Mclaren was photographed looking drenched and hapless, despite the umbrella. The object on media hate and ridicule, the headline the next morning was: THE WALLY WITH THE BROLLY. Still, don't worry, Rishi - things can only get better. 😅
Don't we need to start talking about the honours list and what it will do to the future balance in the other place! He will obviously be happy with rewarding those who have already rinsed the public coffers.
Why on earth wld sunak care what anyone thinks of him. He doesn't care about working class pple, remember he doesn't know any, so I believe u r crediting him with a compassion he does not have.
The caller who said _the public_ was correct, or to be precise- Anyone who voted for the Tories or who voted Leave or even to a lesser degree didn't vote against them or it. They're all responsible and they're all still out there and still will be after the Tories are gone.
The people ordinary British people working people have Voted for Tories again &again & again & again &again. Remember Thatcher won again & again & again & again . Who What is Starmer? Stalinist or Socialist?
Do you have any idea how bad things are going to be by the end of summer, when the sewage has had months to brew up raw sewage related diseases like dysentery and typhoid and cholera? All the antibiotic resistant bacteria breeding and multiplying and mutating??
Answer: meat contains water. During freezing, the frozen water molecules grow in size, like tiny crystals that grow and over time disrupt the texture of the meat. The slower the rate at which it is frozen, the worse the effect. The red fluid after thawing is the «juice » of the meat.
Plans. The Tories talk about having a plan. Does that mean they have not had a plan to date? If they did have a plan then why do they think we in such a mess? (NHS, Immigration, economy).
The economy is based on a GDP of 3.5Trillion $ Which generates a budget of only £650Billion. Taxing the biggest sector, by 10% more will generate another £150 Billion that could fund the services such as youth programmes and elderly+child care.
He’s doing it so he avoids this years strikes from the public sector and NHS who have been offered a measly pay uplift this year, the union are intending to turn it down. He wants the GE before all of that chaos because he has plenty of money for war but not for nurses, psychologists, care assistants, local council workers etc.
At a glance...1 was reading from a well rehearsed script, the other 1, was talking directly to a crowd without looking down once at a written script. It's very obvious who is telling fibs.
The only reason he couldn't wait any longer was the long term view is only getting worse, and he knew it. Between now and January 2025, things, as bad as they are now, are going to get worse. Only Labour can introduce new policy which can turn things around.
I voted brexit just(we never had truthfull honest debate(but in 2019 went with corbyn liked his manifesto, I cant beleive what we are putting up with.sorry people we all need to get involved in politics wide and varied.
he's called it because a) he knows they've already lost so what's the point, pull the plaster quick. b) He wakes up each morning curled up like an ickle feotus in the corner of his massive bed (normal sized really) petrified about the next wave of disasters of the day and has run out of underwear to cope. But in all seriousness, he's doing a cammy (david cameron) and getting out before the storm hits.
Who's to blame for the state of the nation? In an ideal world the blame would fall on the entire Tory party. Personally, I think it should be the architects of austerity, division and Brexit... Cameron/Osborne. Those that followed just ran (on steroids) with what they introduced.
Suella could and would like to replace him if he hadn’t call for an election. We haven’t yet touched the bottom of the barrel until suella and Rees-la-mugg have a go as PM. It would have been a great lark 😂😂😂 Sunak just spoiled our fun 😱😱
