The reason why the notorious b.i.g gets a pass is because he never once denied any of this in fact he was explicitly honest about his reality....let me telling why in some circles frank white is considered the greatest of all time ..its because The Notorious B.I.G was "Dead Wrong"...woooooo...that's bone chilling
Fr most people not invested in celebrities personal life. We just know the music n that’s what we like even with R Kelly. The whole industry is sick n anyone who’s part of it is definitely participating in the devil work.
It’s crazy because as a person who dislikes men who hit and abuse women it’s hard not not listen to his music. Part of it is because if you were born in the 80s and grew up listening to them and loving their music you didn’t know about any of their personal stories. So after their deaths that everything came out to light is hard to just overnight dislike their music
Wow! My Fuckin G! 🫡 You literally the 1st person I've seen/heard even mention Styles these days! Myan Styles is doing his thing! Living his life the way he should but just as importantly, how he wants & seem genuinely at peace/happy! Good shit my G! 🤘🏽🫡
@@ThaShowStopper Salute! Much respect to you for that! Only the realest know who SP the Ghost is nowdays I grew up on SP mixtapes and the LOX. Ghost In The Shell is one of the hardest mixtapes of all time, Gunman by Styles motivated me thru half my life. God bless you G respect

You're totally right Flakko. We love these people's music but if you're being totally objective, this is the reality. I love that you are fearless and bring the truth without thinking of the potential backlash.
Not really spineless its just "black culture". I mean honestly she could have walked away. No one know why these women chose to put themselves through this bullshit. I guess its worth it for the money and surgeries
@greensteinloud4982 It is cowardly, spineless and shameless; regardless of what "culture". Intimidation and threats go a long way but yeah its wild what people for money.
Flakko is real as fvck for making this video. It is absolutely time that we stopped celebrating monsters simply because they are entertainer's. It's definitely really hard for somebody within the community to stand up and say something like this! Flakko knew he was going to take mad shots for this and did it anyways. I appreciate your voice bro! I appreciate even more that you're using it the way you are. We appreciate you being a leader vs a follower!!!🤘🏿
I knew Pun was abusive to his wife, but it's the first I've heard of abusing his children too. It hurts to hear that as Pun is in my top 5 MC's, despite being a tyrant to his family
He didn't have any real power over them they literally went upstairs because he was too fat to get up the stairs without help. There's a video of that happening.
Top 5? Lmaooo hell nah 😂😂 he not no where near Raekwon, Nas, Big L, Jay, Em hell even Busta a way better artist smh ppl just have nostalgia bad man I tell you.
It's disgusting how many fans are defending the actions of Big Pun any man who abuses a child is unforgivable, this is confirmed by multiple witnesses on home video im sure if they have the mothers assult they have the childrens abuse the family is not going to speak on something they can't verify with actuall proof because of his legacy.
Some people are so emotionally invested that it literally clouds their rationality. Pun was a super dope rapper, once I saw him pistol whipping his wife I knew he was a savage frfr
I would never try to defend his actions, they were downright cruel. But to give perspective on how be became who he was, his Mom was a dope fiend and never paid attention nor really gave any love to him, and his Dad physically and mentally abused him. As the saying goes, hurt people hurt people. Chris Rivers can break the cycle 🙏
I completely agree that it's cringe watching the grown men laugh about these stories of abuse. However Kim was laughing while telling the story. And everybody digests trauma differently. What I mean by this is I have a very dark sense of humor. Me and my friends think it is absolutely hilarious when I just throw the dead fish in somebody's lap of "my mom died when I was a kid" 😂 the reaction is always priceless people just don't know what to do with it. It is something that has helped me deal with it my entire life. A great example of this is stand up. They say the equation for comedy is tragedy+ time= comedy. So while it can be definitely difficult for others to see it because it's cringey to many, there's a lot of people that use humor to get past grief and trauma. List of our favorite comedians are comedians that did super dark humor up while doing stand up. Again I cannot make this any clearer I am not saying that woman abuse isn't any way acceptable. And I'm not saying it wasn't cringey to watch dudes laugh at domestic abuse. But we also can't pretend like this isn't subject matter that's been made humorous time and time again. So when Kim giggles while telling the story I don't feel like the guys are doing anything wrong by laughing with her. Many defeat trauma and tragedy with humor. It doesnt mean it didnt hurt or that the person is emotionless. It's just their way of coping and getting through the day 🤘🏿 I hope this might help anybody who doesn't understand that side of it 🤞🏿
Pun has been my favorite rapper since childhood, but that doesn’t change the fact that the man was a monster. I try my best to separate the art from the artist. Another 🔥🔥🔥 video, Flakko!!
@@Ocular_Patdown.-.you’re both wrong - it makes you an enabler and weak asl…if you’re cool with that, just accept it but don’t say you separate the art from the artist because if they’re alive (not in the case) then you’re feeding the monster.
this is exactly why i watch flakko on here and NJ. he is not biased when it comes to all these “legends” and “superstars” , almost everyone else just sides with their favorites but flakko keeps it fair across the board 💯💯
Its crazy i used to hate flakko on no jumper but with his on platform where he can speak clear no stuttering no one interrupting him no one clowning him bro got tf on and did better than ever did it seem like even when he speak he matured a little cause he not being so reckless for clicks keep goin flak you gon see 100k soon 🎉
Remember…Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal said in at least two of his videos that after Biggie’s wife at the time, Faith, came back from Cali, and the word was that Pac and Faith were intimate with each other while she was out there…that upon her return, she walked into some studio, somewhere that most of the folks from BadBoy was hanging out, that Biggie was hiding behind a wall, waiting for Faith as she was walking around, and when she got close enough to where he was at, Biggie snatched her up, took her into a room and started beating the crap out of her.

This is ridiculous. damn near the whole rap genre is based of some sort of negativity one way or the other. drugs, violence, vulgar language, disrespect to women, the justice system, you name it. So don't try to single out rappers for being imperfect or bad. Jay-z rapped about shooting his brother and selling his mother crack. Snoop was on trial for murdering someone. 2pac was convicted for sexual abuse. Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation. But now all of them are viewed as icons. If you dig a little, you will find dirt on many of raps biggest names. Notice I said "dig a little" because you don't have to dig deep. But they are not here to defend themselves or tell their side. I don't agree with many things people do. And I don't condone this or that type of behavior. But I don't judge when I don't know all the facts. On a side note we don't celebrate their behavior. We celebrate their music. When an artist of any kind creates something, we admire what they created. (writing, music, painting, sculpting, etc) We don't ask about their personalities before we choose to admire them. There's no background check involved.
And no its not your only seeing th bad side, there's good sides of hip-hop and these niggas Don't represent real hip hop, so don't go on this anti rap rant, because of some bad apples of the bunch or by what someone Is saying on there, but no at other genres look at Country music see how many references in drug of trafficking and gun stores on that, and u really don't like it because it's Associated with black people
What does Elvis have to do with this Only a insecure black man would say so dumb shit like this. Are we black people original or devil you decide ? Wrong is wrong period.
I remember watching a Big Pun 2nd Documentary. In the film the day before his death, he spent one last time with his kids in the swimming pool. Later he was lying on his bed and looked at his wife Liza and ask if she has his back. She said yes. I don't condone his abusive action towards his wife and kids. I like to believe in his final days on earth, he did felt remorse and tried to amend things with his wife and kids. We shouldn't forget his abusive action toward his family but if he did tried to seek forgiveness, we as fans should acknowledge it.
WOW!!! I of course knew about Big Pun domestic issues...but this is Definitely the 1st that Ive heard of the Biggie abusing Kim thing. Mann. Thats Crazy. SMH 🤦♂️
People always cite Biggie bagging attractive women as testament to confidence but it actually says more about low self-esteem among those women. If they loved themselves they wouldn't have entertained a man who looked *and* behaved that way. I didn't know about Big Pun, that's horrific. I'll have to reconsider listening to their stuff.
A man that puts his hands on a woman unprovoked is no man at all. We're learning as a society that those people who we thought were so good, amazing, talented, etc. were some of the worst people on the planet. And look at how big pun was. He had no self control of himself or his anger and literally ate himself to death.
I dont know them personally, ik their art. Ill praise their contributions to music and not their character as men. I dont need them as role models and i feel empathy for the ones they hurt .
i understand where the victims are coming from, but these men are celebrated for their talent and not the person they were. At the end of the day we are all sinners, "No one is blameless".
Big Pun made Nas rewrite a verse after he hears Puns verse on John BlaE... Pun would rap circles around Jay and Beans...go back and listen to Capital Punishment
I still listen to them but I won’t ever defend them on this stuff, it’s perfectly normal to like an artist’s music without agreeing with everything they do or say. Separating the art from the artist
@@ontherealyourgaybig pun. Artist known for his LP "Pistol Whipping Women" with R Kelly it makes more sense with your weak argument but even still you can separate that and no its not a consumers responsibility to care about victims the whole goddamn country is designed that way fool Go after the labels and the people who paid and profited from these guys and sometimes even enabled them. The fuck you pissed at fans for? Dead in the middle of little italy......
Crazy thing is, Biggie was so huge at that time even after he died it was hard to show him in a bad light. Them dudes laughing out of fear, but reality is big pun and Biggie were nuts. Big pun was so gangster he was the real terror in terror squad. I don't approve none of what they did but back then awareness isn't how it is now
A few years ago I saw a video about Big Pun and they showed a home surveillance video of Big Pun beating his wife! That coupled with her interview was really sad.
Great job. As an artist I always respected their talents. But as I've gotten older a lot of artist I grew up with didn't age well. These skeletons emerging from the past (1990's) about our hip hop "royalty" continues to get darker.
As far as biggie goes you can't point out 2 fights he had with kim and pretty much label his whole life as being a monster. Now Pun is different. He definitely was a monster, his whole marraige and kids upbringing was centered around abuse, there's no disputing that
we should appreciate jermaine risking backlash by talking about something so controversial about biggie, this could've turned out really bad for him but he chose to be honest regardless
Most people that listened to their music never knew either of them… clearly they love the music and that’s really all they can since most people never knew them
The irony is what did JD do to defuse the situation. It's like people just sit back and watch. Nothing wrong with stepping in-between your friend and another to prevent a life changing mistake being made. Same as in the case of Big Pun. Three men just sat back and watched. Tina turner was fortunately sheltered by powerful and respecting white men namely Mick Jagger and David Bowie to name a few. Hence Ike not being celebrated. Mick Jagger produced the James Brown biopic. He was also in works with Andre 3000 over ten years ago on production of the Jimmy Hendrix biopic. There are no such gatekeepers in Hip Hop. everyone one is a savage out for self in Hip Hop.
Biggie had his homies ther with guns…he was willing to shoot lil kim who was his childhood/teenage friend imagine what BIG would do to JD who he was jealous of for getting kim’s attention….he’s not gonna say it but JD was obviously terrified of BIG…i wasn’t there but im sure one of JD’s homies had guns as well he should’ve done something…i think it’s wrong that he didn’t do shit that day but he’s telling that story more then 20 years later for clout..after BIG is gone
I think people separate the art from the artist. I like Pun, but the criticism is well deserved. I don't like when artists get criticized. Then, the fans try to damage control or excuse their behavior.
This is the first video of poetic flakko that i see and shout outs to him for bringing this to light and this should bring him into the top for being a good hip hop reporter instead of being ridiculed here and their....never seen his videos before but ive seen alot of diss to him but don't understand why???
I agree with you alot on topics but this time imma have to respectfully disagree because we're celebrating the music and not the personal life of the rappers
I think we need to learn how to separate art from the artist, i grew up where we knew r.kelly was a messed up person but still knew he made great music.
Big could have crushed tupac by just sitting on him he was not physically a threat to Big at any point he was a lightweight in comparison. Think about what the hell you are saying logically. Its like comparing a cheetah to a full grown lion no contest.
Pun's son said his song "Fear OF My Crown" wasn't about his father, but about domestic violence and wanted to raise awareness about the topic. I guess I'll take him at his word, but with what we know it's hard to not think Chris' song is about Pun's abusive behavior.
I totally agree with you but what I don't agree with is me being more upset than the people it happened to. I didn't know pun or big personally to judge them on personal issues I only knew then through the music and that's the only thing I can speak on.
I think Biggie and Pun are some of the greatest to ever do it. Being a good rapper has nothing to do with who you are as a person. We can still appreciate the skill but condemn the man. We should not see these people as role models or angels and we should call them out on it. But I don't think we can take away from their skill and influence. Capital Punishment is still one of the greatest records in Hip Hop but also I hope Pun burns in hell.
I'm 38 and The Notorious B.I.G has been my ultimate hero since 94"...hands down and all this documentary did was confirmed that all that horrific shit B.I.G rapped about wasn't rap..no cap in his rap...the man never denied any of this or even made any attempt to hide it...
