Projectiles are fine on the hive, just different, but PLEASE hive make the void lower. 90% of my failed pearl clutches are to dying to fast to the void before the pearl hits.

They also should put a cooldown for enderpearls just like vanilla cuz for mobile players, you need to hold your screen to throw projectiles but if you don't have the perfect timing, you'll 100% going to throw multiple of them. Also, if hive was to put the enderpearl teleport mechanic, you would get stuck in a block every time you throw one lol (Experienced it while I was making my practice map).
Honestly as someone who uses pearls a lot in treasure wars - for the longest time I wanted them to go further, however, if they were to travel further then getting to peoples islands would be easier and so would running away. I actually like that in order to go from mid to someone’s base I have to knockback boom box jump then throw a pearl - it’s kinda my whole persona on TikTok. I think the only issue with the projectiles is that it’s not the same as most servers so people who play across servers struggle to understand it. However, for us Hive mains, I honestly don’t have a problem with any of them, I’m not either for nor against them being like vanilla. I think we would all just adapt anyway! Nice video!! very highly disagree, hive pearls have it so they feel like a waste. the amount of times i have thrown a pearl and it hits the side of an island because of the lack of momentum is countless,BUT getting away would be easier but isn’t that one of the big points of an enderpearl? and for the cost of 3 emeralds is quite fair to me because usually there is only 1 player who goes to em and gets all of them. in my opinion ender pearls need to be buffed.

Im not even a bedrock player and i love watching your videos I really think minecraft bedrock has a future and I regret buying java before because I cant get bedrock now.
Both are geat games and have pros and cons. Im glad i can see a java player want to be a bedrock player as i wanted to be a java player for so long but gave up on it
@@CaptainTex34 if half of the people got it for free then it would not be in any stores like appstore and playstores top paid games. Not to mention piracy is wrong since you are basically stealing. I will admit I once pirated it when I was a kid. And if you wanted to know, no getting it for free from a friend or family who paid for it is not piracy as it is a paid copy that they own and they are allowed to do anything with it except for reselling and giving it to websites so other people can pirate.
Very good video, personally I’m not affected too much by snowballs and enderpearls, I feel they are fine as they are, mainly because I’ve learnt how they work now. However with bows I feel they should be changed to not swerve up and have that annoying dip, but once again because I’ve learnt them I feel they shouldn’t be like vanilla. Also that clip at 5:53 👀
I would say that snowballs and bows are relatively balanced. I would say that ended pearls going further would be cool and I would like that in most casinarios but if you got an e pearl in one of you spawn chest in skywars your garenteed E-chests at mid before everyone else because you can throw them all the way there.
I remember being extremely confused when I first play the hive because my projectiles essentially never hit, even thought there may be something wrong with my wifi or I'm lagging. Took around a week or so that I realized that this "problem" was too consistent to be a bug.
As a RU-vidr that makes a lot of content about clutching, I can definitely say that it would take a while to get used to new pearl mechanics. This isn’t to say that they’re good, but I’m used to them. I’m fine with the projectiles atm (although I would love if they extended the void) but maybe a little change would be ok. I’m a bridge player and their are types of bow shots called blundets or flats, which is where u barely load the bow, the arrow curves downwards but in the hive it’ll just go straight or curve up
I think that projectiles should stay as they are as every server is unique and hive likes to be unique so having there own game physics would only make sense
if hive increases the distance of ender pearl throw, it might go beyond the island when we throw it cuz the islands on skywars and treasure wars are both small and if we throw an enderpearl to go on a specific island it might go farther into the void and the enderpearl gets wasted
Ok, I definitely think snowballs are in a good place in sg because they are super rare. But most of the other stuff in the video I totally agree with, especially that snowballs need to be more expensive in treasure wars because you can literally run around mid once and there could only be one emerald in each gen, but you could still get 24 snowballs which is more than enough for a skilled person to just snowball you off the map, and with just one circle around mid with one emerald per gen, you already get way more snowballs then you could ever get in any other gamemode. My suggestion would be maybe making 6 snowballs cost 3 emeralds, or keeping the cost at 1 emerald but for only 2 or 3 snowballs.
I feel like the projectiles should be more like this: Snowballs: I feel like the 44 block range is quite good for these as they are not usually used for long range but they should definitely be more expensive in Treasure wars Bows: in my opinion they are fine in their current state but I feel that if the range was increased and arrows were harder to get they would be useful for long range shots to hit people off bridges but also couldn't be spammed because of the lack of arrows Ender pearls: just make them go further because I and most others tend to play a variety of servers and worlds and when I spend a day on worlds with my friends and then switch to the hive for a few games I end up dying countless times to misjudged pearl throws
I think they should be less common, but I REALLY don’t want the knock back should be changed. I do think pearls should go farther, but snowballs and bows I’m not sure. I think to no armour a bow should do 3.5 or 4 hearts. But, please don’t change knockback hive. I’m with deezee here.
In my opinion, Hive snow balls KB is The best KB you could get, But The bow is broken When I shoot it the arrow Just disappears. I hope they could fix it as soon as possible.
What I feel that what deezee mj and evident don’t understand is the Hive’s target audience; maybe 20% of the Hive community play Minecraft for the Hive as a server. Maybe 5% of all bedrock server players play Minecraft solely for the server - the point is that most people tend to spend time on vanilla Minecraft, and normalizing projectiles would help the hive better reach these communities and audiences, for they are the people that cubecraft is capturing.
There fine right now. I have no issues with the meta and never knew the bow was different because I’ve never really played vanilla. As for KB on snowballs i like it now. It’s not that bad right now for skywars as for TW it’s crazy bc you can get several stacks and continually combo you. + if pearls threw farther it could go way too far and it would ruin it, because pearls IMO are already way too OP and even throwing farther wouldn’t help. I think the void should go lower.
You don’t need to move your camera up and down while mj bridging Edit:just letting you know if you move your cross gate up and down and your opponent jumps up with you you don’t see so he can come unexpectedly at you.
I’d say the custom projectiles make the server more fun I think but they are inconsistent. If you play on the hive often then you’ll lose your vanilla projectile skill since you’ll be used to the hive projectiles. They should be switched to vanilla for the sake of consistency and not losing skill just because you played on one specific server. Like I don’t want to ever play pvp on Hive since I don’t want to ruin my skill.
I think snowballs and enderpearls are fine as is, and if the argument is that snowballs are too common, enderpearls are just as easy to get, just in less quantity, and all you need to counter snowballs is an enderpearl. They also aren't hard at all to pick up or get used to. It took me a few hours when first joining the server to get used to snowballs and enderpearls, honestly. Not only that, but snowballs feel much easier to use than on vanilla.
Snowballs are a little Op, but just a little. Personally I belive i'm pretty good with snowball aim and timing, but its just too easy to master, or at least in my opinion it is. If you're equally matched with another player and they have 3 snowballs and you have non, they basically got a free combo on you. However this is kind of a rare scenerio. Overall I feel like the physics are fine right now however there is room for improvement if they choose to go that way
I havent tested it on vanilla mc but when throwing snowballs up from a 1 block tube or pillar, a team that receive damage or kb to the snowballs will just fly in the tube.
Ah yes, the “projectile ark”, a kid once hackusated me because he thought my snowballs where locked onto him, but the ark was as what got him tripping lol. Frfr, if hive can pull this off they should make a beta ltm or something that has experimental features so they can receive feedback on the changes.
But Cubecraft Makes me gets confused on aiming like I shoot literally on top of a kid it literally goes on his feet when i aim on his body he gets hit like Aerodynamic Physics's in hive is inverted lol
I would love the ender pearls to go farther. When I first started playing on the hive I couldn't land an ender pearl because I thought it was like vanilla MC so I was constantly missing them so I think making them go a farther distance would be great. Now snowballs and bow shots in sky wars, I think they're fine not a big deal. But in Treasure Wars there needs to be a nerf for snowballs. its just so annoying at how cheap they are like seriously? 1 emerald for 6 of them? They need to make it around 2 for 6 or 1 for 3 That's just my thoughts on it though
Honestly, i think snowballs are fine, i would rather not have to change my intuition that little bit too far off to throw me off on muscle memory the only thing i want fixed about bows is that dumb thing where the arrow goes up for no reason idk if its just me but pearls just dont seem to land? i will fall off and throw a pearl and it will A) Hit the wall for some reason idek or B) land well after i die. not always, but enough to be relatively consistent.
tbh I would like to see the enderpearls go farther because I've missed enderpearl clutches for that sole reason. I absolutely love the snowballs and if you look at cubecraft as an example, although they use vanilla mechanics, the kb they take is basically none.....*Proceeds to mj classic the whole game.
I’m honestly fine with how the snowball psychics are. They’re mainly used at closer ranges and therefore I don’t care as much on how far they go. Now for the bow. They ABSOLUTELY SUCK. I’m a bow person in vanilla PVP and on the Hive it’s basically unusable. I just can’t hit any long distance shot. They aren’t that bad in SG though. For pearls I don’t really like them. I don’t hate them as much as bows but honestly I miss a lot of my pearl throws because I mis-judge the distance. Not appreciated but they’re pearls. You can’t really get to mad at them.
I actually like to have a vannila mechanic on the hive. Since hive is the one of the biggest server, it will confused the hive pro player when they play in the other server or in personal multiplayer world like realm. Iam bad at explaining but, the player who is a sweat and a pro in hive that have a dream for becoming the best player will not be able to compete in the other server because the mechanic is different. They need to relearn it. So.... Idk. I do think vannila mechanic should be use in hive not just for projectile but also for the knockback. Sure the combo looks cool, but it's only in hive and if you play in another server you can't do the same combo because of the different knockback mechanic. So yeah
In my opinion, bow damage needs to be lowered, treasure wars snowballs need to be a bit more expensive, and pearls are fine it just takes getting used to.
lots of people want pearls to go farther in the hive but I completely disagree. in skywars on some small maps if you bridge just a couple of blocks you can pearl to mid from your island it would be really infuriating if a single pearl could determine whether your armor is good or not if you increased to pearl distance to 60 that's easily able to go from your base to mid in a fast time and if you change the pearls to vanilla Minecraft it would really suck for pearl-clutching because in vanilla the pearls curve which I find very counterintuitive and I find make it very hard to pearl clutch in vanilla
enderpearls on cube are the only projectile i have problem with they don't go anywhere and have no speed so if you are to enderpearl clutch (which i have before it's not easy) you have to do it almost instantly and you have to aim a little higher once you start falling you won't clutch you have to do it right as they hit you it's not easy with fast one's but it's also just not easy to use pearls because of the speed.
i do feel like snballs and bows are fine, i do think that the void could be deeper as u die as soon as u take damage and also u dont buy a pearl bc u think u need to cluch, bc u want to travel faster

Sinceramente, única coisa que eu exigiria uma mudança, seria no spam de bolas de neve no TW. Talvez se aumentassem o preço delas seria melhor. Honestly, the only thing I would require a change would be TW's snowball spam. Maybe if they raised the price it would be better.
love the video...But when talking about the knockback or the change of an object that any moving makes, it is not measured in speed. it is actually measured in the momentum of the projectile and the velocity. then is you find the change in velocity or acceleration, if one of these quantities is not giving you can measure the displacement of the object that is hit.
I think pearls should stay the way they are because people would be able to pearl to the middle instantly leaving people who didn't get pearls on their spawn island lacking behind. I've tested the pearls and I feel that they don't reach the middle for a reason.
Vanilla projectiles would just make the game more annoying. It might also make it take longer for pearls to land which could mess up ender pearl clutches. I think Hive mechanics make sense and are good.
Idk if it’s just me or the projectiles have like sharper aim on the hive and I love that and on the other hand vanilla Minecraft they like flop and go down like up then down
