out of all the actors on Gossip Girl Leighton was the most talented in my opinion. In the sad scenes she didn't just made you feel her pain with crying and whatsoever but just by looking into her eyes. That's a great actress in my opinion.
Yeah but Ed Westwick isn’t as much successful as an actor as Penn Badgley and Blake Lively(who is the most successful plus Sebastian Stan). The movies Ed Westwick is in doesn’t do well or get marketable much.
Taylor was a good actress but her singing is way too epic to give it up for TV shows. She made the right choice even if she is a diva. She sings like a BEAST!
@@robynthomason949 Let's see: Bad attitude, shows up for work "underdressed and under-prepared". Sounds like any teen who is bored and not interested in the job. Doesn't really matter if it's doing a TV show or working the register at McDonald's - I've seen it a hundred times before. Hell, I've *done* it myself.
honestly taylors attitude probably came from the fact that she didn't want to be there after meeting her at a show I can confirm she is actually super nice
Leighton might not know how iconic her character Blair was and how great she was in that role. That's why ppl. want to see her again and again in that iconic role.
If GG was today’s show Leighton would make deal with Chanel, would be a muse.I am still disappointed why she dis not cast much. She is brillant actress and sooo beautiful. But maybe she chose that.Wish her best 💖
I think she unofficially quit tbh. She was in a few movies after GG but I think she has kids now? She literally pursued acting because she wanted to take care of her brother and to become independent of their abusive mom. I think she's had enough of the acting thingz lol
Actually the dark phase of Jenny was based on the actress' style and behavior. And to be fair, her "diva" attitude was because she was stuck with a role she hated and had to world in an environment that the whole cast deemed toxic.
Leighton should have won an Oscar for her Blair character in gossip girl. She is good as Audrey Hepburn.Loved her ultra feminity ❤.Ed weswick chuck bass character was my second favourite because his impeccable good manners.the rest of the actors were great too playing their roles to perfection. Gossip girl is on my list of 14 best television 📺 series of all the time😊: -The wonder years. -Columbo. -Friends. -The Sopranos. -Breaking bad. -Gossip Girl. -Beverly hills 90210. -Falcon Crest. -This life. -Dallas -Tru Calling. -The L word. -Gilmore Girls. -I,Claudius.
It’s really disappointing to see that talented good looking characters still don’t have a big name. Gossip girl and friends is the most iconic cast ever.
Ed westwick has his own sitcom on the BBC, 'YOU' with Penn Badgley has just been renewed by Netflix for a 3rd season, Blake Lively always is busy, Taylor Momsen moved away from acting to focus on her music career. I dont see how this video has any relevance ?
Shes not mentioned because she's quite relevant still attending to met balls friendships with A listers and well shes married to Ryan Reynolds shes also the 42nd most followed celebrity on Instagram and Ryan is in the 37th spot and well Penn Badgley has gotten some popularity with the Netflix show (You)
@@williamgracia9216 I’m sorry i just found the video more like talking about their further carriers like I didn’t think the other cast members were inrelevant. Maybe just me lol
Regarding to Westwick, I stand with the victims. Not because the justice system bended to his favor does it mean he is innocent. Many rape accusation never proceed because there is not enough evidence and because the victim took a long time to speak up, but that doesn't make them any less valid. Also, rapists don't rape everyone, so Jessica or his other girlfriends' stating they don't think he would do it means nothing. I know dudes that were nice to me but assaulted my friends, confirmed. On the other hand, false accusations are not that frequent, statistically speaking.
Kind of clickbait title. It’s not that they WON’T cast Taylor, she’d said she still gets offers, it’s that she just doesn’t WANT to go back into acting. In 2010, and after the show finished, she said she’d never act again and that she was done with it. Recently though, she said she would go back to it, but if she was able to play a version of herself and not a character (not an exact quote, I’m just trying to remember what was said in the Instagram live quarantine interview). If she wanted to go back into acting then she probably would be hired. Personally I don’t believe the Tim Gunn stuff. Whether or not I believe it though, you can’t say, “The real reason..” because no one knows if it’s true or not. She says she left due to wanting to focus on music (which she did), he says she was rude for the one episode he was on. In her defence, everyone has off days. She was running on 1 hour of sleep a night, she was filming GG in the morning and then going to the studio at night. If she was rude, she could’ve been tired or off. But I remember he said she was on her phone a lot, she was 17 in 2010, what do you expect? She was a teenager. I doubt she was fired. Random fun fact though, she’s had 5 number 1s in general. The new album is called Death By Rock And Roll and is coming out on February 12th, 2021.
SETH COHAN AND BLAIR WALDORF ARE MARRIED?! 🤯 So basically Blair’s second husband is the “lowly boy” (Dorota reference, you catch it?) of the West Coast.
This is clearly biased and there are some more than lowkey digs here and there and a lot of judgment towards some of them. If i wanted that i would start a debate with fan accounts not watch a youtube video of someone trying to act like a reporter while still acting so unprofessional. I think no❤️
There is acually a very good reason for why actors often don't want to do parts like this in Gossip girl, the show, even movie series, can take on a life of its own and people will always see these actors as that character. It has noting to do with how talented the person is but everything to do with the viewers who can't see that face beond a single role. This is why Harrison Ford didn't want to play Han Solo in more than one movie, he got and offer he couldn't refuse, but he is acually few of the lucky ones who make it out side of a single role.
I think it would be cool to see michelle and chace in the gg reboot, as georgina's son is in the show, so it would make sense for a cameo and nate is a mayor (i think) so idk, maybe even a tv cameo or smt could be fun. Maybe a cousin of his (same age as the current cast) could throw a party where the teens are invited and nate greets them. I'd love to see leighton and blake too, but making them relevant to the plot seems a little farfetched. Though it would be really nice to get a new glimpse of blair and serena
Many thanks for this! It’s definitely a challenge balancing being a parent with all other aspects of our lives- including my own artistic endeavours as an independent musician 💕 Thankyou for the inspiration.
its the blonde girl, brunette guy phenomenon which you can also see looking at the friends stars. Jennifer Aniston is the only one who made it, same happened to Blake. David Schwimmer is semi-successful just like Penn Badgeley and nobody except the fans even know the others. Its honestly ALL ABOUT LOOKS BTW Chace aged baaadly
after being framed as a character for so many years, it's almost impossible to escape this trope....only exeption: jennifer aniston or do you know ANYONE ELSE?
I think it is in fashion for people who become famous in music or on the screen to pretend to hate that specific song or role that acually made them famous. Without that role, or song, they would be nowhere, at least not rich and famous. Talking about being ungrateful. I've seen so many famous actors and singers claim this and I just think "moron", it is ok if they don't like the part or the song, but to claim they regret it, yeah sure. Robert Patteron was almost as famous for hating Twilight as he was famous for being ine of the lead. He has griwn up since then and says he was an idiot for trashing the movies like he did. I guess they believe they are "cool" by doimg this.
Well yeah, The Deep is so much more interesting than Nate! And that is definitely interesting about Meester. I would regret having a crush on Charles. Sure, Westwick was awesome. And Charles did have charm, the fact that he would do nothing but sleep around (when he wasn't with Blair) would be a real turn off. Seriously, he had no control and couldn't keep in in his pants. And hey maybe, Westwick just took those roles to try to break away from Bass. And while in no way downplaying what these women said, but it is also really easy to fling mud (words/allegations).
I believe the victims. It is difficult for these cases to favor the victims because of the lack of evidence and because it took them a while to speak up.
@@sggrvwo1186 I believe Ed not because he is a famous actor but because the girls took advantage of the metoo movement and changed the details according to how they liked. It was so sus. I was following the issue.
Hollywood can not get these actors or actresses to come back they are happy in their music and their other show they are doing. It is Hollywood ruin it them self
RU-vid "variety, actors actors, chase and Penn badgley" they did a video chat with one another talking about their shows and their past. Cute light hearted and entertaining. Lol
@@bxbxb1_554 dumbass, I’m saying with every show YES,it does. Many shows have it where certain coworkers didn’t like each other/hated the show. I never said anything about some not being real life friends.
